Two words: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My friend and I in our extensive research for eateries while on our Europe trip found A Noste in one of those lists that state "best places." I'm SO GLAD that we ended up coming here! We were on a tight schedule in Paris on the day we had anticipated eating here. It was cold, we walked far from the station using Google Maps, we were like "where the heck are we?" BUT IT WAS WORTH IT ALL! Coming from Hawaii, we don't have many options to experience true tapas. Now, I don't know if that's what this is, but it has definitely opened the door for me and now I want to try tapas everywhere. My recommendation is to go with multiple people so you can try various dishes! Our party just kept ordering more and more until we practically rolled out of the joint. Highly recommend.

This was a nice spontaneous spot to have our lunch. We didn't realize that we'd come across a nice French tapas bar with probably higher end options than we'd expected. The watermelon feta salad was pretty decent. The foie gras falafel was really tasty. It's a little difficult to eat because the ball falls apart with a fork poke, but very delicious, you can taste the creamy bits of foie gras in there. The salmon plate was also really tasty with the cole slaw. Very nice atmosphere, quality food.

Morel and marrow risotto in bones! So tasty! The other food, good, but not what was expected.

I really like the concept of this restaurant, and I did have a most wonderful risotto, but there were a couple things that made it 3 stars and not higher. The atmosphere is great with a fun decor. The clientele is not American despite the great write-up in Eater. Service was good but overworked for a full restaurant so you don't get the attention you might need. The part that made the dining experience difficult was that the menu said the ingredients in the product, but didn't fully capture what the items were. For example, we thought crispy polenta would have been seared polenta cakes and not deep fried polenta. Another example is a white asparagus and potato "tortilla" which ended up being a kind of minimal egg frittata type thing. Had the menu better explained the dishes, I think this could've been a 5 star dinner. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

Poor bland potato tortilla

This is this kind of place that has somewhat good reviews, a good location and is nicely decorated BUT lacks of warmness. I plan to come for a long time to have dinner and enjoy this place and ended up being seated at the bar (the restaurant wasn't full at all) at the far end of the room and close to the guy that does the dishes (with the noise and all). I felt like I have been secluded or punished for no reason. From this perspective, I couldn't enjoy the place. (Why didn't they even ask if it was fine with me?? No basic wait staff skills) The lady at the bar didn't explained the menu and were not so enthusiastic to give me some additional information about the dishes. This is when I wanted to stand up and leave. But then I thought to myself maybe the food is totally worth it so let's stay longer in this painful situation. Didn't know what to order so i took the tortilla (10€) thinking it was a safe bet, but it was bland and topped with a swirl of a supermarket's salad dressing sauce. It was a game over for me. I have tried tons of tapas places and this is not a memorable one. The tapas's size and cost are over estimated and don't allow to order more than 1 or 2. (Concept of tapas is small plates to share not full plates) The prices are quite high for what it is. Anyway, I won't have to try it again because once was enough.

BBQ chicken - interesting presentation but very small portion.

I came here for lunch with my sister based on the review on Google and Yelp, but I regret to say that we were both a bit disappointed. My sister The decoration and ambiance is interesting and different from the usual French bistro or restaurant, which is somehow refreshing. The service itself is average, in terms of speed, friendliness and attentiveness, nothing particular to complain. What was disappointing was the dish, we were here for a quick lunch, we ordered BBQ chicken and scallop, the presentation of the dish is interesting, but the portion is tiny....which would have been fine is the taste was exceptional, but it wasn't the case. The scallop was tiny and cooked too dry...even a bit burned, the chicken didn't have much taste to it without the BBQ dipping source. I'd come here for atmosphere but not for food.

This review is for La Table, the course service dinner. We came here having no idea what to expect as it was a recommendation from the hotel and it completely blew us away. The service was outstanding and they were very accommodating to the fact that we couldn't speak French. A local gastronomical show was filming while we were there and while it wasn't disruptive or a problem at all, they offered us free glasses of wine as well as a taste of what the people on the show were eating. Our 5 course meal was delicious and you could tell how passionate the chef is about this restaurant and his craft through each dish. Would definitely return and highly recommend!

A.noste... I could I just say go don't think try you won't be disappointed because honestly, this is the case! No disappointed , the reviews are already saying it all! It's a really good tapas bar and for sure I will go again!!!! The tapas are a really good size to share and really original. We had prawns salmon tomatoes and 2 more tapas and the dessert! OMG! Passion fruit creme brûlée and the vanilla Chou with salted caramel no words! We were two had a glass of wine and paid 33 euros each! Honestly good quality and quantity food for the price And I have said it already but have to say it again: I would definitely go back!!!

We had the fortune of meeting a friend here that has been going to the other branch for 40 years and he swears by its authenticity. We started off with Kir Royales which is the quintessential pre meal beverage. And then moved on to mains as appetizers are not necessary given the portions. Their cassoulet was incredible with real stick to your ribs appeal. However I feel the star of the show was their 5 diamond salade. Imagine a bed of greens supporting their duck fat potatoes fried crisp, topped with generous portions of lardons and chicken livers. All garnished with mini rounds of cheese on toast and a fried egg! What is not to like? The decor is classic diner, nothing fancy it it is all about the food. Service was friendly and not intrusive.

We found the service quite friendly unlike what I was expecting after the reading of some of the Yelp review. Our server was super friendly even with my lack of the French language. I just showed him my Google translator to help when I ordered or needed an item. He did offer me a wine recommendation to accommodate my basque chicken meal that I did enjoy. My chicken was tender and fell off the bone. I would have liked a bit more meat in my dish. It came with a thigh and a small wing. For the price of 14 EUR, I would have like at least two thigh or a small chicken breast. Food was good not sure if it's something I would go back for. Desserts were a nice closer to the meal. Overall the vibe and service was a 4 star rating but food wise I would give it a 3.

Since it's a small dining room, you also get a view of the Chef and his team in action. We started with the roasted octopus and for les plats my mom had the roasted veal sweetbread and I had the duck breast. The duck was cooked to perfection - tender and flavorful with a hint of smokiness. The sweetbread was delicious! It was crispy on the outside but the inside was tender. A side of purée de pommes de terre comes with each dish. For dessert, I opted to satisfy my chocolate craving with the chocolat blanc et noir (white and dark chocolate mousse). My mom wanted fruit so she had the cremeux de citron, fraise ananas et passion. Our server was great as was the entire team. Definitely make a reservation as it fills up quickly, This is definitely on my list of places to return to on my next visit to Paris.
