Despite all of that, when our class was supposed to take place today, our entire group was left standing outside in the cold because the owner simply **forgot** our scheduled class. This was, without question, the most disappointing and unprofessional experience our homeschool group has ever had. Our outings are usually smooth, positive, and well-coordinated, so for something this important to be handled with such carelessness is extremely upsetting. There was absolutely no accountability, no apology that matched the situation, and not even an offer to make up the class they failed to provide. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of responsibility, communication, and basic courtesy shown to our group. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Their behavior falls far below what one should expect from any business--let alone a martial arts school that claims to teach discipline and respect.

My 5 year daughter has been coming to judo class for a year now…read more They used to meet at the Lutheran Church in forest hills and now they meet at the forest hills Jewish center. The current space is better for the class. The senseis are patient and stress practice and discipline for all their students. Most of the students are adults and there are a handful of little kids who the senseis work with very well. It has taken some time for my child to get used to the class, and the dedication of the staff has really helped her to build confidence.

I got the new year package which included the child's uniform and a month of classes, two days a week for $99. We are doing the Saturday and Sunday morning classes, half hour each class. They start on time, disciplined from beginning to the end of the classes. The instructors are great with the kids, high energy and keep my little one's attention the entire time. They do a few exercises then break up into groups, depending on the child's belt level, and practice taekwondo skills. They take two short water breaks and keep going. Each class ranges from $15 - $24 each. I am pleased with how things are going so far and how excited my son is from when we get there to when we leave. He looks forward to each class.
