I don't usually leave reviews, but I must in this case. To give you some background, I had an…read moreentire Hayward system put in originally to automate everything for my pool. I had the pool company put a top-of-the-line system in because I really didn't want to spend a time monitoring everything. It is a larger saltwater fiberglass pool that we went with and we only put it in five years ago. The Hayward system was never that user-friendly, nor did it really tell you what was going on with your pool chemistry. So I was doing the test strips or I kept bringing in the sample waters for testing and was told something was way off. The local Pool company in Rock Hill came out and said my salt water generator was not working properly. They said, however, that everything else seem to be working well. So I took it upon myself too buy a Hayward salt-water generator, and install it myself as it was easy, but the system kept faulting on me, so I called the local pool company and they refused to come out, even though I wanted to pay them, because I did not buy the salt water generator from them. So after searching, I was fortunate enough to find Swift Water and the owner, Andy Shook. He came over promptly and did a lot of testing only to discover that the Hayward motherboard was crashing, and none of the other features were really working, so how the local pool company missed all this I will really never understand. Andy priced out putting in a new Hayward system for me, and it was really expensive and I was frustrated because Hayward has not stood up to test a time in my opinion. However, Andy was able to show me another solution, and I am thrilled. He priced everything out for me and wow, the system we ended up going with was almost the same as the Hayward system, it is such a remarkable upgrade. He installed a product named Poolside Tech and I am in love. It completely monitors my poor chemistry, so no longer do I need to do test strips or bring my pool water in. On top of that it integrated with the Hayward systems that were still operational so I didn't have to swap everything out which saved me a lot of money. The other thing about Andy I found is that he has to be one of the most caring owners I've ever found. He is able to monitor my pool water remotely and noticed an issue and came back to fix it without even me asking. So if you're like myself, and believe you pay for what you get and want quality, you need to schedule a time to meet with Andy and see everything he has to offer. He is a man of faith and old-fashioned business ethics and is so nice and refreshing to see these days. I am so impressed with how things are operating and his system that I wish I could leave a 10 star review on here. Thank you, Swiftwater and Andy Shook

They sold him a used laptop. I happened to be at his house when he came home saying that he had to buy Mom a new laptop. I was curious as to what was wrong with her old machine so I booted it up. Worked fine but was slow, I found and removed a program running in the background, then defraged her HDD. Machine ran great! The next day my Dad and I took the laptop back for a refund. The owner was not there, so we were told to return Monday. I had to work Monday through Wednesday out of town, so I went back on Thursday. The owner still was not there, so the clerk got him on the phone. He wanted to know what was wrong with the new/used laptop, I told him that I had never booted it up, and that I wanted to return it because there was nothing wrong with her old one. I was told by the owner Don that "this is not the way we do business" he then offered me a store credit. I gave the phone back to the clerk, and politely left. Clearly this is a business that has taken advantage of an elderly woman and man. There is no place in our community for a business that operates in such a manner.
