The quote was a good price, the owner gave me his card and told him to give me a call if I would like his services, which I liked because they weren't pushy. I called on Tuesday and they asked my availability, and they were able to accommodate me for Sunday like requested. They called Friday and said they had a cancellation and offered to come on Saturday which I accepted. They worked efficiently, cleaned up very efficiently and even double checked with the neighbor to make sure it would be okay if they went into their yard to pick up a few branches that fell in the yard. Overall great service and I will definitely use them again if ever needed.

On her drive back to the office, Natalie actually took the time to text me a photo of a local tree contractor she spotted nearby. She recommended him, noting that he's local, would likely offer more competitive pricing, and wouldn't have as far of a drive. In this day and age, it's almost unheard of for a business owner to go out of their way to refer a potential customer to a competitor like that. I was genuinely impressed and very appreciative of her honesty and thoughtfulness. He said they would send a crew out to take care of the areas needing cleaned up. This was a week ago and no show from Captains tree service. The price was right by me and they came out on the date I needed them which was within a week of the estimate. I was told he would go by and provide me a quote by Friday. Come Friday EOD, I hadn't received and so I called to follow up. He said they had a spat of recent storms that caught him up - which is completely reasonable - and that he'd head there on Saturday. Saturday EOD comes and I don't hear back. My husband reaches out to say hey, if you're just too busy please just let us know because we have a timeline we just have to work within. He calls back and says I didn't make it today, I'll go tomorrow (Sunday). Sunday comes and he sends us a text message at 7 am (we're on PST, which he knows) asking for the address, which I provided the previous three times I spoke to him. We didn't get the message until 11:30 am when we first went to our phones for the day. We text back the address and he says "I'll pass. I was up there earlier today", like I missed the chance to work with him. But I provided the address three times. He missed his own timing estimate three times. But I'm the one who catches his attitude? I'm pretty shocked at this. It seems others have had better experiences but this certainly wasn't a good one.
