Great, safe place to store. Inside is cool without being climate controlled. Definitely less expensive than other storage facilities.

In all my years renting here, I've never seen or heard of anything suspicious or concerning. You can truly have peace of mind knowing your belongings are secure. 2 Cleanliness: Lili and the crew take great pride in maintaining the property. The facility is always spotless -- which is very important when storing valuable items. 3 Professional Staff: Lili and her team are always polite, professional, and genuinely friendly. They go out of their way to help and it's clear they appreciate every customer's business. Overall, ACE Self Storage is an excellent storage facility that checks every box -- safe, clean, and professionally managed. If you need extra storage space in Simi Valley, trust me, go to ACE Storage. You will not be disappointed! I also want to take a moment to personally thank Lili and her team for providing such a positive experience over the many years I've rented at ACE Self Storage. Lili is always friendly, attentive, and truly a pleasure to work with -- which made doing business here very enjoyable. Thank you again to the entire ACE Self Storage team!

Clean property with solid security measures in place is a good place to start. Having Ace Self Storage as an option has helped us tremendously. We recently needed a temporary additional space after a water leak situation. The staff member who took care of us getting signed up for a new unit did a great job of explaining options and giving us the tour. Even though we know the property, the new space was in a different building and he took us there personally. They offer a move-in discount, which is makes for a fair value. Our goal is to reduce the need for extra storage entirely, but this may not happen while I'm still working full time.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Never ever use Public Storage here or anywhere else. Their MANAGEMENT and…read moreCUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutely appalling!!! I never used the unit and was still charged for arbitrary administrative costs. Considering I did all the paperwork myself and had to file a report with the police 10 minutes after arriving on site, Public Storage REFUSED to work with me. They acknowledged the issues and that I never even used the unit, but stubbornly stated that a $29 Administrative Fee was non-refundable regardless of the circumstances and despite having to file an incident report with the police. Even after voicing my concerns to the District Manager and having (3) separate conversations with Customer Service, Public Storage stated that it was pretty much impossible. However the last rep stated they "would consider" and follow up, which never did. One of the worst aspects was I had the Public Storage District Manager send me a LinkedIn Request less than 30 minutes after voicing my concerns to him (we had previously worked together professionally) and Public Storage delegated the $29 bill to a collection agency in less than 45 days despite never physically mailing me a bill. I had received a SPAM text message and a SPAM email the same day I had last spoken to a Public Storage customer service rep, who stated it would be reviewed. There was NEVER a physical bill from Public Storage mailed to me. I literally just went on a European vacation and received several text messages and email messages from a collection agency requesting the $29 for the Administrative Fee. A mailed letter arrived just before leaving for our trip and in the middle of the vacation I received a warning email. The collection agency spent more money and effort regarding the administrative fee than Public Storage did despite voicing my concerns & issues immediately. It's deeply disgusting that a company cares to ruin their reputation for $29 as I'm grieving son that attempted to rent a storage unit to store my deceased parents things. The fact they sold the debt or subcontracted it less than 60 days seems like a clear violation of The Debt Collection Licensing Act. I may need to consider reaching out to the California Consumer Financial Protection Law (CCFPL). PUBLIC STORAGE you are an absolute embarrassment and non-professional. I'm beyond at a loss for words and it makes perfect sense why this location is not Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited. There are plenty of other places to spend money elsewhere

