Michelle is a wizard! I got bridal ready last year for my wedding in May and ordered the largest…read morequantity possible to fill out my very thin, naturally fine hair so that it could be as thick as possible for my wedding day and Michelle did NOT disappoint, I still have like 10 tips in and get compliments all the time about how "long" my hair is. Lol, I got them done last May and still have at least half a head of these k-tips in to this day. Michelle's salon is a little interesting to get to as she's located within a plaza full of other businesses, but the area is nice and close to the train if you need. Michelle is super sweet and super responsive! She knows her stuff, has a ton of experience, and worked so fast, I think she put in like 20-40+ tips (can't remember but I still have a lot left and have lost 10+ so far, so I'm assuming she put in closer to 40?), and she completed the hair in less than an hour with styling. She was so pleasant to get to know, and I look forward to visiting her salon again in the future. As for the tips, I have started manually removing the super tangled ones, and some others have fallen on their own, which I don't mind. The K-tips have grown with my hair and are now below my waist, hitting my hips, they still look amazing almost like the day she put them in. I was pretty upset with how expensive these were, but since they were for my wedding, I coughed up the money and have since gotten double or triple my money's worth. I will say that where some of the tips have fallen off, they damaged my hair, but I'm good with that since I'll be cutting my hair after the rest of the tips fall out. I am so, so happy with my extensions from Michelle! In total, I paid: 1,150 + 100 + tip, which turned out to be ~1,238.70, but I got the "Mac Daddy" longest bundles she had, 22 inches, I believe. I have not treated them very well, and they have somehow still held. I also have dyed them probably more than 10 times with the rest of my hair with no issues. The quality of her hair extensions is amazing! Unless you tell someone, they probably won't know you have extensions. Next time I have another special occasion, and she's available, I'm definitely booking again with Michelle. For a first-time experience with K-tip extensions, I could not have gone with anyone better. FYI--if it's your first time getting hair extensions, know it can be painful to get used to since the extensions weigh down your natural hair, and as they fall out, they will rip your natural hair out unless you're gentle. THIS WILL HAPPEN NO MATTER where you go, btw, there's really no way to avoid it, unless you get them in for a few days and then removed after, or you're an expert with these and know how to take care of your hair with tips in. You could also pay extra to have her remove them if you need that later. I untangle them manually, and so far, that's worked for me. Style as per usual, keeping in mind the bumps where the tips are attached/glued to your natural hair.

Michelle is the absolute best!…read more I had never had hair extensions before and she made the process seamless while also answering my 1,000 questions. Michelle installed my hair extensions about a month before my wedding and my hair was perfect for the big day and I still love how the extensions look currently. The extensions color match, hair thickness, and how it can be styled matched my hair impeccably. Michelle truly is a master of her craft and I really appreciate how beautiful she made me feel for my wedding (and for the many months after!) Michelle is also so much fun to spend time with - my hair installation and move-up appointments are always something I look forward to! Her salon is chic, stylish, and welcoming and I can't wait until I get to go see her again,

For the hundreds of dollars I spent a on a color, highlight and cut, I expected really good service. I had color all over my forehead and both cheeks. When I asked about the large circle on my forehead, I was handed a color off wipe so I could wipe the color off myself. Although the mark was more of a slight chemical burn. The stylist had completely forgot I booked a haircut until halfway through foils , so she did a quick dry cut after drying my hair before styling. I was there for about 5 hours and I left with a light shade of blonde in the back of my hair and a darker Caramel color in the front . When I got home I noticed I had some bleach bleeds in the back (she did not show me the back once) I showed photo and said I like ashy blonde and they toned me with 8G an 9NW - which means my hair was very gold/Carmel aka a tad orange. I don't mean to drag anyone in this review, but I want to be honest. There is nothing worse than spending a ton of money then go home and fix your hair, luckily in another life I worked as a hairdresser and am able to fix my hair , but not everyone can.

I purchased a Groupon for a color and cut. My haircut and color were OK. Otherwise, this is one of…read morethe worst salon experiences I have ever had. I am traumatized by Agnes' unprofessional, rude, and dangerous behavior. She started the appointment almost 30 minutes late, dyed my forehead, up charged me for "long hair", though no other salon has ever done that, she left the salon for over 30 minutes while my hair was processing, rinsed with freezing cold water and didn't listen to my requests to use warmer water, pushed my head around like a doll, argued a lot, barked orders like a sergeant to move my head, put my chin up, etc.. Flung-dye soaked hair in my face, yelled at me when I moved it off my face, put an open pair of scissors centimeters from my eye, and pretty much was rude and abusive for 2 hours straight, which left me wanting to get the H@ll out of there as soon as the service was completed. My fingernails have black dye under it that seems to come off my hair every time I touch it. Agnes could have blinded me with the dye-soaked hair or the scissors. The only saving grace was she educated me on how to take care of my damaged hair and how to apply products. Other than that and her little dog Ira, the experience was pure H@ll.

CONS: She gets late to open the door (That's totally fine but I guess she needs to give a heads up and she kind of thinks it's okay. Well.. Not sure about that), I got a heads up after waiting there for 10 minutes. You will have to pay $25 more than groupon at times for your hair length. Upto shoulder is $30. So $55 is a standard price. For me, I will be coming back. Because she doesn't seem super commercial and schedules trimming every 3 months like my previous salon.
