I have used A Plus a few times before and was happy with the price and quality of service. However, on our most recent cleaning, the vanity top in our bathroom was cracked. I was called in more than halfway through the bathroom cleaning and shown the crack. I explained it had not been there prior to A Plus starting the job. I can understand that they may not have known they cracked the vanity top, but after I explained that it was fine in the morning the crew argued with me and then they contacted the owner, Willie. A bit later Willie came out and made a beeline for the bathroom and immediately proceeded to tell me how the crack had been there for a long time because he was an "expert" in ceramics. I told him I lived in the house for over 9 years and there had not been a crack until his crew showed up (and had already begun cleaning the bathroom). Instead of apologizing and offering to make it right he simply argued with me and tried to tell me that it was there all along...implying I was a liar. I had a cleaning crew of 3 ladies to clean my home ... 5 bed 3 baths... they deep cleaned in and out my cabinets in the kitchen cleaned the floors and fridge inside and out. I recommend this company and Jennifer who help me over the phone even after hours was her customer service and professionalism that won me to go with the company. Horrible customer service. After being a loyal customer for 5 years and referring dozens of friends to their services, I am moving on to another company and I suggest you do too. The actual cleaning staff is always great. What lost my business is the way the office staff treats their customers. There have been several occasions when they had to cancel on us at the last minute because one of their trucks broke down or other family emergency. This was never an issue for me and I gladly rescheduled. They do not reciprocate that understanding. Last night, my son got really sick and I immediately texted to let them know I had to reschedule (we had a 7:30 am appointment) because I knew we were in for a rough night. I didn't receive a response, so I called and no one answered. I texted again this morning to confirm my cancelation, and still no answer. The ladies came by at 7:30 (great gals) because they didn't know about my request. When one of them spoke to the owner on the phone, I could hear the owner yell the f-word. Then, I guess he handed his phone to his wife who asked to speak to me. She proceeded to get VERY nasty with me. I explained that my son was ill and that I had texted and called the night before to reschedule. She made it clear that she didn't care and proceeded to lecture me. The lack of empathy was startling enough, but the scolding was too much. I apologized to the girls at my door and they went on their way. I'm sad to say that, although I was shaken, I was not surprised: this was not the first time the office staff had gotten rude, nor was it the last. I called Willie, the owner, and let him know how I felt about the way I was treated, and he did apologize.....ish. I believe it was "fine, I'm sorry, BUT..." and then he continued to tell me about his bottom line and business. He continually repeated "what do you want?" in an unpleasant tone. I explained that I was only calling because I thought I should share my disappointment directly with him before I wrote reviews online. I simply wanted him to know that the way I was treated was not professional and that I was really upset. He said I was taking it personally. He's right. I expect the company I invite into my home to have a mission that extends beyond the bottom line, especially after 5 years of loyalty. I expected a little compassion. I understand that ultimately it is a business, but from a customer's perspective, a little empathy and restraint from chastising goes a long way. You can run a successful business and still care about your customers. I've always been kind and compassionate towards them. I genuinely cared when Sheryl broke her leg years ago. I was concerned when they had to cancel because their truck broke down. I wanted their success! I'm a nice person who typically gets treated nicely in return. You topically get what you give, right? Not with these two. (Actually, mane that three because Traci can also be a mean one.) This morning, I SHOULD have heard: "I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I know what those nights are like, I'm sure you're exhausted. Let's reschedule when you've had some rest, and I won't charge you the $25 rescheduling fee this time, but keep that in mind for your future cancellations." That would have achieved their objective and kept a loyal customer. Instead, I will make it a point to let my friends, family, and the public know what they can expect from doing business with them. Being called "ridiculous" and scolded is never the way a customer should be treated. There are MANY other cleaning services available. Do yourself a favor and skip "A Plus". Very deceiving name. The ONLY reason I am giving them 1 star, is because it's required in order to post a review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are VERY unprofessional! Where do I begin..?! So we orginally hired them to clean our windows, (which in all fairness, they didn't do too bad of a job) HOWEVER I caught one of the workers, going through my things in our master bedroom. He was like a deer in headlights, and first tried to say that a bird flew in through the window, and then he said it was a mouse and he was looking for it.. Needless to say, there was nothing in our house! He just got caught red handed. Then one of thier workers, forgot to turn off the hose after they left, he just turned off the nozzle at the top of the hose, which resulted in wasting water, as well as almost bursting our hose!! (we didnt catch it untill 11pm at night, and they left around 12 noon!) After speaking to the company about it, they assured me that he would be fired.(Now I wonder if he even was) So then, we get a price for re-screening our windows and power washing our house, when it comes time for the bill, and after we had the manager Willie, on camera (we have a nest in our home) quoting us a price, he then later changed the price and said bc a certain window was bigger or something, that we were being charged extra. (which he never told us before) After I complained, he apologized for the misunderstanding and said he would credit us that money when he brought our two screens back, (that they forgot to screen).... after the weekend goes by, he changed his mind, and came up with ridiculous reasons why he was not going to credit us the money. He ended up leaving us with two screenless windows, (2 we use often!) in our kitchen and master bedroom... he cowardly left a check for $15 (which should've been $50) and left a note saying that he would not be back, and that's all he was going to credit us. He rose his voice to me on the phone, (which was very upsetting, as well as I'm pregnant an didn't need the extra stress) and so I rose my voice back, and he said bc I yelled back at him, he didnt want to speak to us in person. So instead he ripped us off by cowardly leaving a joke of a check for $15 in our door. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

