We had some animal and significant wind damage (missing shingles) to the house roof. We worked with Lance and Eric from All Storm Solutions. Lance provided us with all the details on what needed to be done regarding a full tear off and re-shingle. He also worked with the insurance claims adjuster for us. Eric took care of many other things, including the getting the permit, and scheduling the work and inspection. The materials arrived the evening prior to the scheduled tear off, and any extra materials were picked up promptly the morning following the work, unlike other roof projects in my neighborhood where skids of shingles sit on driveways and lawns for extended periods of time. The work crew did an excellent job. The entire house was tarped during the tear off and shingle work. After wards they did a good job cleaning up the debris. Lance stopped by during the work to answer any questions we had, and to see if the work crew had any issues. The entire experience went very well. We were referred to All Storm Solutions, Inc. by our American Family Insurance team when we put in a claim for hail/storm damage done on our house. We ended up having roofing damage, gutters/downspouts damage, and one side fascia damage. All Storm Solution partners all did a fantastic job on our home. They even acquired all the necessary permits from your city so you don't have to worry about a thing. They had to tear off two layers of our roofing and checked all the boards underneath to make sure that there was no rot or broken board damage before putting on a new roof. The roof team worked very hard and it was an all day event. They did a great job in cleaning up after themselves including checking the grass areas for screws/metal/debris etc. and also covered up the opened garage door area and my small in-ground flower area so as to protect those areas as the work was being done. The gutter/downspouts team came a different day and did a great job as well - hand-cutting the size needed right there and taking off the old and putting on the new ones - doing a great clean-up job after. The fascia representative did a great job too. They discarded all the old stuff with ease so we didn't have to worry about it at the curb on garbage pick-up day. Their supply delivery company comes the day before the roof work is scheduled and delivers everything safely and professionally to the driveway. I asked if he would put the roof accessories, i.e. vents etc. in our garage verse leaving it outside overnight with the roof material and he was able to do so . They all worked great as a team and were very hard-working and did a great job. We were very happy and we highly recommend them to anyone in the area that is looking for work to be done after a storm or just to update your home. They are also licensed to do work in parts of WI if you have a home or cabin up that way. Ask for Eric in Sales - he was very professional and did a great job. Dave, his boss, called/emailed to schedule everything with me and we were happy with his service too. Lance was patient with me from the initial evaluation of the roof, etc., all the way through the stressful process of the major work that was done. All Storm Solutions, INC. REPLACEMENT WINDOWS We contracted All storm solutions for the replacement of all our windows in the house. After examining the sample windows (the small display window) they looked very well built. With pricing all storms came in the ballpark and after a conversation with them they offered the triple pane windows for next to nothing for the upgrade. Once a color was decided on the topic of screens came up. The manufacturer offered as standard a half screen (why would you only want a half screen if the windows open from the top and bottom) after going back and forward we found out we could get full screens, of course at an extra charge. We went with the full screen and informed them we would like the heavy duty screen due to having young Grandchildren, they love to poke. The windows were ordered and an install date was agreed upon, (this took a little bit of doing, I felt we were left out of the loop and too many calls had to be made) The day of install came and there was a little confusion as to the arrival time, eventually it worked out, once the windows were installed upon inspection of the screens we noticed the screens had holes in them, some the material was so loose it waved with the wind, the locking pins were the weakest cheapest thing I have ever seen, a do it yourselfer would take more pride then to use them. Oh and that heavy duty screen we ask for not going to happen. After contacting All storm, a couple of times it was agreed they would replace the screens, (too many phone calls got to the point we felt we were being ignored) however it would take a couple three weeks for the replacements to arrive. During the waiting time we did an inspection on the install and found some of the caulking had voids in it and some never made it to the edge. All storm was notified and informed us that it would be taken care of and that they couldn't understand how that could happen "after all we used 15 tubes of caulk" So long story short the new screens show up and you know it they are in the same condition poor quality, after going around and around again they had (or so they said) the screens re-screened sorry poor quality again, oh yah that heavy duty screen not going to happen. As for the caulking the installers said no problem we will just soak the caulk with gasoline and smooth it out. At that point we said that's it, just leave the screens we are done. Over the summer (2016) I