I contacted Adam at A-Team when a large cedar snapped during a snow storm and crashed down onto my roof. The tree caused significant damage including a six inch diameter hole though the roof. Adam sent Jake out right away. Jake climbed through 2 feet of snow, removed the cedar from my roof and covered the damage with a plastic tarp to prevent water intrusion. After the snow melted, Adam and his teem returned and took down 4 broken/snapped trees and several that were leaning towards my home. The trees included a 100' pine and a 90' cedar. Their attention to detail and care for my property was impressive. I was very satisfied with the work done and would highly recommnetd A-Team. read more

Great work today by these guys. Highly Recommend! Very efficient and professional. Super nice to work with.

Above and beyond! Asked a local Facebook group for recommendations and they did not disappoint. Adam the owner was out for a bid within a day of contacting him, set a price and date for tree work and they showed up right on time and in force. The team was super efficient and knowledgeable. Mindful of power lines, propane lines, and water lines. Dropped a number of tees in a few hours. Cleaned up all the limbs and even did a few pyracantha branches we had downed and put in a pile that was not their responsibility! The guys where great at communicating with me and asking exactly which trees I wanted down and they went above and beyond once I gave them the okay! This is a RAVE review for them. I would recommend over and over again. Adam knows what California insurance companies want once it comes to a non renewal notice. We are very very pleased. read more

In short, outstanding service and company. If you want details, read on... Well as everyone in pollock pines and the Sierra foothills knows, Christmas 2021 brought snow and lots of it and then the trees all fell down. One our neighbors large pines uprooted probably from the very sticky snow onto some pines and cedars on our side and then proceeded to lean onto our second story deck and roof line. Luckily it was a gradual "lean" but it was over our propane tank. Complicated but Adam's crew took great care of it all. After speaking with Adam the morning of the incident, John came out to get a closer look. The next day Todd and his team came out bright and early and got working. With great thoughtfulness and effort they got the tough part done with out issue. Other than some cracks in one of the deck rail posts, luckily there was no major damage and any issue with the propane tank was avoided. The team saved our windows, deck, roof, house, propane tanks and lines! Pricing was fair and well work their expertise. Great to watch them work in such coordinated fashion. Thanks so much A-Team! read more

Would not call them again. They did come out and take off dead branches that were left behind but left their garbage from lunch on side of my house where they were parked. read more

I already wrote a FULL review, but YELP lost it evidently and said I only had a draft with nothing written. So here is the synopsis. The owner Adam and his dedicated crew do the MOST AWESOME SAFE WORK at a reasonable price. Extremely trustworthy. They clean up after themselves. I had extensive tree removal done (after the Caldor Fire) and my neighbors are STILL remarking how gorgeous my property looks. I do NOT miss the constant pine needle raking and roof covering. I was so impressed I offered that if they had a sign to post it in my yard. I had 5 acres before moving here of dense oak, and know tree companies. I have decided I would love more work by them. read more

Had to drop 4 trees and they were done quickly and efficiently! Good job A-Team! Price was right too!

I had a tree fall on my house this morning and needed a professional company to come out and get it off the house and on the ground safely without causing more damage. I called A Team (because I used them 2 years ago when a tree fell on the barn) right away. They answered my call (didn't have to leave a message or wait for a call back) and were out at my house with a 3-man crew in about an hour. They were able to get the tree on the ground, clean up the debris with a burn pile and cut the tree into manageable rounds. Oh, and they did all of this in the middle of a hail/snow/rain storm!!! Talk about quality customer service! The A Team Tree Service is dependable, skilled and gets the job done quick for a great price. We will definitely be having them back to take down a few more trees once the weather clears up so we hopefully don't have anymore emergency tree removal needs. read more

I wouldn't recommend a team. More like f team. They broke the fence latch. They left the side gate open which I asked them not to use. They left dead branches on the tree and could've cut more. A huge mess in the front yard. They didn't even tell me they left. I thought they left for lunch. Turned out they were done without a chance to inspect (I was home) and a check. They sent back one of their employees in his personal car to get payment. Very disgusted at the work for $1000. They turned out to do the right thing and came back and did a much better job. I am still a bit disappointed in that they don't ask you to review their work before taking off. Also if you're a woman don't have them do the work. Huge difference between what work I got them to do vs the man of the house. read more

The team of four spent the past two days at my property dropping damaged trees and cleaning up storm damage in the heavy rain. The team worked extremely hard and were very professional. I am so happy with their performance! I know who I will call in the future for my tree service needs. read more

We had a 100 year old, 100 ft digger pine that was damaged by the storm we had in Placerville on New Years's Eve. The tree had to come down. I called Adam of A-Team Tree Service and they did the job. Branches were tangled in nearby trees, hanging over neighbors' property. The core of the tree was rotted half way up. I watched, holding my breath, gritting my teeth as the tree was expertly felled. Each member of his team had a job to do...guide the cut branches down without causing damage, retrieve and chip branches and clean the area. The whole procedure was carefully choreographed and successfully executed! I've had the A-Team cut trees for the past 4 years and have always been more than pleased with their skills. This year they were spectacular! read more

We just bought a cabin in Kyburz, it had a large tree contacting the powerline. As it was the service line, PG&E refused to do anything about it and said it was our responsibility. I contacted several tree removal services through yelp. Only managed to get a quote from one other. Our neighbor, Debbie, recommended Adam and Amy with A Team. The other quote was twice as much than A Team. We had PG&E shut off the power, A Team came out remove the tree beautifully without damaging our house (the tree was only inches from the roofline) and then called PG&E turn the power back on. All taken care of in less than a week. Thanks again. read more

