And I'm going to reiterate here what my Dad always told me: "you get what you pay for." ...meaning, I would have first contacted someone with a lower hourly rate, but that probably would not have ended up leaving me with this flawless expertise Luis offers! First, he was available on a HOLIDAY! Responded promptly & professionally. Super convenient as I had the day off & another home consultation scheduled for later in the afternoon. I had a small handful of tasks needing help/attention. He was prompt to respond & offered his rates/terms up front, no hassle & extremely easy to schedule with. While I did have materials on hand, he suggested they wouldn't be as sufficient in the long term, so I genuinely appreciated he came to inspect & then went to purchase any additional materials based on the consultation. ...and from there, I let him do his art! The entirety wasn't a big ask- 3 smaller tasks of replacing a closet dowel hanger, placing patio string lights & mounting a tapestry quilt. The biggest caveat of this was the kitchen pantry storage cabinet American Furniture delivered, needing assembly. I already knew this would not be possible for me to maneuver, solo. And, I am SO glad I decided to seek a professional to construct this because it took him a good minute! Even better, he went above & beyond to anchor this piece to the wall, seeing it was not fully sturdy due to the tile flooring pattern. He communicated arrival ahead. Had literally ALL of the supplies & materials needed on hand outside of what needed to be included in the consult. He worked independently & extremely quiet (aside from the necessary power tools)- I barely noticed! ...and absolutely acknowledged my senior kitty who curiously wanted to "supervise". The job did take a bit longer than anticipated, but that was due to the beast of pantry cabinet assembly. I am SO happy with the services & I feel like the hourly rate/pricing is definitely on par for the quality & expertise provided. And, he took diligence to haul any scraps/waste out to the dumpster- leaving literally no trace behind. It was very convenient paying via Zelle transfer. Cash is also accepted, cards have a 3% fee. I would highly recommend, and will be bookmarking to save this in my collection because I will most certainly seek Luis for any future handyman services. Still just VERY grateful he obliged coming out on the 4th of July to help with my home needs. The 5 stars certainly are accurate!

Just wanted to take a few minutes to give a shout out to David @ DCP Carpentry…read more The MBR shower was showing signs of discoloration on the wall tile and the floor was peeling. David took a few steps into the MRB and said he could smell mold coming from the shower! I knew the shower was in bad shape but I never suspected mold! He immediately told me what to do to hopefully control the mold. David provided a quote and started working on the shower the following week. Once he removed the tile, he discovered the damage was far more extensive than he initially quoted. What he thought would be a 2-3 day job turned out to take a week. He literally had to demolish the entire shower and build it back up from scratch! Despite the additional work required, he did not increase the price. He just did the work while singing! David did a fantastic job! The shower is mold free and absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend DCP Carpentry for all home repairs or remodeling. David can be reached at 602-904-2238.

So here is the…read moreshort story we had Jeremy give us a bid for a media wall and the bid was fair and with in budget ........BUT we decided to go with a friend. Well we got what we wanted but the price went up and then we started to notice the imperfections here and there. Then one night we heard a crash and glass shattering. Turns out the the new shelves that where being held in with pins came loose from the wall and all my family picture frames broke, and I lost a blue glass candy dish that we inherited from my husbands grandmother. I was angry, and heartbroken!! At that moment we where done. So I reached out to Jeremy again, and told him the situation. Jeremy came to our home and gave us another bid. However this time it was to repair the multiple issues we had with the media wall, as well as some other home improvements like, a new side garage door installed, master bathroom door reversed entry, drywall repair, moulding repair, paint, and building NEW THICKER SHELVES !!! To say we absolutely love our media wall is an understatement !! We can not thank Jeremy enough!! and we plan to see him again for phase 2 of renovations. Actually make that for anything we will need in the future!! I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew because they do excellent work. In fact when our son came over, and saw all of the work Jeremy and his crew did, and the quality they put into their work, he decided to have Jeremy do his home repairs as well. Thank you Jeremy !!!

All options were provided to me when the door was ordered and when the door arrived, myself and my wife were completely impressed with the quality, style and overall look of the door. The communications from the company and Mark was top notch through the process and we are completely satisfied with everything. I believe the value of the door is acceptable. Iron doors are not cheap and the value of the door (to me) also comes from the customer service and satisfaction in the end. I highly recommend the Litchfield Park location, Mark as the sales agent, as well as First Impression Ironworks as a reputable company.

Although appointments are strongly suggested, we lucked out on a quiet morning and were greeted by Mark Reardon in the showroom. He walked us through the steps of selecting several styles of doors we liked and offered suggestions AND information about their doors! The quality is amazing. Mark came out to measure and the door was ordered. About 10 days later, our door was installed and it looks AMAZING! The installers were efficient, professional, tidy and did a great job explaining the best way to care for the door and to use it correctly. Our entire experience was professional and efficient. This morning, we were able to open our front AND back door for airflow, and feel secure and safe with a security door in front!.
