They left me without gas or hot water for 4 days! Thomas couldn't figure out what the problem was even though Atmos labeled all the leaks. He cut a hole in my wall and left! He said I needed "parts" but the warehouse was already closed. I called the office multiple times to get an update, cost of repairs etc and kept being told someone would call me back. I called another company who said that a permit was never pulled for my house and it has to be done when Atmos cuts you off, new company came out had me fixed within a hour because I didn't need "parts",the city inspector came out the same day too. After my repairs were completed by another company I got a quote from Hawkeye for 3 times the amount it actually cost to get fix! Be aware and stay away from this place. Update he has now increased my amount due for the second time and called Fort Worth to try and press theft charges against me. Truly a horrible company and human. Stay away!

Can someone please tell me why 15 minutes of work and no troubleshooting cost them $450???!!! That is a complete ripoff! I don't know about y'all but I feel like my parents were completely taken advantage of! I work in construction and remodeling. I know the cost of materials and what it takes to get the job done. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby to help them. It scares me that there are people out there like this that are willing to screw the elderly out of their grocery money. All the reviews given by my neighbors on these guys were superb and I decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. They are family oriented and very friendly. I had them come and give an estimate on a pipe damage that a utility company had done working on back yard and they did a thorough estimate. I also had them come back to replace 2 of my outdoor faucets that were leaking and they were thorough in fixing these at a reasonable cost compared to all the other plumbers who have come by to give estimates. I'll definitely recommend them and call them back should I have any plumbing needs!

Ft Worth Ship and Mail has been around for 28 years and has a stellar business reputation for being fair and good customer service. The office lady tells me they CANT WAIT and hands the phone over to Raymond, the owner. He continues about getting paid and not min 2 hours but NOW. My invoice, totalling $275, reflects a $225 bill for everything BUT parts: Remove tubing and cleaning a blocked line with an overflow problem that says 1 per hour at $225. Below had labor at 1/2 for $50. I asked Raymond to help me understand the math but, because he was not in front of the invoice, he could NOT EXPLAIN IT. He goes on to lecture me about the lien they will put on me and my business if I don't comply and PAY NOW. I reluctantly paid them but will not use this outfit again even for free. For the 2 hours I asked for, I hope this negative posts cost them this in spades on how NOT to Treat Customers. Unless you want demanding phone calls, stay away from this guy Raymond and his Russell Plumbing. What loneliness is more lonely than distrust.

They were scheduled to arrive between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, but they didn't show up until the very end of that window. Once they finally assessed the job, they immediately tried to tack on an additional $150, citing issues with my pipes and hinting that the total cost could easily rise even further. To make matters worse, they claimed they were completely unable to open the water meter cover, insisting that I would have to call the city to handle it. They even went as far as to claim they had tried everything, including prying it open with a crowbar. However, shortly after they left, my son arrived home, walked out to the meter, and opened it by hand with absolutely no effort. I decided to check my home security cameras, and the footage confirmed that they never even attempted to open the meter as they had claimed. It really felt like they simply didn't want to perform the work they had committed to, so they made up excuses to avoid it. I ended up hiring another plumbing company the very next day, and they were able to complete the entire project--including the additional pipe work and even cutting into the wall--for a total of just $400. The second company was transparent, efficient, and professional. I admit that I neglected to officially cancel my follow-up appointment with Jerrell's, but given how the initial situation was handled and the dishonesty regarding the water meter, I honestly didn't believe they would even show up again. I cannot recommend Jerrell's Plumbing Service based on this clear lack of transparency and professionalism, and I would advise others to look elsewhere for their plumbing needs.

The reason why I chose them is because they were the only plumbers to actually answer my questions. I know we are all very busy, and people using Thumbtack to get business usually get a lot of inquiries all day long. I asked several companies what the cost would be to fix the faucet, and/or replace it. Everyone else replied with their standard $50/$99 visit fee, but Artex was the only one to actually answer the question. $99 to fix, $199 to replace. Fine! Great! Simple enough! Had them come out the next morning, which was awesome. I was supposed to receive text messages letting me know the guy was on his way, but that did not happen. I also usually get other text message follow ups from places like this, which I also did not get. It's possible they did not have my cell number right, which is just as well. It's not like I wasn't here anyhow! Guy repaired the thing in less than half and hour. Works like a charm! No more leak! No more damp soil all along that side of the house! Yay! With no money tree in the back yard I waited through the summer without gas to the dryer, stove, hot water heater and AC because a retired teacher has a very small retirement income. This company came to my rescue after multiple other calls not returned and three other bids. Hard Times was prompt, courteous and had all the work done and approved in two days with a price retired teachers can pay when their state check comes in. I will call them again when needed thankful for their gracious manners and workmanship. Folks, they're Christians and act like it.
