My 9-years-old daughter and all of her friends enjoyed the party. They learned basic kickboxing, played whole 1 hour, then snack time, jumping rope, finally, my daughter's favorite part, cut a cake with a real sword with Sensei Anderson. 3 cute young girls helped us a lot. Staff is very minimal since they are trying to bring more customers to this location. OK here's the ILoveKickboxing class review: The trainers were very attentive, push you to the limits. Love the energy. The class consist in 15 minute hard core cardio (running , jumping, push ups, sit ups, etc), Then about 10 minutes of stretching, catching your breath and sweat all of it out. Then another 25-30 minutes of punching , kicking. Make sure to bring a small towel and water, I guarantee you'll sweat a lot, You will be Barefoot and wear comfortable activewear.

They were communicative via email, welcoming upon arrival, and even recommended a more suitable class for my kid. I have seen and practiced at other schools and this one has a notch up on integrity and culture. They don't gift away belts and the belt tests are hour long events making one worthy of achieving different levels. While all of the teachers excel in the knowledge and application of their corresponding arts at this school, Sensei Ubertini really stands out in maintaining such a positive learning atmosphere that encourages all students to do their best.

At one point over the summer he had to choose between soccer and karate, and it was a no-brained for him. They make you feel like family here and are so inclusive, which I love. I had to pull my son out for a bit because chess tournaments have now taken over his time, but once that slows down, we'll definitely be returning to UMA&F.
