Many others did as well but Josh was the only one who offered to come out that day and address (Sunday). Josh arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it. He even had me simulate what caused the issue and looked over the other breakers. Ultimately, he determined we had a failing breaker and got us up and running Sunday until he could replace the problem breaker with a new one on Monday. I initially reached out for a refrigerator water line install and dishwasher water line install as well as a quote on new pipe hangers and shower, toilet, and sink install which I told the receptionist when booking . I asked the receptionist since I did not have kitchen cabinets and sink installed yet if the water line for dishwasher could be done or if I needed to wait and was told it wasn't an issue. Fast forward and plumber came out put in a line for refrigerator and said dishwasher couldn't be installed until sink was installed. I was charged over $300 for work and never received a quote for other work. After calling back twice inquiring , I finally got called back to say I was too far away for big jobs.

He then said he would give me a discount and make it $2,100. I told him I couldn't do that either and he said, "how about $1,000, or how much can you do now?" I told him I would have to think about it and he said he would look for a used motor that would be cheaper and he would call me back with a quote the next day. He never called back. Today I had an independent service fix it and it ended up costing me $740. *

Less than two minutes later we got a call from T Byrd's asking for confirmation that we needed their services. Within five minutes from this call, our service tech Dave texted us to confirm an appointment window the next day. We we already super impressed. Dave texted the next morning and said his first job ended early and would we like him to arrive sooner than his appointment window. Yes! Again, impressed. Dave arrived and was courteous and professional. He did a walk through in the house and pointed out tips and tricks with our floor registers and the main return vent. He then went to work on our heat pump in the crawl space. He showed us how dirty the air blower was and cleaned it. He also showed us how much debris was in the bottom of the compressor that he also cleaned out. We needed a couple of new parts and he educated us on what they did and how the motors on both units work and how have to work harder when dirt and debris impede air flow. We got a reasonable quote for duct cleaning in the near future. After Dave was done we could notice an increase in force of heated air coming out of the registers from the heat pump. The previous owners occupied the house the previous 10years and it seems doubtful they did any HVAC maintenance during that time. That's probably a big reason why the heat pump needed some new parts. We highly recommend you call T Byrd for speedy, courteous and friendly service at reasonable price! Certainly ask for Dave! He also went beyond expectations with his HVAC explanations. You'll be glad you called.

The owner also was having an affair with a former employee and camped out all day with her during Covid while we worked hard in attics and crawl spaces. Bad business!!!
