Highly recommend HV Tree Care! They were affordable, efficient and they fit me into their schedule earlier when they had a cancellation which was great! I had shopped around for a few different quotes and HV Tree Care had the best price in the Cameron Park area. They removed a HUGE tree on the side of my yard, grinded down the stump and hauled everything away. We had a dead fir well over 100 feet tall very near our cabin on Forest Service Land. Hugo came out, looked things over and gave us a very competitive bid. A date was arranged and Hugos three man crew arrived this morning at 8:30. They went right to work, getting the chipper in position and checking out their gear. Right at 9:03 the climber, Roberto headed up the tree. Limbs were carefully cut and either allowed to fall or were roped and lowered. Hugo soon arrived with a trailer and a small bobcat type tractor. Roberto worked steadily while Hugo and two assistants gathered up the limbs and ran them through the chipper. Roberto secured a line in a neighboring tree and then began cutting sections up to 15 or so feet long from the top down expertly dropping them avoiding a water line and a septic system leach line. The dropped sections were cut into manageable lengths then hauled to the trailer by the bobcat. When the last standing section was cut it was discovered that there was a man sized hole in the base of the tree. It was quite a jolt. By 4:30 the entire job was completed. All material under about 8 inches in diameter was chipped and blown into the big truck. All of the logs were gone and the area invoilved completely raked up and left in a very tidy condition. We couldn't be any happier with HV Tree Care. Hugo and his crew were obviously professional, prepared and skilled. The team worked hard and smart and finished a big job much to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them for your difficult and potentially dangerous tree removal work. read more

EXCELLENT from the moment I called to the cleaning up after job. The nice lady answering phone was friendly ,polite ,understanding and professional. Hugo came out that afternoon to examine a good size limb that had cracked and tree trimming. He gave me options as to how much to trim and explained how he would handle the cracked limb, which was quite high up. The first thing you notice about Hugo is his wonderful ,warm Smile. He was also friendly,polite,very understanding of my situation and professional. Hugo and his crew were right on time and got right to work. I needed a large "V" shaped Oak topped off before it fell over. There were (2), Propane Tanks directly under the tree and a property line fence that obviously I didn't want damaged. Huge was the lowest bid out of the eight contacts I solicited for the job. I can't say enough good things about my experience dealing with this business. No drama, no baloney just a quality job that I'm totally satisfied with and would highly recommend for anyone needing tree trimming or removal. Hugo absolutely knows what he is doing. Huge branches were gently lowered to the ground without damage to anything under the tree. His hard working crew chipped and cut everything that came off the tree.