Adam has the proper equipment to do a quality job and an experienced crew. He took down a mature cedar tree that was sandwiched between our home and car port, the limbs were chipped directly into his truck, the site was clean when he left. As a bonus, he took out two dead stumps under a bedroom window - his loader was working on another property in our neighborhood so it just happened to be available ... there was no additional cost. Adam works and lives in Pollock Pines and has performed volunteer fuels reduction for both the Pollock Pines Camino Fire Safe Council, Community Project events and for CEDAPP's, fuels reduction efforts to construct a play area at the Forebay Community Park. read more

Had an absolutely great experience with Adam and A-Team. We had a massively overgrown oak tree threatening two structures and he came out and not only gave us a very reasonable quote, he also identified three other dangerous trees on our property. We compared prices with other companies and hus couldn't be beat. They were responsive via text and phone call and did a great job on the 4 trees. Would absolutely recommend them. read more

A Team Tree Service - Tree came down due to snow. - Tree Services Near Me

October 8th, 2017 was the beginning of what would be weeks and weeks of the most violent wind storms that would catapult Northern California into a raging inferno killing at this time 42 people, unknown number of pets, thousands and thousands of homes and destroy at this point 245,000 plus acres. A Team Tree Service came to our aid! They risked everything to help save our community. We will forever be grateful. With my heart and soul, I thank you. You are truly wonderful people. read more

These guys are the real deal. A team Tree Service ( Adam and Team) is one of the best companies we have done business with. Adam and his team were great!!! They showed up when it was very cold with snow on the ground, this was after the big March snowstorm. They had just come from another job and instead of calling it a day, they came to our house and removed the tree that had fallen on our roof. The impact of the tree punctured several large holes in our roof and we could not get anyone up to fix the roof until the tree was gone, of course, there was water leaking into our house, so a rather urgent issue since it would be raining the next 4 days. They came up and even laid out some plastic we had purchased to at least hold off the rain and snow. God bless them for being so awesome!!!! Thank you, Adam and team. read more

Super Unprofessional. Were not on time they were late. Could have been cleaned up way better.

My constant and perpetual worry about picking the right tree service to cut down troublesome trees near my home is a thing of the past, thanks to these guys. Total professionals, very reasonably priced, no fuss, no worries. Adam and the boys will be back to my property any time I need a tree taken care of. Thanks again, guys! read more

I am a remote landlord of a property in Pollock Pines. I never met Adam and I never personally saw the results. At the same time, I can say that I have never had an easier time working with any professional remotely. My tenant reported a dangerous tree, and I also knew that many of my trees were in desparate need of pruning. I paid Adam for his day rate, and according to my tenant, the results were amazing. He also split the wood for my tenant to use at no extra cost. I wouldn't hesitate to call him. read more

Adam and his team did such a fantastic job! We moved into a house that has a beautiful yard, but hadn't been maintained for a couple of decades - They cut down dead trees, hauled out yard debris and turned the backyard jungle into a park like setting. If felt like we were experiencing a before and after HGTV show! Adam and his team are professional, respectful and hard workers. I highly recommend the A Team Tree Service! read more

Fair bid, showed up on time, professional and safe, took care with neighbor's concerns, got the job done quickly.

I live in Pollock Pines. While I love the forest and living in the mountains, winter time is particularly dangerous when all the trees close to the house hang over it in a threatening manner. The last two winters all the Cedar trees by the house would hang over the roof like candy canes, one even broke off on the house. The thought of being skewered and dying a painful, snowy, splintery death is not appealing so we called a few tree removal companies for quotes. A Team tree service does a lot of work in my HOA. Adam estimated it would take two days to drop the six closest trees to my home, all cedars, chip the branches and cut the wood into 16 inch rounds. After day one, my yard was tore up, but they warned me it would look like a bomb went off and not to worry. Day 2 yielded amazing results; All the trees were dropped, branches chipped, no damage to the house, and they even cleaned up a bit more then they needed to. No complaints! I am very happy. read more

Amazing service and work. Great bunch of local guys on the crew. Best around for sure.

Adam and John gave a fair and accurate estimate. They were able to plan out 4 days of work perfectly, and were willing to do a few extra tasks (beyond the estimate) as well! They cut down a few trees that were close together, pruned branches leaning over the roof (using ropes to prevent damage to the roof), and removed a lot of mistletoe. Adam is quite a skilled climber and got some very pesky mistletoe at the very top of the trees. One of the pruned "branches" (it was half of a tree) cracked a few tiles on the roof, but Adam was quick and honest to both point it out and repair it at no charge. I highly recommend the A Team Tree Service for tree work and mistletoe removal. read more

Adam's crew did an exceptional job thinning up and removing ivy from a few large trees behind my house. They were all very courteous, hard working, safe and didn't leave a mess behind. His price was better than the other bids I received and The A Team will be the first one I call for future tree work. read more

Bought a house, and decided to have a professional come check out the trees in case we needed to do anything to prepare for winter. Adam was upfront and honest (nothing particularly dangerous at this time!) and the quote seemed right - we'll definitely use him in the future! read more

Adam and his crew are top notch. Richard, Adam's father, came out and quoted us last week. Adam and his crew came today and exceed all expectations. His men were nice, respectful, professional and quick. We just bought the house and had a lot of branches to be brought down and they worked seamlessly together in a few areas of the yard, everyone cooperating and making sure they were safe. My son came about half way through and started to groan at all the branches and leaves that were now over the area that took us a full day to clean up. Little did my son know, these guys have it all covered. We never said a word about it, but they left our yard just as nice if not nicer than they found it. If I could give them more stars, I would. read more
