With the recent storms, we had two tall trees come down in our backyard (a week apart). We used their services a few years ago to remove another fallen tree and complete clean-up and tree-trimming. Chris was quick to respond and work us into his schedule. He came by the house to understand the work required and provided a fair bid to complete the work. Idk man. Found this guy on yelp. Job as a whole was pretty average. One guy came out looked all around my yard I explained I wanted all my trees trimmed which are pretty big and my leaves picked up just because there was so much and i wanted my house to look nice for superbowl. He looked at everything said itd be no problem at all. gave me the price we shook hands. He came by a couple days later to do the job while I was at work. He was texting me throughout the process and let me know when he was finished. I come home front yard looks clean go to the back yard and still see 2 pretty big piles of leaves so I call him thinking maybe hes going to come by another day to finish but he let me know there was more leaves than he thought made no attempt to schedule comming back to finish and he still also asked for the full price. I said no but still gave him most of the price we agreed on. Small business and all probably just had an off day. But I still strongly believe that if u start a job you should finish it or at least tell me you cant do what we agreed and why before i come home and have to see for myself the jobs not done. But yea having to go back and work on a job i paid for leaves a bad taste in my mouth. To sum up the work he did do was good. But I expected alot more. But hey Live and learn. read more

I messaged the Watson Brothers on Monday morning for 4 palms (3 tall, 1 pineapple) that desperately needed trimming. Chris came by Monday evening to take a look and provide a free estimate, and the work was scheduled for Wednesday morning. Chris was responsive, friendly and thorough. WOW! The Watson brothers sure took amazing pride in their work! Every detail mattered to them! I loved how they really are brothers & have created a business! Chris told me "It's not a job to us!" He went on to say "We love the reaction of our clients faces, once they see the finished product!" I live on three acres. I personally was beyond amazed! The two of them had cut down 4 Wheeping Willows & they removed it all, down to the roots! They trimmed & shaped the other 6 Wheeping Willows. I also had a few Crape Myrtles that needed trimming. They picked up all the tree debris & hauled it away! The Watson brothers were very reasonable! My son is having The Watson brothers to trim & cut down some trees this Friday! Watson Brothers Tree Care is an all around great company. My father had a tree come down on his patio. Chris came out that day to give us a reasonably priced estimate. He was very knowledgeable and detailed when explaining how he was going to safely remove the tree. Since it was a hazard, Chris came out the next day to complete the job (which happened to be Christmas Eve!) He did exactly what he described and left my father's yard cleaner than it was before. We had a tree removed a few months earlier by a different company, and we felt that the Watson Brothers price was fair and competitive. For the work that was done I was pleased with, but I made the mistake of paying up-front for a job that included weed spraying/removal, general yard clean-up and haul away, front yard fertilization, and on-going front yard grass cutting. A month went by and my grass was getting tall so I contacted him, didn't hear back, contacted him again the next day and didn't hear back, and the next day he did reach out. He apologized saying he thought he had already reached out to me saying he wouldn't be able to come back to complete the job due to COVID and having someone in his life with a chronic condition which I understand. I asked if someone else from his service could come out and finish the job which also apparently wasn't an option. I asked for a partial refund to which he said "it would only be 10 minutes worth of work" regarding coming back and spraying/removing the weeds again. Sure enough my weeds came back. He agreed on a partial refund, I said mailing a check or cash would be fine. Still haven't gotten that partial refund and it's been 2-3 weeks. I was disappointed by the lack of follow through and poor communication. read more

Watson Brothers pruned a large "plum" tree in my front yard last year but unfortunately due to an incredible amount of growth, and probably coupled with recent winds, two large branches broke off. I called Chris who immediately arranged to come out and assess the situation. He determined that some additional pruning would be helpful and did so without trying to charge me more ... he considered it part of the work he had already done. These guys were great. They showed up, walked the property with me and got right to work on getting my home ready for resale. They removed some tall overhanging tree branches, shaped up some landscaping shrubs and trimmed or removed plants that had seen better days. They put in one new large plant as well. It was worth it.
