Did you know that if the coils in the compressor get very dirty your A/C system can fail? Well, I…read morefound out the hard way two days ago. Around 3 in the afternoon, I noticed it was getting kind of warm in one part of the house and took a look at the thermostat. The actual temp was reading several degrees higher than were I had it set. Uh-oh! The system was running and air was blowing from the vents, but it was not cold air. So I called Paschall. They said someone could be out between 3&5 PM that day and would that be OK? Uh... yea!! Paschall to the rescue! I a nutshell, the tech arrived about 4:30 and by 5 I was already feeling cold air coming out of the vents. Somehow the coils on the compressor for that system had become so dirty it had caused the A/C not to work properly. The tech cleaned the compressor coils and all was well. Turns out it's a good idea to hose them off periodically, especially if you kick up a lot of dirt with yardwork (mowing grass? using leaf blower?) or have cottonwood trees nearby. (I'm also speculating that the amount of dirt in the air from lack of rain may be a contributor). I change the indoor filters regularly, but wasn't aware I was supposed to be hosing the coils, too. I know now. In addition to cleaning the coils, the tech also checked out the rest of the system before he left to verify that was the only problem. I like the folks at Paschall. They're knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to explain the problem and what they're doing to fix it. Also last year, we ended up having Paschall replace two of the three original systems (circa 1995) in the house when they died their untimely deaths. I'm hoping to replace that third system early next spring before it dies (assuming it makes it through this summer and upcoming winter). Plus, I have noticed a difference in our electric bills with the new energy-efficient systems. So that's something.

Wonderfully responsive and kind - they have repaired, replaced and maintained our two heating and A/C units with outstanding results. This type of service is not available from any other company trying to use the "Paschall" name.

I contacted Always There Air through their website around 7:00 PM, and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived around 8:00 PM that same evening. Abiel was wonderful! He quickly diagnosed the problem as an issue with the zoning system and found that the damper was closed. There was also an issue with the motor, which he recommended we take care of soon. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and he had my AC back up and running in no time. I really appreciated the quick response, especially since it was after hours, on a weekend and during the Texas heat. The service was excellent from start to finish. If you need HVAC service, I definitely recommend Always There Air. Great service, quick response, and a job well done!

I've followed him throughout his career because he's the most honest and reliable HVAC technician that I've ever had in my home, and he's an absolute pleasure to speak with. He's "extremely" knowledgeable and has always been able to source and repair every issue, including the replacement of my condensers, the installation of a fresh air management system/ERV, Nest thermostat installs, hard start devices and multiple other issues that surfaced as my home aged. When Caleb started Always There Air he hired technicians who shared the same core values that he had and they're the ABSOLUTE BEST! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this company and I know you will too.

In June they performed a routine complimentary maintenance inspection to keep the system running smoothly. On July 30, 2026 the ceiling started dripping. I called them right away. A separate roofer also inspected and confirmed the roof and attic were fine, and specifically recommended checking the drain line on the pancake unit. I relayed this to Sunny Service. Their technician came out the same day, said everything was fine, and charged me another service fee. The next day (July 31, 2026) the roofer returned, opened the ceiling, and immediately found water coming from the direction of the pancake unit. The drain pipe was flooded. Just one day earlier Sunny Service had told me it was not the issue. I now have roughly $2,000 in ceiling repairs to deal with. I'm also unclear why the system did not detect the overflow and shut down, which the technician had previously explained it should do. I trusted this company for two years with a brand-new system. Please make sure any AC company thoroughly checks and clears the condensate drain on every visit. This should never have happened.

I called 4 companies and Nick and Randy were the only ones who arrived the same evening, not the next day. The unit worked for a couple hours and stopped again. I texted Nick and he was back at my house within an hour. He gave me a quote that is half the quote of the first company and he organized for the new unit he put in today, instead of me waiting till Monday. This is an AC company I would recommend without any reservations. I am planning to get a bunch of their cards and give it to all my friends. Instead of simply proposing a 1 to 1 replacement, Tyler listened carefully to our issues and came up with a great solution that would increase airflow, reduce humidity, and potentially save on utilities. His proposal would remove both the upstairs and downstairs units and install a variable speed single zoned system with a dehumidifier. Tyler's solution was less expensive than our other finalist, and very competitive with the other bids. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly. In the end, however, there were some specific things about the thermostat that the other option handled better for our needs, though most people would probably not notice. Even after I let Tyler know we were choosing another company, he was very professional and advised us on a technical detail. I would highly recommend you talk with Tyler when it's time for a new system.
