JNK Landscaping and Pools

A major landscaping project is among the most important upgrades to your property. Choosing the…read morebest landscaping company, comparing quality, timeliness of completion, and price can be a signifcant challenge as there are so many variables to handicap. We used JNK for a minor project two years ago, and Naji and the crew were superb: they showed up on time, worked diligently to finish the project in a professional manner, and brought a remarkable attention to detail to their work. Therefore, we chose them again for this much larger project, and I'm pleased to say they exceeded our expectations in every way. Naji arrived to discuss the project, and based on our conversations with him, was well-prepared to discuss options. He is a deeply knowledgeable person who is personable, professional, and truly customer-focused. The crew showed up right on time, and the point person on the job, Joaquin, explained the process of removing sod and dirt and installing the pavers--over 1,000 of them. They hand-measured and hand-cut the pavers that created the circular mesa around each tree--they look exquisite. It was a crew of seven, who were perfectly coordinated, worked well together, and hustled to get the job done in the promised timeframe--one day, which astonished my wife and me. Because the job required cutting a number of pavers there was quite a bit of brick dust. After completion, Joaquin used the hose to meticulously spray off all of our trees, shrubs, and all of the rock, to make it look pristine--that's going the extra mile! You can evaluate other companies, but if you want exceptional quality, attention to detail, honesty, and integrity, I recommend JNK without exception or qualification. Naji will take good care of you!

JNK just completed a total backyard re-landscape for us. Bottom line, would use again…read more Found them on Yelp - had great reviews, which I read very thoroughly and compared to other companies. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.

He is definitely more of an old school contractor, which for me is preferred. He is the one answering the calls, coming out for the bid and is leading the pours and finishes. For me dealing with so many contractors it's nice when you are not routed through dispatchers and given a 5 hour window for a bid. Travis was always on time for bids and the project and wasted no time getting right to it when he came on site. I had 4 other bids for concrete, and Travis was the most knowledgeable and attentive to details by far. He brought up potential issues that he had with my plan and state of the yard, which other contractors didn't mention and I was able to rectify them before he started work. Some people might find that frustrating but I find it a testament to the quality he is committed to leaving behind which is exceedingly rare with contract work. For the actual finished concrete: I'm in awe of the quality and consistency he laid. The concrete is so perfectly sloped, grated and mated against the house and old slabs that when I hose it off it just beads right off completely opposite the house. Cleaning this new concrete is going to be a breeze and I'm excited to enjoy it. I didn't expect the concrete itself to be the cornerstone in the yard, but it is truly a functioning work of art now. The photos attached are after 3 months and everything loo Value: His cost was very reasonable. He was not the cheapest bid but he was certainly not the most expensive. He even put extra material in his invoicing he wasn't sure he would need, and when he ended up not needing that material he removed it from the final bill. His portfolio was beyond everyone else in quality and I'm happy to add to it. He is now my go to concrete guy.
