I never feel like they're trying to upsell me- just provide honest, helpful service. Their crew is also incredibly respectful of your home, which I really appreciate. Peggy and her team are wonderful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! read more

We first heard about A/C Lady on the Nextdoor website, and with summer right around the corner, we decided it was the perfect time to have our A/C system checked to make sure it was ready for the Texas heat. On April 7, 2026, we scheduled an appointment and spoke with Melissa, the receptionist and appointment coordinator. She was incredibly sweet and polite, and set us up with a service window between 1 PM and 3 PM with their top technician, Nathan. Right on time, Nathan arrived at our home. He was friendly, professional, and had a warm, welcoming demeanor. He worked quickly yet thoroughly, answered all of our questions patiently, and carefully explained his findings after completing the inspection. He confirmed the A/C was working well but noted it had lost about a pound of R22 refrigerant, which has been discontinued. He explained that the unit would eventually need to be replaced and walked us through all of our options without any sales pressure. The inspection lasted about an hour and a half, and his attention to detail was impressive. After discussing the pros and cons, we decided to move forward with replacing the unit. We coordinated with Michael and scheduled installation for Monday, April 13, 2026, at 9 AM. Today was installation day, and A/C Lady sent their elite installation team--Edgar, David, Daniel, and Juan. These four worked like a team twice their size. They were fast, efficient, organized, and operated like a well-oiled machine. Each person knew their role and executed it flawlessly. Shortly after the installation was complete, Michael stopped by to personally inspect the work, which we really appreciated. We are extremely impressed with A/C Lady. Every employee who came to our home was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company! read more

Good overall experience. Parts were deverted to wrong address so had to wait several extra days. Good thing we have 3 acs or we'd been in trouble. Worked out though. I'll never buy a home that doesn't have at least two air conditioners need the redundancy if you have a problem with one to be without any is not tolerable. read more

What a kind woman! She helped us over the phone, knowing she wouldn't be paid! Took at least 20-30 mins of her own time to make sure our ac was working. I would highly recommend her! read more

Great service and reasonable pricing. Peggy has never steered us wrong. We have used her for over 20 years.

Our best find since moving here from Louisiana! Wow super responsive and more knowledgeable than several companies we have tried. Sam took the time to explain these newer units and how to properly maintain them. He corrected drainline set up that others ignored. My family had an hvac company and we have learned a lot today. This is our new goto hvac company. Would give them 10 stars if I could, impressive! read more

Always fast, courteous.. this is an amazing company .. they explain all of your issues, give you a fair price and are just plain awesome.

We have used AC Lady for almost 10 years. They are prompt, knowledgeable, explain everything they do and why, never oversell or try to upgrade from what your system needs, and above all, they have always been honest and fair. I would recommend AC Lady anytime. read more

Excellent AC and Heating company. I switched to them about 1 year ago and I've been extremely happy with them since then. Just today I used them since one of my heat pump units stopped and with the summer approaching, I needed a repair. They were able to give me an appointment really quickly and Sam the technician came out and was able to diagnose the problem. . It was not an easy fix but he went over and beyond expectations to repair the unit and the charge was extremely low, compared to other companies. I highly recommend AC lady for all of your Air Conditioning and Heating needs. read more

Like many in the review section, I decided to give A/C Lady a try based on the stellar reviews I read. Am glad to report they did not disappoint. I reached our to them to get a third opinion. The first A/C company I tried stated I needed to replace the entire unit, the second A/C company I tried stated they had trouble finding the right parts after chasing them for weeks. When Mike from A/C Lady came by, he diagnosed the issue, found the part within half an hour, and had the unit fixed within the next hour at a very reasonable price. Super honest techs, very helpful and I told them they had just earned a new repeat customer. They are an honest, straightforward company. Cannot recommend enough. read more

Peggy and her team are honest, quick, and very transparent. I would highly recommend them for any a/c issue you have.

