That was definitely my last visit. At the end of my service Sunny told me how much I owed her. I paid using a credit card and a gift certificate. I was in the process of taking cash out of my wallet for a tip. I laid $5 on the counter and then she handed me the receipt to sign for the credit card. I stopped taking more cash out to sign the receipt. Of course, I was planning on giving her more than $5. I just stopped to sign the receipt. Sunny then said, "$5.....that's all you are going to give me?" And she proceeded to laugh. She made the comment several times. A TIP IS FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. IT IS NOT AN EXPECTATION. During my session I got sick out of no where and they moved me to a seat closer to the AC, engaged with me, gave me mints to calm my stomach and just overall wow. I didn't have an appointment but they took me as a walk-in. The staff were very welcoming and the spa was very clean inside. The jello pedicure is exactly how it sounds. I put my feet in jello!! It was so soft and squishy and it really made my feet feel good. A whole new spa pedicure experience. I enjoyed being asked during everything if the water temperature was okay and if everything else was okay. It's always nice to be checked on to make sure the client is comfortable. It stated on the card that it was good for one year, Today they took that card away from me and said they will not honor it any longer and gave me a card for 15% off. Their prices are very high $48 for a powder dip manicure, but I would pay for good quality service. Shame on you for issuing a discount card and then reneging on your own deal! Get it together Gee Nails or you'll be out of business soon. People don't like to feel like they're being taken advantage of... remember there's a Nail Salon on every corner!
