Very thorough and nice guy. However their quote was outrageous. We received several estimates and theirs was the absolute highest. Maybe someone will hire them without doing their research but I cannot and would not, in good conscience, refer them to anyone. read more

My husband had Dave redo our retaining wall, what was suggested did not work so good. Dave never gave up, he kept trying to get it, to where we all really liked it. I would definitely recommend Falcon Hardscape to anyone needing mason work, the job took longer, but Dave did not leave until the customer was happy, that says a lot about a company. We got Dave Falcon's name from Whitewater Rock and Supply. We went to the office listed for Falcon Hardscapes. It was not Falcon Hardscapes' office and the office only accepted "summons notices" for Falcon Hardscapes. It should have been our first clue. Dave shows up and gives us a $34,000 quote to lay flagstone pavers over 330 sq ft. He tells me he has to put a 3 foot concrete base under the flagstone and even then the flagstone will flake over time and he will be called out to replace it later. I pointed to my neighbors' flagstone and asked if it really had 3 feet of concrete under it and after 20 years of it being there, it looked just fine. Would not recommend Falcon Hardscapes. Not sure about Whitewater Rock and Supply any more either. read more

David was totally professional and polite. They did exactly what he said he was going to do. His workers were polite and kept the site clean. We had 3 truck loads of cement they started at 5:50 am and were done pouring by 11:00 am. If you need cement work done I highly recommend this company. We had David Falcon Hardscapes design and build a sidewalk from the street to the front door and a front patio with a short wall and columns. They also removed excess dirt from the grass area, replaced the sprinkler system and laid sod. The workers were very pleasant and worked hard. The job turned out beautiful and very professional. You will have to bear with me on this. This is going to be long. But, if you're like me, you want good detail if you are planning on a big job for your house. We wanted to completely landscape our backyard. Pour concrete in the back and along the side of the house, lay decorative rock and a small patch of grass for the dogs. We also wanted it to be simple maintenance. We have a smaller backyard so we were limited on options as far as design goes. David came by for an estimate and explained things well. We thought about it for a day and decided to use him. We had the feeling that if we went with anyone else, we would end up paying for additional costs or shotty work in the long run. David is very big on his drains and feels that it is very important. Most other estimates didn't even mention any type of drainage system. When we brought it up, it was extra. What? Why was it not even mentioned? We would have found out after it rained I guess. David is a no BS guy. When he started the job, he was here a lot with his crew. He didn't disappear for weeks at a time and pop up here and there. Him and his crew really busted their butt to give us an incredible back yard that we are proud of. There were also minor details that you really wouldn't expect for someone to take on. He sprinkled grass seed on spots that were dug up in my lawn for the concrete and even painted some wood along the rocks when he didn't have to. Just really went out of his way to address every single thing he could. I can't recommend David and his crew enough. read more

I called the local materials retailer to get a reference for a contractor who could build a 45' block wall to enhance the look of my front yard. They immediately said, "Call Dave" and gave me his phone number. I left a message and within 30 minutes received a call back. He said he had time that afternoon to come out and bid the job. He came, and within an hour had emailed me a bid which was very reasonable. He said he could start in a week and the job would take 3 days. I told him he could start anytime, and that sooner was better. The next morning at 6am, there was a crew in my front yard digging footings for the wall. As I left for work I saw Dave smiling. He said one of his jobs was tied up in permits so they were going to get cracking on mine. Within 3 days the job was done and was better than I expected. He used better materials than I originally thought and even made a small correction halfway through the job. No question about it, next concrete or block job goes to Dave Falcon. Hired Falcon for hardscape work in my backyard in Beaumont, recommenced by a friend at work. They did incredible work, very professional, always here when he said he'd be here, explained everything prior to initializing work, honest about pricing and his abilities, only performed work he knew was his specialty, explained what we should look for when hiring someone to do work he couldn't. Did stained concrete slab, cleaned up all landscape on retaining wall hill, laid rock on hill, put veneers on existing retaining wall, fixed drainage and laid updated piping and electrical under slab for lighting and sprinkler redo in future. We called last week and made an appointment for Falcon Hardscapes to give us a estimate on some retaining walls. David stated that he would be he on 8/9/'17 @11:00 - he was a NO SHOW - I guess David is/has to much money to be concerned about his next customer - we DO NOT REQUIRE any service from Falcon Hardscapes today or in the future. In reality what we needed was over 400' of retaining wall installation, over 500' of concrete block perimeter fencing and the front yard in xeriscape. It seems that when it comes to contractors in general the City Of Banning has the "Black Plague" as this is not the first time this has happened to us when we've needed "yard work" done. read more

Does decent work, but be very bad when It comes to communication. After setting dates for some paver installation, he failed to inform me that they would not be showing on the dates promised. Then simply has the nerve to tell me that he doesn't need a babysitter ! ... What happened to the customer being right ?? I'm sorry but a contractor whom I have never used before nor heard of in my area is not going to be working on my property without someone home. I Would not recommend this contractor if you want a professional experience. read more