We all need to be using A/C Lady. I can't believe what a great experience this was--I was experiencing an issue and another company came out and gave me a quote to replace a motor but also saying my other unit was close to going out and should be replaced. I called the A/C Lady and left a message asking if they could give me a second opinion. Peggy called me back within an hour and said they would be happy to help. She has her tech Daniel out the next morning. He took his time and patiently explained things to me--showing me the tools with the measurements and demonstrating what he was seeing up in the attic. I didn't need a new system (shocker) or a new motor. He added coolant and changed the filter. Literally thousands saved. He said they don't charge for second opinions (which is amazing!). The transparency, friendliness, and great communication is so important in a world where most of us aren't HVAC experts...ultimately the best part about this experience was the fact that I could TRUST what he was saying. This will be our go-to company going forward. No wonder everyone in HEB loves the A/C Lady! read more

I have had the AC Lady out for a few seasonal checks and when my system stopped working I called on them again due to my previous experience. They are known for being professional, accurate and fairly priced. They lived up to all of that and more on my install project. They attempted a lower level repair first in the hopes it would fix the problem. When it didn't they applied the total cost of that repair to a new system. I just love running into people who do business with integrity. All the people involved were great to work with and I feel happy that I now have a system I won't have to think any more about for 10 years outside of the seasonal checks which will certainly be done by Peggy or someone working for her. read more

I'm an existing customer of A/C Lady (I live in Bedford) having used them a few times in the past and have always been very satisfied with them. My sister, who lives in South Arlington, was being given the runaround with her vendor so I called A/C Lady about trying to help her out with a 2nd opinion. Turns out my sister's house is outside of their service area, but after they could tell how disappointed I was, they agreed to go take a look. Turns out the AC company my sister was using was being very dishonest with her recommending many expensive repairs she didn't need. I can't thank Peggy enough for helping. YOU CAN TRUST A/C LADY TO DO A GOOD JOB FOR A REASONABLE CHARGE! What more can you ask? read more

She does fast, honest work at a great price. We went through a couple others before her and whole-heartedly recommend. Our AC was replaced and fixed in no time. read more

I work in a trade/service provider/construction industry and I have to praise this business. I had an issue with another service provider and called far after hours and left a message. I was completely surprised when I got a call back close to immediately. I was told the service tech could come out the next day AM. I jumped on it. The tech called me slightly before the beginning time and asked if he could come in a bit early...absolutely. He completed service and was very educational, helping with questions, and showing me a few things about my unit and the item he replaced. Great dude, very helpful. I was even more surprised when I had to pay. Well below what I expected. Great company and my old guy just lost a customer. AC Lady is my go to! Note: I'm in Hurst Tx, not SF. read more

i highly recommend The A/C lady for all HVAC services. They replaced my unit in 2021. They did such a great job with competitive pricing. Their employees are professional friendly and knowledgeable. My a/c went out on Labor Day and they were quick to the rescue. The best!!! read more

My husband and I were recently without AC after our thermostat lost power. We initially attempted to go through our home warranty company for a repair because HVAC systems were covered - this was a huge mistake. The home warranty company sent three different contractors over the course of 6 weeks and each time diagnosed the AC with a different issue, eventually claiming we need an entirely new furnace which would be an out of pocket cost of nearly $2,000 despite our coverage. We were defeated, knew we couldn't trust the warranty company, and were still without AC despite temperatures exceeding 80 degrees. I found AC Lady had amazing reviews and decided I wanted a second opinion before forking over $2k to anyone. It was the best decision we made. Everyone from the office staff to the technicians were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional. They thoroughly evaluated our issue and determined a fix for under $400 and executed the fix same-day. We needed a new thermostat and had an issue with self-installation, and our AC Lady tech came back, free of charge, and resolved our issue in under an hour. They are responsive, trustworthy, and great to work with. We won't use anyone else for our future HVAC needs and will recommend AC Lady to all of our local friends. They are the best! read more

If you live in the HEB area, don't even bother calling anyone but the A/C Lady! Another great experience today, when my a/c wasn't cooling the house. A repairman arrived in a few hours, and the problem was pinpointed in about 5 minutes. The temperature is currently falling inside, and so is my blood pressure. Great job! read more

Great service! I received 5-star service from the moment I called to schedule an appointment until the tech was finished and headed to the next job. They were thorough and professional, identified the problem with my ac unit, and fixed it quickly. And the best part? No sticker shock. They charged a very fair and reasonable rate which was well below what I had anticipated. I will definitely call them again if I ever need HVAC repairs. read more

I needed someone to inspect my unit before Summer really kicks in. I'm trying to prevent things bad happening. Daniel was sent out to check everything out, and he was excellent. They came out within 15 minutes of my call- unprecedented. Zac explained everything to me in thorough, explained that I wouldn't need a new system but a new motor for my really old HVAC system. My A/C overflow was not connected from a previous company so it overflowed and water was coming thru my kitchen ceiling. I called A/C Lady and even though they were extremely busy they sent out a wonderful gentleman the next evening. He was fantastic and made sure this would not happen again. I also requested an annual service in addition to my repair. The price was very reasonable. He was quick, thorough and even showed me pictures so I could understand what he was saying.