Unbelievable. So I came here due to the great reviews and their website claiming to have an…read more"award-winning" detail for the interior and exterior of my car. Long story short the entire front interior had horchata exploded all over it. It got inside the vents, seats, buttons, in every nook and cranny. I brought it in super early at 7am the next day and was greeted by Will, I showed him everything that was done, and he said they could handle it no problem and would call me to update me on my car to let me know if they had to keep it overnight. I get no update or call, I try to call before they close and get no response. You can never reach a person at the number provided, they have to call back. So the next day there's still no call back update so I go to the shop in person to see what's up. This time there's a guy named Josh and he looks at the car and then says it's all good to go and even says that they didn't have to use the steamer, which was a lie cause they really needed too. Mind you the garage is very dark and it's hard to see everything in its full effect. So I bring it out to the light in the parking lot and notice everything's super dirty, mess and grime everywhere still. I show my dad and he has me take it back with him to explain that for what I just paid, exactly $325, that my car isn't even cleaned. The guy Josh then backtracks and says he accidentally gave it back to me unfinished and it wouldn't be ready till 3 days later. I get texted by Will earlier than Josh initially said to pick up my car cause it's "finished" now. And I get my car this second time from Will, and omg it's still not detailed, they even forgot to clean my trunk, ENTIRELY, I can tell cause there's still beach sand everywhere. Again I only see this after I get out of the dark garage. This second time to pick up, the horchata was still visible in some spots and what's more irritating is how do you charge me $325 when you didn't even clean the entire car?! You didn't clean my trunk at all, cause there's still sand! They even left grease streaks and white speckles everywhere that wasn't there before. I have no energy to bring it back to them, cause they can't seem to get the simplest task right and they already held my car for such a long time for just a cleaning! The vacuumed carpet lines don't make up for the crappy job that was done, my car was partially cleaned. This shop is a total scam and if I had a luxury car like they advertise dealing with often, then I would BEWARE. Some parts on my steering wheel are scuffed now too, like someone has a ring on when cleaning it, so it left these little marks. Imagine if it was Porsche or a classic car, like how much does it cost to get a steering wheel replaced for that. Thank god it was just my Honda. Also I reach out in text immediately to Josh about this and he calls back and says that AGAIN it wasn't ready and they accidentally gave it back, and to bring it in AGAIN to fix it. Also he emphasizes that he should've charged us $600 for the clean instead of what we had to pay, which was $325. Nice way to twist it about giving us a "good deal," but no thank you I do not want to bring back my car for it to be fondled some more. I even said in the beginning it's not about the price, we didn't ask for the discount they said they gave us, we just wanted it to be done right with no stress. I told Josh the only way to remedy this is to refund half of what we paid back, since they only did half the work and Josh says that's not possible because they spent 18 hours on it already! 18 hours and it still looked like this is a complete joke. In conclusion this place is an absolute no. Ugh so disappointed and feel like I got ripped off by Barrett Automotive Group. All photos are from the second time picking up.

The management of this place is absolutely terrible and unhelpful when issues arise. Don't trust…read moreanyone here or from the company even a little bit. Initially, everything seemed great. The security was decent, there was plenty of space, and the temperature was controlled to a comfortable level. It was worth the slight premium. It was a bit annoying that access wasn't 24/7 considering how much we paid, but I could overlook that. Then, prices started increasing every few months. I understand that the entire industry does this, but it seemed excessive. Then, they began construction on the second floor. The noise, dust, and inconvenience were bothersome, and there was no compensation. Thankfully, I wasn't forced to move on my own dime like others. One day, I came to start unpacking and noticed a section of our belongings that had water damage. Initially, I thought it was caused by a leaking pipe, but upon closer inspection, water was flowing down from the second floor, rolling along the I beams and dripping onto our stuff for who knows how long and how much. It seems to be the same issue as this review: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ShTjDuewUGoj2wad9?g_st=ic. All attempts to resolve the issue ended with the company stating that since I didn't use their insurance, they couldn't offer any compensation, replacement, or rental refund. This seems unreasonable and goes beyond the terms of the contract that absolves them from liability. Either the roof, second floor, or both were not properly constructed, allowing water to flow along the I beams. You can see rusted water drop marks on multiple I beams. These beams are completely exposed and there's nothing installed to protect the storage units from water or debris from the second floor. Since they were aware of the issue from the review I mentioned earlier and didn't take any action, it appears to be gross negligence. I also highly doubt that they would even consider addressing the real issue and refunding partial rent if we had their insurance. Regardless of whether we have insurance or not, the website guaranteed dryness and a storage satisfaction guarantee. If you decide to stay here, make it a short stay, cover your belongings completely, and request a different unit if you have any beams or pipes above your unit. And pray that nothing else goes wrong.
