I've been bringing my Miniature Schnauzer to A Clip Above for 3 years now and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. There have been few times when her coat was matted when brought her in. The groomer was so patient and kind with her while brushing out the mats. The groomers do an excellent job with the "Schnauzer hair cut". My little girl comes home looking great and smelling wonderful. I highly recommend A Clip Above for your pet. read more

This is by far the best grooming place I've taken my dogs to! First class service!! My pups always come home looking great!

I used to love A Clip Above, and in fact recommended them to several friends and family members. It seems to have gone downhill lately, however. It seems every time I've had my dogs groomed there has been an issue. From taking over 7 hours to groom a lab while my other dog waited for several hours after being done, lack of communication, cotton swabs being left in ears only to be found days later, and misleading specials, I won't be returning to A Clip Above. read more

Took my pomeranian here to get her grooming for the first time , and she came out looking great . I have been to a couples different groomers and this one is my favorite . I will definitely be back . read more

A Clip Above - Pet Groomers Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Such a cute place, felt like I was walking into a human spa not the doggie spa!

A clip above is the perfect place to get you dog groomed. They are the nicest people, professional and have a heart for our fur babies. Our dogs love all and gets so excited to see Andy at a clip above. Your dog will love it. read more

Excellent grooming! Patient and kind to my two dogs and they always look adorable when finished!

We have had only great experiences with A Clip Above with our Australian Labradoodle pup. Covid procedures in place and drop-off pickup are smooth and safe. He is so soft, smells and looks great afterwards. He is happy to go in, Mark is awesome! read more

I love this place! Our dog also loves this place. The cleaning lasts so much longer than any other place. We have a husky and he sheds a lot less after getting his bath. Highly recommend! read more

This salon is adorable! My dog has been shedding less. He smells great. I cannot wait to take him back. Whatever products they used are a ten. read more

Found this place a few years ago, great customer service - we drive from Parker to bring our dog here.

Best groomers in a neat and clean environment. My dogs actually get excited When they see me pull up to the groomers! I would not trust anyone else with my dogs! I have been going To A Clip Above for years now and I I am a very loyal and faithful fan, to say the least! read more

Amazing people and groomers. Great place to take your fur babies

Our two miniature Aussies had a great experience! It was our first time in and couldn't be more happy with the service. Our groomer Amanda was wonderful! She took the time to explain the grooming process. She was very knowledgeable with the breed and the cut. Our pups looked amazing! She took the time on every detail. The shop took every precaution with the Covid-19 which also included curbside drop off and pick up. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!! read more

Always a great experience and they all take such good care of our Tahoe as he's getting older at 11 years old. Thanks for for the TLC - A Clip Above read more

As Good As It Gets These guys were AMAZING to me and my poor dog. They discovered when bathing him that he had lice - eeesh. They were so good about it. They moved him to a separate area and helped me get in with the vet right across the street. Since he was already there, they treated him with the shampoo we were given and even dealt with an accident he had in him kennel. These people are saints and I won't take him anywhere else. Thank you, A Clip Above. read more

Love this spot! My pup, ok doggie has had the same groomer in CA for years. He can have a bit of an attitude and by that I mean he bites. I searched for a while before booking our appt. They did a great job here. They fully groomed him, cleaned up his face and matted ears. They also had us schedule our follow up before we left for a discount next time. I loved that I immediately got an email reminder. I also thought the price over all was excellent. I think it was $65 for a full groom, toes clipped, etc. and he hadn't been to the groomer for 4 months due to our move. So happy to have found our new groomer in Colorado. Highly recommend. read more

Nice people. Great service. Just do not plan on their advice as to time being right. Always an hour or more later.

Lindsay did a great job at grooming Sophie! They are the best and I feel that Sophie is very safe with them! Laurie Schlager

As the former owner of an upscale pet grooming salon I could not begin to express how particular I am when it comes to choosing a pet stylist for my little fur baby. Needless to say the list of qualification is quite long and only begins with their skill level. Kindness, cleanliness, and the ability to speak Pom-a-Poo are qualities that are non-negotiable. Lindsay handles my little Princess with skill and compassion. She grooms cage free, upon request, and uses products fitting of my baby's angelic baby soft skin. I have referred former clients to her shop without hesitation as her groomers are all of the same caliber she is. When closing my shop by greatest fear was where would I take my little Roxy. Thank you Lindsay for opening just in time! read more

Love this place. I take my 7 lb long hair chihuahua here every 6 months. They do a solid job every time. They finish on time, and my dog always smells and looks awesome afterwards. The groomer always has time to speak to you after. You pay afterwards and I think they offer you a discount if you go ahead and book the next appointment. The place is so clean and cutely decorated. read more

Lindsay take the best care with my Pomeranian and My Papillon LOVES Mark!! They love going to the spa to get beautified!!

I have been bringing my poodle mix for 6 months now. He always comes back with a great cut and acting well-adjusted.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! They treat the dogs so great and are really understanding. My dog looks great. Her fur is soft as when she was a puppy. Clean place too! read more

I have always been very picky about how my maltese is groomed! I have never been disappointed with A Clip Above!! Lindsay does a great job with my baby! From the first time I took her in, they always listen to exactly what I want and how I want my dog to look! The facility is super clean, the staff is friendly! I will always go here and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for doing such an exceptional job! read more

Before moving to Colorado, I had an amazing groomer which made it harder to say our goodbyes. I tried many places in the D.T.C area and there was not any that I was satisfied with until I discovered A Clip Above. In all honestly, I was reluctant in trying another place but I was not disappointed with the results. They are very accommodating, sensitive to my dogs needs and have reasonable prices. I recently moved to Aurora which is about 30 minutes away and I once again began a new search, call many places and after much research I came to the conclusion that it was worth the drive to Centennial, This says a lot about how comfortable I am dropping off my furry family members in this location. read more

