The initial problem that was assessed was masking a bigger problem, and both problems got taken care of efficiently, and expertly, for a reasonable price. Amazing service! I accidentally hit my garage door and caused a bolt to come loose which prevented my door from closing. I was desperate to get the door closed for safety reasons. I came home a few days ago to a garage door that wouldn't open. After very politely asking my door what seemed to be the problem, I turned to Google for help (okay, who are we kidding...I walked through the house, letting out a few expletives as I carried way too many grocery bags with one hand, and found cables hanging from my garage door, that clearly was NOT going to be working anymore on this particular evening). After seeing some great reviews from A Team, and having no personal experience to go on, I gave them a call. By this time, it was almost 8pm. Patrick, the owner, answered my call after just two rings, and said he could come out the very same evening! I was grateful, but didn't want to ask this gentleman to interrupt his evening, just so I didn't have to park my car in the driveway. So, I made an appointment for the next morning. The next morning, Camell, a team member at A Team called me when he was about 30 minutes away from my house. This was great, because it allowed me to plan my morning a little better and stay at work for a bit longer. Once he got to my house (exactly when he said he would), he confirmed what was suspected: my torsion spring had broken and would need to be replaced. He did the work quickly, and also replaced my rollers and gave my door a tune up. I paid what I thought was a more-than fair price (yep, I Googled what the going rate for that is), and was very pleased with the work. We called the A Team at 9:30 this morning and by 12:30, the repairs were completed! The door wouldn't open and when we spoke to Pat in the office, he suspected the spring was broken. He said all needed parts would be on the truck so whatever the issue was not to worry. Camell was our service man and besides replacing the spring, he assessed the whole system, replaced a few other soon to be needed parts, lubed and tuned up at no charge and the repairs were reasonably priced. This is the second time I used A Team Garage Doors. The first time was a simple adjustment of the springs because the door would not stay open when the release was pulled. Today was the second time in which I needed a new garage door opener. My original one from Sears had a sprocket shear off after 20 years of use so I can't complain that it failed!
