I was a regular patient for almost two years during my choice of having my missing front tooth done it was estimated around 8K plus and more additional enhancement they thought it was needed. I agreed to this procedure even thought with hesitations. I put my trust in them for my other dental needs knowing i can trust them. Just a few days ago i went for an emergency tooth pain and came on time and as soon as i was seen by the doctor he just asked a few questions regarding my toothache & he suggested to have it pulled But Dental Manager gave me estimate of the procedure with the enhancement that i did not need but she kept on suggesting showed bill estimates of $1700 plus.... Instead of them taking care of me about my pain they were more about money making out of me. All I needed was to have my tooth pulled to relived from me from severe pain. They were more focus on how to add unnecessary treatment for a larger bill. I thought i was in good hand with this dental office, I was totally wrong. They are all very caring and go the extra mile in everything! Warm heated blankets, calming drinks if you have anxiety and even a real rose at the end of every visit. I have had to have a few teeth pulled so far and bone grafts prepping for implants and I was very scared. I did not feel any pain and Dr Tigran had to tell me in all 3 instances the teeth were out because I didn't even notice! These were molars and a wisdom tooth! I switched to this dentist 2-3 years ago and took advantage of their free whitening deal for new customers. Yey! I liked my hygienist, she did an amazing job cleaning, paid attention to details, gave me advice and was gentle with my teeth. Fast forward, I haven't been happy with my last two appointments. First the hygienist I liked left and am I not very happy with the new one, I don't feel that my current one pays attention to details and is rough on my teeth when cleaning. Second, there is always a different doctor, not the one I was seeing regularly in the first 1-2 years, who does the exam. I'd like to see the same doctor and have consistency. read more

The hygienist are so kind and it's a beautiful office. However I cannot recommend this place. The wait is long and I have been charged for procedures that I was not informed about. Though it was made right billing is hard to get hold of and it takes a lot of energy to make bills correct. Our family has been going here for a year now and two times I have had painful cleanings. I thought maybe it was me but the second time was as painful as the first cleaning. I highly recommend Smiling Heart - I have been coming here for a few years now and I always have a positive experience. They take care of you. They spoil you. They have a warm, homey, friendly environment. The front desk ladies are very welcoming and caring and very helpful! Their waiting room is cozy, with comfortable chairs (even a massage one), TV, and some chocolates and cookies! Jenny is my dental hygienist; she's absolutely wonderful as a human being and at her job. She's attentive and does a thorough job. Dr. Lorena is not an expert in restorative dentistry. She told me you couldn't get a perfect match on a front tooth anyway. The color was way off which she couldn't see. The permanent tooth the lab made was way too big. She said that it would make me look younger. Did not even understand the laser work that I'd had done between my front teeth to remove a gap. She hadn't noticed the difference in the work next to tooth 8. Told me to bring in my retainers to help the lab figure it out. Dr. Lorena does not have the education or expertise to be doing this kind of work. Artistry is also involved, and she doesn't have the eye for it. I don't mind paying the price, if the work is done correctly. I would have given her two stars for general dentistry, but Margaret interrupts you and talks over you; Lana has a big smirk on her face; and their attitude is belligerent, so I gave them one star. After moving to Washington, I came to Dr. Tigran for my 6 month checkup. Everyone who works at their office is nice and friendly and does a great job. However, I had an issue with Dr. Tigran's diagnosis of how many cavities he believed needed filling. He said I need ELEVEN (11) fillings. Long story short, he seems like a good dentist who does a thorough job, however he is definitely more aggressive than most dentists (especially when it comes to deciding to re-fill an existing filling). Plus, two different dentists disagreed with Tigran's findings, both agreeing that I only had 3 cavities that needed filling. I got a second opinion from another dentist that my friend recommended (Redmond Dental Care), and after doctor Sang Yum checked my mouth and the x-rays, he concluded I only needed 2-3 fillings. Dr. Tigran truly believed that I needed that many fillings though, so eventually I got a third opinion from another dentist, and that dentist similarly concluded that I only had 3 cavities that needed filling. Tigran convinced me to come back so that he could use the DIAGNOdent as another way to verify that I truly had eleven cavities. Previously he used bite wings, intra-oral camera, and another intra-oral camera that uses some technology to see through teeth or something. So Tigran tested all my teeth with the DIAGNOdent. He is truly very thorough and does precise work - he ensured teeth were dry and clean before testing, after occasionally wiping the DIAGNOdent sensor he re-calibrated it on a known good tooth, etc. He definitely does a good job, but his initial diagnosis was definitely over-zealous. The results of the DIAGNOdent showed that I had 6 cavities that had already reached the dentin and therefore needed filling (they had a 30 or higher rating on the DIAGNOdent). However a number of my molars already have composite fillings, which can cause the DIAGNOdent to falsely read high, so it's tough to tell whether those were accurate. Thus, according to the DIAGNOdent, Tigran's original recommendation included 5 unnecessary fillings - that's quite a bit. He himself said he was surprised that the DIAGNOdent didn't indicate more, he was sure that the tool was going to prove him correct. Some people might appreciate Tigran's style, but I prefer the more conservative approach, and considering two other dentists with 20+ years of experience disagreed with Tigran's diagnosis, I feel that people should be slightly weary of this office and potentially get second opinions. Tigran is a great person, but I won't be using him as my dentist. Thankfully my mom told me to get a second opinion and I avoided having a bunch of fillings that were not necessary according to two separate dentists. read more

