Staff is very minimal since they are trying to bring more customers to this location. OK here's the ILoveKickboxing class review: The trainers were very attentive, push you to the limits. Love the energy. The class consist in 15 minute hard core cardio (running , jumping, push ups, sit ups, etc), Then about 10 minutes of stretching, catching your breath and sweat all of it out. Then another 25-30 minutes of punching , kicking. Make sure to bring a small towel and water, I guarantee you'll sweat a lot, You will be Barefoot and wear comfortable activewear.

I took a 60-minute class and it was both great and challenging. The format included about an 8-minute warmup, ten boxing rounds, and finished with abs and stretching. The instructor was excellent, high energy, motivating, and consistently encouraging proper form. I look forward to going back. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tough, fun, and well-structured boxing workout.

Sometimes they don't answer the phones but they do call you back or email within a day. I think that was the only hard part in making a first time reservation. The first twenty minutes consist of jogging, lunges, burpees, push ups, sit ups and basically anything high intensity. Then a five minute stretch and then the rest of the class is kickboxing. We use the bag for a bit and before each routine the instructors gives a breakdown on how to do each punch/kick properly. The last part of class is partner work. The classes start very promptly and end on time. Overall, it's a very fun way to exercise and all the instructors are great!

We spoke briefly and agreed on a time for a training session. He told me he would text or email me to confirm the appointment, but I never received any communication. When I saw him the following business day, he asked what had happened. I explained that I had been waiting for his confirmation. I chose to let the matter go and assumed it was simply a misunderstanding. The second time, we agreed on a specific training time, and he did email me to confirm the appointment. However, when I arrived the next day, I waited for nearly 30 minutes. I asked the front desk to contact him, and I was told he would arrive in approximately 15 minutes. He never showed up. I then requested to speak with a manager and was directed to R******. He apologized for the situation but also stated that, because it is the gym policy, the payment was nonrefundable. Although he offered to conduct the training session himself, by that point I was no longer interested. I was also told that if this issue were reported to his supervisor, I would not receive a refund. That left me with the impression that there was little interest in escalating or resolving my complaint, which was disappointing. I am sharing my experience so that others know what I encountered. While some employees at this location have been courteous and respectful of customers' time, I believe management needs improvement in management's handling of scheduling issues, customer concerns, and service recovery.

He said Apollo creed is the best creation of everything you want in a champion (rest in paradise Carl weathers). After relocating to Long Island from Bayonne NJ, I found Kayo boxing gym in west Hempstead ny. Who I found was the fighting pride of Long Island Mr. Michael Corleone who has decades and decades of experience and within 2 seconds of talking to him you know this man ate punches for a living. The exact person you want in your corner going to battle, someone who has seen it all and taken it all, willing to fight and plod through fire taking 12 shots to deliver that 1. Classes are great usually ran by the dashing Mrs. Corleone and include all skill levels but I will tell you, you're going to sweat and burn the fat. Also options to compete and fight and I will say that is the nuts and bolts to this kayo operation. After 6 months of training I was entered into Bobby Campbell's Rise of A Hero fight card @Sons of Italy. Tickets were reasonably priced standing $85 , folding chair $120, or folding table for $1000 with 6 ppl minimum. Michael wrapped my hands and gave me the There is No Tomorrow speech from Rocky 3 because he saw I was shaking with nerves. I was very lucky my opponent was a lot younger, smaller,less skilled than me and I was able to get the knockout in the 1st round. Trained on and off for few years until injuries got the best of me. Michael is as fierce of a businessman as he is fighter so make sure your monthly dues are paid on time as I forgot it was recurring and I saw I was put into collections, I said I was sorry I forgot all about this and this can hurt my credit because I was buying a house and he told me to "pay my bills" which is the same tough love you get in the ring. One thing that is so cool is that Michael will still compete and fight along with his fighters on the show just like when he fought on the legends card against Bobby Campbell at mulcahys. Michael not fighting since the head kick ko to bloodaxe in 2014 he entered the ring to the sopranos woke up this morning song with the gladiator trunks strutting around the cage while Bobby didn't take this fight seriously as he entered with hangers and little beer gut. They traded punches as Bobby's loose midsection took Corleone's body blows meanwhile a cocky Michael walked into a right hand buckling his knees but made it to the final bell. His motor skills are a little off and it looks like he shouldn't Be operating any heavy machinery but can he fight. I've been to boxing gyms all over and this place has the family feel where everyone is a team. My goal was always to bring my son down and train just like his father but as of now he rather wear his mother's pumps and be referred to as JuJu T-Bone Tabone. I recently moved to Glen Cove and was pleased to find that there is authentic Muay Thai being taught in the neighborhood. I checked it out for myself and quickly appreciated it. Signing up for a monthly membership was an easy decision. Master Garcia is knowledgable and caring. He will take the time and put in the effort to train you whether you are a seasoned fighter or someone who has zero martial arts training. If you're reading this review, I suggest you find the class schedule, message the owner, and come in to try it for yourself. I hope that more people in the neighborhood will begin training Muay Thai and that it fosters a greater sense of community.
