I can't recommend Big Timber anymore than this:…read more At 7pm last night a storm quickly blew through, it knocked over a tree in our yard that land right on top of our house. The tree put two holes in the roof that were leaking into the house. I called my insurance company and then called Big Timber (our first time needing a tree service), they were already on a job but committed to come out to to take a look at the mess. At 10pm they were here checking out the tree and the damage. Because the tree was so big and was on the second level roof a crane would be needed to keep from further damaging our house. By 9am this morning the crane and the team were here and working on the job. An hour and a half later they were finished. The tree was gone. My yard was cleaned up of every twig as if nothing happened. My roof was covered in a tarp which was fortunate because it's raining again as I type this review. There's not much more I can say, Denny and his crew did great and fast work exactly when I needed it. Don't hesitate to give them a call.

His guys did a crappy job cleaning up debris and when moving one of the tree's they cut down with their claw machine, they banged up against and scraped a three-foot section of bark of a good tree. The other tree they cut down from the base, felling it on my wooded property line, right in between two large Holly trees - ripped off every branch on both Holly's where they dropped it. I called Denney and he made no effort to look at what they did to my other trees and when I questioned him when they were going to be stump grinding, Denney says 'oh, was that a part of the service'. Everything was done on a handshake with Denney - he is local, good reputation, but never again. If you do use Big Timber, get EVERYTHING in writing and make sure Denney is there in your presence at the beginning of the work to make sure his guys know the job. Recommend you NEVER pay them until Denney comes to inspect the final work either.
