Brian is fantastic, I found him while looking for a new mechanic to do some basic tune-up work on my car.

I took my Land Cruiser in before Thanksgiving because my headlights were flickering and going out…read more Robert called me and told me that my radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced. He replaced it and said that he will need to rewire my headlights bc everything was wet from the leak. He told me all this could be done in a day, so I dropped my car off at 8am. Around 4 I called to check in and he said they were just now getting around to looking at my headlights..... He kept my car for a few days and finally when I went to get it my right headlight was fixed but my left one was not. I texted Robert that it was still flickering and without even needing to look at it he said he will order a part and let me know when it gets in after Thanksgiving. I believe he said the part was a relay, but not sure bc he doesn't write any itemized receipts for customers. He also charged me an extra $100 for new light bulbs without my consent. I took my car back last week for them to install the part and paid $245 for it. it didn't fix it... it's like they didn't even try bc if they did they would have turned on my headlights and seen it was flickering... honestly my fault for not checking at the shop. A nice man from my apartment building works on European cars and offered to look at it. He figured out the problem in 10min. Ordered me a part and fixed it in my parking garage lol All that to say, I'm very disappointed in this shop.

Knapp is truly the only mechanic we trust. After Pep Boys told us a certain part had to be replaced…read morebecause of a sensor issue, we went to Knapp for a second opinion and thank goodness we did. They figured out the part didn't need replacing at all, it just needed to be cleaned. They saved us a ton of money. That honesty alone earned our long-term business. We've taken our older car there a few times now, and every single time I brace myself for a big bill but every single time the price ends up being way more reasonable than expected. They're upfront, honest, and always quick with repairs. If you're looking for a trustworthy, fair, and reliable mechanic, I highly recommend Knapp. They've been amazing every time.

A friend recommended this shop to me. So, took my baby (Jeep Renegade; std transmission; ~8yrs old)…read morein twice as planned - for BIG items and oil changes. Finally, a shop that helps me plan/ budget. See reasons why they are now "my place" 1. Got my vehicle back from two planned services - BIG items. The identified problems were FIXED and NO unexpected new issues over the past ~6 mths drive time since the 1st repair was done and ~2 wk since 2nd repair done (but lots of mile - couple of road trips, lol). 2. Their bumper-to-bumper inspection is detailed in a an online report (pics; vids; descriptions). It identifies critical issues (fix now); concerns (fix to prevent bigger issues); consider (future items). The report helped me to plan/ budget the repairs. 3. After asking for the full report, they provided even though they knew I might have sticker shock which I did. They patiently walked me through and answered my many questions via the phone, and let me take time to decide on options: keep/invest or trade in. The report allowed me to consider new vehicle (prices/longterm commitment) vs. the one-time fixes. With a shop that truly fixes the problem and no unexpected new problems, am keeping my baby; well that and she is fun to drive, lol. 4. The online report/ front office staff (Connor; Averie) are able to keep up with my extremely busy work schedule; are genuinely professionally patient with a non-mechanical person (me); if they didnt know the answers they asked the mechanics and got back to me quickly which provided insights on the repair options and then let me decide what works for me/ my budget/ my future plans. ...Again, this shop is now "my place".

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can…read moremake an informed decision. We brought our BMW to Integrity 1st Automotive on Belmont in Lakewood because it was idling rough and showing drivetrain malfunction warnings after rodents had chewed some wiring (which had already been professionally repaired before we arrived). After dropping the car off, communication was very slow and we had to repeatedly call for updates. After a few days, we were told the vehicle needed spark plugs, an ignition coil, and an induction service. When that didn't fix the issue, we were told to replace the turbocharger boost sensor, then the mass air flow sensor. After spending $1,409, the car was still doing the exact same thing as when we brought it in. Near the end of the process, the shop found a hole in the intake tubing and wanted to charge $600 to repair it. While they did agree to split that cost, it added to our frustration because it felt like the real problem was never clearly diagnosed from the start. We were even told to "drive it through the weekend and see if it works," which did not inspire confidence. To make matters worse, when we picked the car up we discovered the windshield washer tubing had been broken off, something that worked fine before the visit. We also noticed new rattling/chattering noises under the hood as if it wasn't properly put back together. At this point, we are left with an unreliable vehicle, a large bill, and the original problem unresolved. This experience did not reflect the level of integrity the company name promises, and we felt frustrated and taken advantage of throughout the process. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve diagnostic practices, communication, and quality control so other customers don't have the same experience we did. Lastly, I received an email from the Vice President, Andrew Wheeler, checking in a week after we got our car back. Basically checking in to see how the car was running. I wrote him back a lengthy email listing all that had happened and asking for them to make it right. I never heard back. I also called and left a message. Never heard back. Think twice before taking your car to Integrity 1st in Lakewood.

Entire team went above and beyond and this is our new go-to spot for all auto needs going forward! Have already recommended this spot to close friends and family. Thanks again