I received a recommendation from a neighbor to try out a clip above for a groom on our sweet but nervous Sadie. We made an appointment a week in advance and when we showed up it was like a mini spa for dogs. Sadie had Mark as a groomer and he was great! He discussed the service with me and made her feel comfortable. When I returned she looked beautiful and super happy. I'd recommend this groomer to all my friends! Thanks! read more

I've been taking my Australian shepherd mix here for about a year and half and I hope to never have to go anywhere else. Every time I take him in we get a warm welcome. My dog loves his groomer (Gina) and never gets stressed with her. He comes back to me looking amazing every time. The prices are no different than any other place I've been to but absolutely worth it. He has gotten hot spots from every other groomer I've been to but never from a clip above. His groomer is attentive and consistently amazing. This is a great little shop and I highly recommend them! read more

Showed up 5mins early for an appt & intake was 15mins late. Groomer stated my wife requested a "mud treatment" when she booked so I initialed the form. 3hrs for a de-shed wash, brush, and the mud treatment on a shorthaired dog. Got a call my dog would be ready in 10mins, arrived in 9. I called the desk when I arrived (COVID protocol). 15mins later and after watching 2 people who arrived after me pay & leave, I called again. Same girl at the desk (I could see her) stated they didn't know I was there but they'd "be right out with her". 5mins later, another girl came out with a card reader for me to pay, still no sight of my dog but she wanted to know my tip amount. 5mins later (25mins after I arrived, 35 after "ready in 10") they brought my dog out. After all of that, 3.5hrs and $85+tip later, my dog is still visibly shedding everywhere just shaking out. And (topper on the cake) I got home, told my wife what BS that timeline and price was, and she said she explicitly DECLINED the mud treatment 3x while making the appointment as the girl continued to up-sale her. BS from start to finish. Hurting my dog is the only mistake they didn't make. read more

We really like this place for our "older" beagle. It's very open and clean, the staff is very welcoming and I like that you can drop off you dog early and pick up later if needed. Very easy to get an appointment and get in-- even before the Holidays when I forgot to call a week ago. We are so happy we found this place and will continue coming here for all our grooming needs read more

They've been great! We took our (pretty crazy!) dog here for grooming and we're very pleased! She came home smelling beautiful and looking gorgeous! read more

A Clip Above is superior at all levels! Their attention to detail and expertise grooming skills are by far the best you can get. Customer service requires five more stars. I love walking into a business where you are greeted by smiling faces and people who really do care about you and your pet. I bring all six of my dogs here. The two Germans for de-shedding and bath, and the four shihtzus for full on grooming, and well let's be honest......pampering. (these high maintenance pooches we have) Another thing I love about them is that this is a small business and not a chain. The really take pride in what they do. I am all about supporting our small businesses. (with big hearts) read more

Marie took the time to meet with us and discuss any concerns, and also answered any questions after. She did a great job grooming our Lhasa apso puppy Valentino on his first short cut, he looks great! :-) read more

These folks are excellent. We have four Poms. Have had two of them done recently and they came back looking like they stepped off the pages of Vogue - (or a dog mag of the same ilk!) The next two will be done shortly and so far, we highly, highly recommend their services to anyone wishing for terrific customer service and a staff that has the care of your pet as their primary focus!! This place is simply amazing! I took my cattle dog/Akita/chow mix here for a bath and brushing. He has the 3 layer thick coat. I have never had a groomer brush him so well! It has been 2 weeks and still no shedding. This is amazing to me! Mark is a groomer extraordinaire! Also, no long wait for an appointment. Shop is clean and well run. You can't go wrong with this place! read more

I just took both of my dogs here and I had such a pleasant experience. The staff is so friendly and they did an amazing job with my pups!

We brought in our husky for a serious grooming. Previous groomers didn't seem to have great luck with him and made sure to let us know how difficult he was every time he came for a visit. A gentleman named Mark took him back and 4 hrs later he was transformed. Mark managed to get all the undercoat out and our Husky's white coat has never been so vibrant. We were amazed when we picked him up! The whole place is so clean and pleasant to be in and the front desk person was lovely. But the best part was having Mark tell us he did great and any of those behaviors we were concerned about were just the personality of the breed! We knew that but it was so nice to hear it from someone who was capable of making our dog so much more comfortable during his grooming visit and for the rest of the summer! We are BIG FANS! read more

We have been going to A Clip Above for many years and have referred others. They have gotten so busy since their remodel (which says a lot about their groomers) that customer service has gone down. We've called multiple times and someone answers the phone and asked us to call back because the receptionist is busy. Sadly trying out another groomer nearby. Had to reschedule because a groomer didn't show up. read more

Excellent grooming services. Staff are not only talented but extremely personable and nice. Prices are more than fair for the quality and amount of work done. Our dog, Murphy, can be skittish when he is being groomed and they have been able to make him feel comfortable while they do the job. Highly recommended - especially if you are south of Denver. read more

My dog Sadie has been to A Clip Above a few times now in the last year. They are always very accommodating when I call to get her a last minute appointment. I appreciate how patient they were with Sadie and I the first time I brought her in since I just recently started getting her groomed. Sadie is an Aussie Shepherd mix and is very fluffy! They always do a great job bathing and brushing her and we always request extra de-shedding but I have never felt overcharged for the amount of work they do put in to making her look fantastic! Another reason I feel confident taking Sadie here is that they don't make her sit around and wait, I always get a call letting me know approx. 30 minutes prior to her being ready for pick up which is awesome! read more
