A Little Cake was one of the two bakery choices that were included with our wedding package with Perona Farms. We did a tasting with both bakeries, and ultimately preferred the cake from A Little Cake more than the other option. The cakes were moist & flavorful and the fillings decadent and delicious. For our tasting they included their most popular flavors & fillings (I wish we were able to try some of the other flavors & fillings they had). Ultimately my husband and I went with the Combo Cake, a layer of chocolate, and a layer of vanilla, but opted to make the vanilla funfetti and went with the upgrade for the chocolate ganache filling. The cake was SO GOOD I'm still thinking about it, and I typically don't even enjoy chocolate cake! I don't think we will be waiting until our one year anniversary to defrost the top of our wedding cake, but may have a slice each month because there's no way that I can wait an entire year to dig into that again. A Little Cake was easy to communicate with over text message & email. They were even able to put a figurine of our dog Maple on the wedding cake and make it look like she had taken a little bite out of the cake with some tiny crumbs on her nose. It was the sweetest, cutest, most perfect little detail. We have purchased some other baked goods from A Little Cake over the last few months (their Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake & their Caramel Apple Crumb Pie) which are also equally as scrumptious. Amazing "Christine" the car wedding cake! (We combined two of our biggest passions: his love of cars and my love of horror. : D ) Everyone loved it. It was stunning! Well! I am very disappointed in this place. Everything looked amazing inside, and my husband and I loved the decorations . We decided to get a couple of different pastries to test them out, and it was lacking flavor . Plus, it was very expensive as well. The lady behind the counter was recommending items to try, but once we tried it out, we just weren't feeling it. It lacked taste, the brownie was very hard, and all you tasted was loaded with a bunch of chocolate chips, which I would prefer less chocolate chips and more flavor. The cruffin was a bit tastless. 4.5 stars I recently had the pleasure of sampling some of A Little Cake's pastries once again. This time it was 2 different custom cakes, which were both elegantly adorned and delicious tasting. One had layers of funfetti cake with Bavarian Cream and the other was a red velvet cake with cream cheese and vanilla frosting layers. I found both cakes to be moist and fluffy, and I thought the frostings were sweet and decadent. I will say that the host of the event mentioned that a component of the cake's decoration was missing, and the cost had been very high, but otherwise, the custom treats were lovely in presentation and flavor. read more
