I've had the pleasure of working with Columbia Cooling & Refrigeration for both my personal…read moreproperties and many of my real estate clients, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Over the past year alone, they've helped more than a dozen of my clients, as well as serviced the HVAC system at my Airbnb, where guests aren't always the gentlest on equipment. Every single time, they've been incredibly responsive, efficient, honest, and reasonably priced. What I appreciate most is that they never try to upsell unnecessary repairs or services. They take the time to explain what's actually needed, provide fair solutions, and stand behind their work. In an industry where trust is everything, I trust them completely. Whether it's a routine service call, troubleshooting an issue, or helping a client through an unexpected HVAC problem during a real estate transaction, Columbia Cooling & Refrigeration is always my first call. They've earned my confidence and continue to be my go-to recommendation for clients, friends, and family throughout the Wenatchee Valley. Professional, dependable, and honest- exactly the kind of company you want to work with.

We had a string of hot days (100), and my A/C was having intermittent issues. I attempted a few…read morerepairs myself all of which would get things going for a while before stopping working. I finally started going down the list of HVAC places in our area. Eduardo answered and was able to come out within a couple of hours. It was after hours so I paid an afterhours rate that was worth it. He was able to quickly identify the problem as a mistake I had made with one of my fixes. I had wired the motor incorrectly so it was getting improper voltage which was causing it to overheat and shutdown. He then spent the next 30 minutes doing routine inspection and maintenance. He found where some vibration was wearing down A/C lines that would have cased a failure later and addressed it. He more securely attached the new capacitor which I had done with zip ties. He checked coolant, tidied up my cables, addressed some corrosion. He didn't charge me anything above the service fee for coming out. On top of that he was nice, easy to talk to, and never made me feel dumb or bad for the mistake I made. I will for sure use him again if I have any trouble.

I haven't yet replaced it, but if I were to, I believe that I would go with Wells & Wade Mechanical. Shane was sent to me through AHS home warranty to repair my central air system. He was great! He…read morehad mapped out exactly what I needed and I expected him to return to complete the repair. Unfortunately, AHS decided that Salcido would do the repair. They were okay but weren't as communicative as Shane had been as far as telling me what was going on and how things would be fixed. Salcido finished the job - using a different thermostat than what Shane had installed during his initial visit. The A/C worked so no problem - except it kept switching on and off on auto mode. I thought that the thermostat was more sensitive or something so I didn't pay much attention. Then I got my electric bill and about had heart failure. It was huge! It was nearly double what it had been for the same month during the previous year. Thankfully, I had saved the thermostat that Shane had initially installed and put it back on. No more on and off cycling and no more huge bills! I definitely wish Shane had been allowed to do the entire project. As I write this, it's now three years later and the heat is out. I've done all I know to do and have submitted a claim through AHS again and got the message that Shane will be contacting me for the repair within 24 hours. I will be crossing my fingers that he gets to handle the entire project!
