Frank arrived as promised and did a thorough inspection of roof and interior. I've showed be damage I never knew was there and thanks to him he dealt with my insurance company which intern covered the damage that was visible and hidden. Interior wise also was reported and paid for thanks to Frank for working hard. As to repairs the workers arrived worked hard and completed my new roof within two days. Property was cleaned up and they did a wonderful job. Interior wise also the workers arrived at the time they stated. They went right to work and repaired 3 sealing and painted two others. The job was completed as stated and was done very professionally. I am very happy with the results and I would definitely use A1 Roofing again. Very Highly recommended. read more

I filed a claim a little later than most people in my area I noticed everyone had a sign in my subdivision with Franks name and the company A+Roofing. I started to ask my neighbors if they were happy with A+ and they all had good things to say. So I called and within a couple of days my claim was started. It was scheduled ahead of time and my insurance company cooperated. So my claim process began. The roof was replaced in one day. The debris was cleaned. The gutters were done the next day. I will continue to recommend A+Roofing to my family and neighbors and I will call them in the future. I appreciate all the help that Frank gave me throughout the entire process. Very bad company to deal with. The owner Ivan doesn't keep his promise. I asked this company for an estimate to repair a skylight. The first time, he failed to show up for an estimate he said it was due to the rain which I completed understood. The second time, he said he couldn't find my house!? The third time after giving him the "correct address" again, he showed up without even I was there. And he texted me and promised to give me an estimate soon. 5 business days had passed, I texted him on the status. The message completed went dead. Called the front desk, the reception had no clue either. With a F- rated service, how can you call yourself A+ roofing? read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!! Ivan is a storm chaser and a Crook. He should never be worked with ever!! He did work for my Mother-in-law starting about 2yrs ago when there was a massive hail storm in her neighborhood. He was one of many companies trolling the neighborhood who knocked on the door that day. He tried to get paid up front from the insurance. He would disappear for weeks or months on end and not respond to calls and continue to ask for more money without a proportionate amount of work being completed. He overcommits to work and subcontracts it out. You never know who you are going to get and when they might actually show up to do the work. It took me over a year of helping my mother-in-law manage Ivan by way of withholding money to get him to try and complete the project. A year for new roofing and new siding to be complete from the date of contract is absurd. The project was never 100% completed and ultimately we negotiated parting ways. If you would like to know more by all mean PM me and I will let you know anything you would like. I have worked with a lot of contractors and this guy was the most unprofessional company i have ever had the experience of crossing paths with. I would recommend anyone needing these services to look elsewhere unless you are looking for a full time job sending countless emails, leaving numerous voicemails, and project managing your own repair which will likely never get done. read more

Beware!!! These guys are way too eager to get customers to sign contracts and try name dropping to gain your trust. Then once you sign, they have it where they are the only ones to go through your insurance company -completely taking over with YOUR adjuster leaving you, the client, in the dark and unable to communicate at all with your own insurance adjuster or even able know what is being paid out and for what. Basically in their contract, you sign over ALL authority to A+ Roofing and by signing you make them your power of attorney leaving you with no control or real knowledge. They operate by skimming off a big percentage of what your insurance pays out and then they farm out jobs to other cheap sub-standard workers. Neighbors who have used them had warned me and then I also saw some horrendous complaints about these guys on here and other social media sites. Just beware of storm chasers!! Fortunately I was able to cancel my contract as the state law gives a few days (only 3 or 5 days) to cancel in writing. I was then able to hire a very reputable and transparent real roofing company to do the job. read more

I grew up in willow springs, right down the street from burr ridge where A+ is located. They have done most of the new roofs in my neighborhood, I know because we all gossip and I've seen the yard signs. Ivan's company did a great job of restoring our house and really made the whole neighborhood look a lot better! The fact that non of us paid any more than our deductible was just an added bonus since we all filled inssurance claims from storm damage which was all handled by A+ I would highly recommend Ivan and his company for you and your whole neighborhood! read more

I wish I could give this company no stars! They our con artists who milk insurance companies out of thousands of dollars then try to shortcut the work. They had their "electrician " come detach and reattach the power supply to our pool pump now the pump isn't working, the power outlets around the outside of the house aren't working! All this was working prior to them messing with it now they don't want to take responsibility for it! I'm livid with this company! They will not be getting the remainder of the insurance checks until my electrical is back in working order, I'll see them in court! read more

I signed a contract with A+/Plus Public Adjusters and A+ Roofing to replace my hail-damaged roof, gutters, downspouts. After an inspection and close scrutiny of their business practices, my initial respect for both the company and the adjuster went out the window. James did a great job in securing my home insurance to cover roof hail damage and the process went really quickly. The crew completed the job very efficiently and came on time both days. My house looks brand new again. Four skylights with solar powered blinds were also installed. We have had heavy rainfall and the roof and skylights held up really well with no leaks. The lifetime warranty is also transferable to the new owner when it's time to sell. I am very happy with the final results. read more

Dimitri came out the day after a big storm to assess the damage on our home. He got up on the roof and said we had broken shingles, holes from nails popping up, dips in the length of the roof and holes that from inside the attic you can see daylight. He also said we should claim damage that was done to our front porch, doors on the back porch and garage and the interior of the house. He said don't worry I know people at our insurance company and they'll work with him to get things fixed. He wanted us to sign a contract to get things started and to get a tarp on the roof. The contract that was emailed to us was gibberish and couldn't be read so we called and had them send another one but didn't get to it right away because we were busy and were trying to get other P.As to come out and look at the damage. Well the 3rd day Dimitri came out with another guy and he climbed up on the roof and said the damage wasn't as bad as previously thought and they didn't want the job. Bottom line is they wanted us to sign the contract and When we didn't do it fast enough for his liking they quit. He also didn't war a mask and claimed to be a Christian and doesn't cheat people. This company over promises and under delivers! I always thought it was supposed to be the other way around when it comes to customer service and word of mouth referrals! We hired them after a major hail storm to replace, roof, siding, gutters, downspouts and complete some upgrades to my home. Things started off fine with the roof work and it's been downhill ever since. I've had my home torn up for over 4 weeks and is sitting half completed with major issues! They sell products they don't know how to install and then just walk away from the job with their thumbs up their ass expecting me to find the proper installers! I mean, who promises a product and sells it to a customer without knowing someone who could install it! My house has been sitting for over 11 days with nothing done and no word on how they are going to rectify the situation! We have siding issues too! Our siding is bowing on 2 sides and they did not use fan fold under the shake siding which is also now wavy and looks like shit! They also just used roll flashing everywhere they could to cheap out on using the proper deck and roof to siding flashing pieces! There are other issues too! They had plenty of money in this job to do it right and cover the proper materials to be used! They will NOT get one more penny from us until the roof and siding portion is completed to our satisfaction! read more

We hired this roofing company based on their credentials at GAF and the alleged positive reviews. We hired them to repair our damaged siding due to the high winds we experienced recently. One man showed up for the repair work. $375 estimate for the repair work and performed under an hour. He did not use the necessary number of nails to secure the siding back to the house and he did not secure all the loose panels with the appropriate nails. The academy of vinyl siding states that the nails should be 16" apart on center and should be nailed at the Hamm and not from the outside surface of the vinyl siding which defeats the purpose of why we install a siding. We called and complained about the poor work performed and they stated that the work was signed off by us and done properly. If we experience any problems they would come back to fix it. The fact that we called them to complain about the work done should have been enough for them to do something and they chose not to. He broke every rule about the proper installation or repair of vinyl siding. We would never use this contractor again. read more
