At the same time, water started dripping from my first floor ceiling. We called Cress Brothers. They did arrive promptly, but proceeded to do...well, nothing to help. They ran some water through the line and said the problem "fixed itself" and that the line was clear. We asked why there was water dripping from the ceiling and the guy just shrugged. Not exactly reassuring. We paid our $75 and the guy left. 20 minutes later, we ran the dishwasher and it began spilling all over the floor! I immediately called the company back, and they said they would call their guy to set up a time to come out. Hours later, still no phone call. After calling two more times, they finally had him return my phone call. He actually seemed reluctant to come out! Told me that the dishwasher was probably a separate issue. I insisted that he can return, and he set up a time for later that day. No apology for not getting back to me, no apology for the ongoing problem. In the end, I decided to cancel the appointment and go with another company. I'm happy to say that the other company came out, assessed the situation, explained it clearly, and fixed it within an hour or two. For the record, the line was still very clogged and the problem had not fixed itself. I asked the company to contact me since I know I deserved a refund. Of course they didn't bother to do that. So here's my honest review instead. So if you like a company that takes your money, doesn't fix your plumbing problem, and doesn't respond to phone calls, these are your guys! The system installed discharged water into our encapsulated crawl space, causing puddling and potential damage. 4. Sustainable Plumbing returned to our property several times attempting to fix their mistakes, but the issues persisted. 5. We were overbilled for services and charged repeatedly for repairs that should have been covered by warranty. 6. The owner of Sustainable Plumbing agreed during a phone call with me and my wife to issue a full refund for the project. 7. The company has now backtracked on this agreement and refuses to pay the refund. 8. We are unsure if proper permits were ever pulled for this job. 9. A licensed plumber from Morris-Jenkins has inspected the work and will issue a letter confirming that the work was substandard and not up to code. 10. We have documentation, including pictures and written evaluations from Morris- Jenkins, that will be submitted with this complaint.
