The vet told me it would be too stressful for him to be boarded while we were gone, so I read online reviews and called Ann. I honestly was blown away. Ann was extremely knowledgeable, and also just incredibly kind and loving toward my cat. She went out of her way to take care of him while we were gone. She brought over feeding syringes and gave him Pepcid to help his stomach, as he was unable to eat without throwing up. She honestly got more food down him than I had been able to. She also recommended a brand of food that he will finally eat on his own, and had great advice for me on how to get him to start eating again (we had the vet pull a few teeth). Every day when we were gone she kept me updated by sending emails and pictures of him. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. I will for sure be using Ann in the future, and cannot recommend her enough.

My little guy seems happy when I pick him up and doesn't show any signs of not wanting to be there when we take him so I think he likes it well enough. :) Update: This time once we got him home he started having diahrrea and vomiting. We had to take him to an animal hospital who said it was due to the stress of boarding. I only found out because, something in my gut didn't feel right. So, I called to get access to the webcams, an hour and a half after dropping him off and when I checked I didn't see him. Immediately, I called back to find out where he was and I was advised that he was isolated in a room, in an unfamiliar place, I immediately got in my car and headed to picked him up. When I arrived and demanded they bring my dog to me, he was visibly scared and confused, and the front desk staff seemed unaware of what was going on or the reason for my frustration!! This lack of communication and care is unacceptable. If vaccinations were an issue, my dog should never have been approved or accepted that morning. I would not trust this facility with my pet again.

The staff had been locked outside since 0530 and was standing there like idiots - only one young woman out of SIX seemed concerned that the dogs were locked inside alone. They reported they had called their manager repeatedly and knocked on her door - no response. At 0800, I finally called the Irving Fire Department to rescue my dogs and all the other animals in the building. They arrived with two trucks, a chief and two police cars. The firemen had to threaten to break down the door of the manager apartment to get her to open the door. There were 11 other customers who were equally as pissed off - several stormed off and I was shocked at the few that stayed and left their dogs knowing the situation. All the dogs had been unattended for more than 12 hours. My dogs were not bathed as scheduled. They reeked of urine and stool and were full of anxiety. The policy of the animals being unattended at night is unsafe and not what I am paying for. The manager not showing up to work amplified an already dangerous situation. I was told by the young woman that checked me out I would be contacted about a refund as she felt I deserved this. I have heard from no one at PP.