I would not recommend this company. They claim they guarantee their work "100%" and that they "don't cut corners-we clean them", but I experienced just the opposite. There were three cleaners, so there should not have been an issue. They were friendly, but did not clean as thoroughly as I would have liked. I had to ask them many times to re-clean and re-vacuum some areas. When I informed the manager that I was not satisfied, he began rationalizing and said it's "almost impossible" to thoroughly clean it the first time and they cannot guarntee the first time cleaning "100%". Uh, isn't that what they advertise? I've had other people clean this house very thoroughly the first time. I have used this service in the past and been impressed, but this time was a let down. I don't use weekly or monthly cleaning due to having an irregular schedule, but hire a " spring cleaning" which is 3 cleaners deep cleaning up to 2500 square feet about every 3 months. This cost 135.00, I usually leave 150 because in the past they have worked really hard. This time they were scheduled to arrive between 3-4, showed up at 4:30. They finished by 6:30, and I was disappointed by several things. The baseboards were not cleaned, tile seemed swept but not mopped, pictures not dusted. The biggest thing was many dishes were shoved in the dishwasher in a completely unrealistic fashion- it was clearly intended to get things out of site rather than clean, which made me question the entire job. Had I run the dishwasher without looking I would have lost hundreds of dollars in stemware that were left in a pile inside. I expect more of a deep clean than wipe counters, vacuum, and clean bathrooms. Not sure I'll use this service again read more

I was APluse customer for more then five year. The least few times that they did my house I wasn't impressed I didn't complain I stilled used them but four weeks ago they accused me of following them around the house. That makes me laugh it is my house I can do whatever I want around the house. I wasn't following them I was very nice to these ppl and offer them water and actually I give the ladies water i even told them I will be in the office let me know if they need anything. I have used the service at A Plus Cleaning Service for almost a year an a half for once a month cleaning. My husband and I work extensive hours and needed to have someone to come in and do deep cleaning toilets bathtubs vacuum and clean the hardwood floors. Work got less and less and the visits carried on. I can honestly say they have NEVER been on time and change the date each month with my repeated request to have it the last week of the month I constantly received text messages to have the cleaning done at an earlier date in the month. Through out the year and a half several thing were damaged in my home by pure carelessness. Never once did I receive an apology from the Owner Sheryl. I was constantly receiving messages from a multitude of phone numbers never the same number or the number listed under their business. I had a cleaning done last Friday 6/29/2016 this was the straw that broke the camels back... I was told they would arrive by 11:00 AM I then got a text message again from a random number stating they were running late and it would be more like 2:30 or after. My security cameras showed they got there at 2:50. I got home at 4:15 and this is what I found: None of the bathtubs and or showers clean Floors not moped/ lightly swept but not clean Counter tops not wiped down Bird seed still on my table underneath the tv No dusting Beds not made as they have done in the past Dust in the corners cupboard with glass front not windexed TV not wiped down I could go one but I am sure the pint is distributed. I immediately walked through the house taking photos to send to the owner and plead my case of disappointment. I then text the multiple phone numbers I had attempting to get a hold of the owner Sheryl after about an hour and many text later she finally replied... The back and forth conversation about the job not done carried on and I made a statement I should only pay half the fee since less then half the work was done. At any point sis she apologize for the inconvenience or the bad job that had been done. All she said is that she would have her husband Willie check with the crew. Clarified via phone conversation not text that I would pay for half the service and my original check would not be deposited. I had such a bad feeling (especially with the unprofessional-ism) I put a stop payment on my 135.00 check. A few days later sure enough the attempt was to cash my check. I got a disturbing message via text from yet another phone number from her husband Willie. Proceeding to tell me what a bad person I am and no one works for free and so on and so on. I re capped on the conversation I had with his wife and stated the work was not done. They attempted to come back and re do the work that should have already been done, at that point my husband said they are not to come back in our home and leave it as it is. I then proceeded to send photos of the non satisfactory work to Willie hoping we could still come to a resolution, instead I get the most sarcastic message that he is not interested in purchasing my home to stop sending him photos.... (WOW really that is professional), at this point I was still willing to send the payment or pay via pay pal for half the job as Sheryl his wife and I agreed even though I didn't feel it was even worth half the payment. The next message I got was that is fine you will hear from my attorney. My reply was FANTASTIC as I have saved each and every message between your wife and I along with the harsh unprofessional messages from him and I . If you want half shady work non efficient effort a company that is NEVER on time or consistent with extremely unprofessional work ethics then this is the company for you. Just be ware of your things as they will get damaged and broken the "owner" or his wife will not give a care or have any seance of care. read more

I definitely do not recommend them at all!!!First they told me when they were done that it would take 2 hours to dry, but it was not dry until the following day which was over a 24hr period. They also told me that they have a 30 day guarantee ,which is any stains come back that they would come back and honor to retouch up the spots. I called them 3 weeks into it and left a message regarding if some one could call back to schedule appointment to have it retouch up because some of the stains were coming back. No one ever return my call. Called again and left another message two days later, and never returned my call. The third time I called again and I finally got some one on the phone and explained my situation on no one returning my calls. They told me to contact this guy name Willie. So I gave him a call, and left a message. It took three days for him to return my call. Finally he called and I told him the situation and he said to take pictures of the stains and send it to me over the phone. So I did, he then responded through text: " saying that he would not guarantee the 30days because I waited until the last minute and he said I was just trying to get a free carpet cleaning again. " Wow after I told him that I left 3 messages. He also said that the stains were from my pet, which they were not even from my pet. He was so RUDE, and UNPROFESSIONAL through text, did not even to bother to call me to talk to me over the phone. Through his text he QUOTED- He said....... " Do what ever you want I dont care" ....