decided to finally address several house issues. This included replacing a dilapidated roof, improving attic (soffit) ventilation, and chimney beautification. I used All Storm Solutions. The work was performed roughly over a two month period. Overall, Ivan, Eric, Lance, and Debi were all a delight to work with; they all were exceedingly professional, polite, and responsive to questions and concerns. In particular, Eric, who managed the whole project as Director of Sales, was prompt in returning calls and wielded a professional cordiality throughout. I'm less than thrilled, however, with the manner in which he dealt with issues stemming from the work (see below). I do want to thank Ivan for his expert craftsmanship and diagnostic skills. And now to account for the two(.5) star review: after the project was completed (which included a new roof, a refurbished chimney (much improved, thanks), and new soffits) I was left with a ceiling area in my garage that leaked water every time it rained. This was not the only problem, however. I was also left with a roof that had no proper vents for exhausting bathroom fans (they were vented prior to the work). Regarding the first issue, the leak, it's worth mentioning that before the new roof was installed (and the old one torn off) I drew Eric's attention to a section of the roof that I believed needed special attention because it had issues with ice dams in the past. Rains never gave it a problem, only some rare winter days when ice dams formed. After the work, however, it leaked at each rain. A 2x2ft (approx.) section of the ceiling in my garage was ruined. I called Eric...about two weeks later, and a number of rainy days in August, Ivan was out to fix it. He did. I wasn't charged and so far no more water has appeared. Thanks again Ivan! So I understand that issues like this are an inevitable part of the profession - it's just that I hoped to avoid being left with water intrusion and a ruined ceiling (drywall, not replaced) by directing attention to a historically problematic area beforehand. Homeowners, I will risk the wager, get new roofs to prevent/fix leaks, not to contend with new ones. Better communication among team members/listening to the client would have avoided this issue altogether. Regarding the second issue (bathroom ventilation)... When I brought the fact that I now had nowhere to vent my two mid-floor bathroom vents to Eric (I had noticed the venting issue when I checked the soffit work from inside the attic) I was essentially told that 1) I should have mentioned the need to vent bathroom exhausts to him at the outset, and 2) that it would cost me an additional $725 (approx.) to get the vents installed. Dare I make the bold claim that it is the assessor's duty to make a proper assessment of the roof prior to beginning work. This includes mulling over the current ventilation and ensuring that proper ventilation practices are followed during the new construction. There's nothing even vaguely unreasonable about this expectation. Yes, the task now requires more work - now having to retrofit proper vents - but it could have been easily avoided with a more comprehensive assessment, or even some basic questioning of the homeowner. . But somehow the onus was on me to bring bathroom exhaust ventilation to their attention. I'm sorry, this is unacceptable. I don't regularly work with roofs, attics, or house ventilation and thus don't have a complete knowledge of all the potential things to check off during the installation of a new roof. Again, this is why homeowner's consult professionals for proper assessment and subsequent work. If I was asked about where to direct bathroom exhausts before the work began (which I was not), I would have said, "Yeah, let's think about that. That seems important." Now I have another project to throw some money at (there's nothing like facing additional costs after spending thousands of dollars on a new roof and related work). In sum, based my experience with the company I would not recommend All Storm Solutions to others in need of the roofing, gutter, soffit, etc. services. This is a highly competitive field and others are more capable at getting it right the first time (and also make more of an effort to make it right in case they don't). read more

Our house (sidings, roofings and gutter) sustained significant damages from hail and wind earlier this year. We were approved by our insurance to fix our house. We did lots of research and read lots of reviews in order to find the right contractor to do the job. We interviewed 3 different contractors but none of them was able to convince us to sign contract with them until we found All Storm Solutions. We got to see their work on one of the neighbor's house before we signed with them. I'm one of those picky customers, so when I saw how well they did on the neighbor's house, I decided All Storm Solutions would be the right contractor to do the job for us. We dealt with Eric Petry from the beginning. He was very courteous, knowledgeable about the products and able to offer different options for the homeowner. Between signing the contract until the work started, it took about 3 weeks. There is another Eric in the office, he is from production and he had kept us informed with the schedules. They did the roof on 1st day, sidings and patio door on 2nd day and gutter on the 3rd day. Their works are excellent, very neat; I can't give enough compliments how well they installed the new roof/sidings/gutter. They even did the follow up for couple of times to make sure if there were things we were not satisfied and needed to be redone.