I have been going here for 3+ years no problem. My husband also comes here. The staff are SUPER friendly, they always remember us and things we tell them. For example, one visit I mentioned my dogs and the next they asked me how my dogs were doing. As for dental care, I have not had any issues. They have filled cavities, replaced bond work, saved my husband from needing his wisdom teeth pulled and all around just given us good care. The staff are more than gracious and just generally nice people. Bonus? Prime Card discount! I like this place and always feel I am in good hands when I am here. It's a bit of a drive from Duvall so we have thought about switching to a more local dentist but if we do it will have nothing to do with our service of quality here. read more

I reconsidered, it was the issue with front-desk, but it is unfair to ignore all the good work the doctors and other staffs do in the past 10 years , Will see how it goes (Old post)Has been with them for more than 10 years. Saw them change office 2 times. Recently, I feel they are not care about the customers like before. I changed my insurance 1.5 year ago which support 3 teeth cleaning instead of 4(my previous insurance supported 4). In my experience, this kind of situation was handled pretty well. Because I don't know what treatment they will do so I expected to be notified before any treatment(including whether the insurance will cover, roughly how much will it be, etc). Couple weeks back, I got the 4th cleaning bill and my insurance refused to pay. I called them, the answer was "we knew some insurance support less than 4, but you still have to pay it all", "We have many customers we don't have time to track their insurance", "It is your responsibility to know your insurance", etc. So clearly, this means even if they know this is possible, they didn't want to check or gave me this info and ask me to check. And we also found an over charge in my wife's bill. Very disappointed. Time to find a new dentist. read more

I'm not (yet) a patient of Dr. T's but I love their office. A close friend needed an implant and the doctor his regular dentist (and close friend) recommended wasn't a good fit. I found this office by accident and brought my friend up from Burien. For nearly a year we've been coming to Dr. T's office to get all of his dental work taken care of. My friend has been excited to drive 30-45 minutes each way just to be treated by this Dr and his team. My own dentist is retiring soon and I'm going to switch my dental work to this office when that happens. The team at this office makes me feel like a welcome friend whenever I'm there and I'm not the one getting work done. Do not go here. I had a bridge replaced last year and ended up needing to have a root canal afterward due to the trauma caused from the procedure. I also have severe acid erosion which was never even mentioned to me by Dr. Tigran although I asked several times about possible treatments for why my teeth felt like they were chipping away. I have unsubscribed to all the email and texts but somehow keep receiving these. Find this to be a very bad way to try to gain business by harassing people. Really not sure how they got my information but will not stop sending me notifications no matter how hard I try to stop. If I receive one more of these- reporting to the BBB. But at some point, you get to a place where you HAVE to go to the dentist. It all starts at the door with Anna. She is lovely and kind and makes you feel like you're going to a dinner party instead of a dental office. She remembers your family and treats you like that, too. The staff are also friendly and helpful - and gentle! Dr. Tigran is patient and skilled and has a great "chair-side" manner. You can tell he really cares about what's going on in your mouth. In June 2014 I got an oral visit from my old dentist. Mr. A. He found a cavity (early stage) and some dark areas. No action was required at this time, just keep checking every 6 months to determine groth. I moved to Bellevue from Seattle, early 2015 and I decided to save commuting time and find another Dentist. I found Dr. Tigran's, and I visited his studio where I had a very depth checkup. He used 3d scanning, RGB cameras, bite wings for intra-oral camera, and another intra-oral camera that uses some technology to see through teeth for his Diagnosis. The Diagnose of Dr.Tigran was: 9 cavities for a total of 21 surfaces! The find surprised me! (from 1 to 9 cavity in less than 1 year, at 41 years old and without any pain in my mouth!) I decided to accept and start immediately the treatment. I got my first 1 (or 2) cavities cured the following week. By chance I found the YELP review of Dr. Tigran from mr. Andrew. (see below) Reading that, I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist. One week after I visited a dentist B in Bellevue. I got another oral radiography, 1h visit and the new Diagnose was: 1 cavity at early stage and 5 dark areas to keep under control and to re-check after 6 months! No action required now. My mouth was all right. I now have an issue with Dr. Tigran's diagnosis of how many cavities he believed needed filling. He wrote a treatment case for NINE (9) fillings with multiple surfaces involved. During my visit and the conversation, we had, he seems a very good dentist who does a thorough job, rely upon the latest technology, however he is definitely more aggressive than the other two dentists I visited. Having two different dentists disagreed with Tigran's findings (my previous dentist and my new one), and by reading the experience from other another customer here on YELP I decided to change my dentist. Tigran is a great person, but I won't be leverage his servings anymore. Thankfully, by reading reviews on Yelp I decided to get a second opinion and I avoided having a bunch of fillings that (I+other 2 dentists) believe were not necessary. read more
