Wow. This company is so impressive I took time out of my day this afternoon to write about it…read morehere. My home project evolved in my mind over time. I live in the Sundance community in Beaumont so all the front yards look about the same. I wanted to remove some of my grass with the drought we're having so I designed (on scratch paper at my kitchen table) a front yard with concrete steps, a large sidewalk leading around to the backyard, and a front patio area instead of the default plants/grass/dirt they give you when you buy new. This idea would effectively cut my water usage in half. We used Victor Aleman with Supreme Concrete a few years ago to design and pour a concrete parking lot at work along with ADA ramps, and RV parking. They were awesome then and so I called them. Victor came to my house and walked around with me. I showed him my drawing and he said he could make it happen without any issue. He made a few practical suggestions which I was very open to and said he'd send me a bid later that day. He did just that. We agreed on a price and they got started. He and his crew came over to do prep work (digging, running forms, laying drainage, etc.). They were extremely polite, clean, and respectful. Sometimes when dealing with contractors you get a mixed bag and these guys are top shelf. A huge, awesome surprise happened when they poured the concrete steps. I saw that they had run ambient lights to the steps. This was something I had mentioned as a really neat idea but didn't expect him to include it in the price. They just finished pouring and I couldn't be happier. It came out better than I could have imagined. I'm referring them to all my neighbors and friends. If you need concrete work, I recommend Victor Aleman at Supreme Concrete. Andrew D Gardner, EA

Luis was very understanding & was able to work with us in terms of our budget. He also took the time to answer many of our additional questions & concerns. Luis & the Lira Concrete team were very knowledgeable, very polite, always arrived early, & have a great work ethic. In addition, Luis & Lira Construction did not overcharge for our design in comparison to a few of the contractors we spoke with at the time in regard to diamond joints, rebar, & etc. Another positive thing we wanted to highlight is that Luis is licensed, bonded, & insured. He was very transparent throughout the whole process. We are thankful & have received many compliments from friends & family regarding the concrete work in our backyard. If you're looking to get some great concrete work done & want to support a local & veteran owned business we would highly recommend contacting Luis & the Lira Concrete team. Friendly Suggestions: (Not professional advice please differ to a concrete contractor for further suggestions & advice) * Research & then discuss with your contractor which PSI & thickness of concrete would be the best fit for your home or business. * Talk about the number of recommended breaks in terms of the concrete * Research & discuss the type of finishes you would like for the concrete work with your contractor, in addition to any areas of the concrete where you & /or your family are planning on having a gazebo or patio cover on the concrete. *Map out your landscape & if feasible hire a landscaping team /contractor to work along side your concrete contractor * If you're wanting to put in a fire pit and or a grill discuss the gas line in regards to your concrete work (based on the work & design may need to consult gas company /city /HOA). *Discuss with your contractor the need for more soil around your concrete if needed * Point out any outdoor drains or areas that will need to be accessed post concrete work & how the contractor can accommodate * Discuss the water drainage & the need for the concrete to be slightly sloped ( speaking very generally here contractor will know the correct terminology ) so that water does not collect /pool when raining. * Also consider discussing a retaining wall if needed for areas near fencing or walls * Discuss details of when the concrete will be poured & notify your neighbors or close by businesses of when the concrete work will taking place out of courtesy due to the noise level * Have water or water bottles available for the construction/concrete team * Speak with other highly recommended professionals in the field of construction &/or concrete work ( including YouTube & Instagram videos/reels) who can provide background information that can assist you as you speak with your selected concrete contractor
