They always respond quickly enough and are helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed working with their long-standing service guy, Jimmy, but he's since retired. The younger guys working there now are still great, he must have trained them well. We have no plans to work with anyone else as long as we own a home in their service area. They do their best to keep costs manageable while not recommending systems/options that won't last. It's a hassle to deal with AC in the Texas heat, but Brown is good to have around to help survive it without going broke. I'd recommend 'em, for sure.

Seal was one of several companies I contacted and was the first to get back to me. They asked several questions and listened to what I had to say on the phone and assured me they could likely solve my A/C problems at a much more reasonable rate. Once they made it out to my place, they didn't try to push me on the most expensive, brand name units. Secondly, while the other competitor said I needed to replace both the upper A/C unit in my attic and the lower unit on the side of my house, Seal confirmed the lower unit was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced since it was only installed six years ago. Long story short, they were able to replace the entire upper unit while saving me thousands! They also completed the work quickly and professionally. My house is blowing cold air again and I can't wait to see the energy savings in the summer. Overall, Seal is honest, hard-working and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for A/C repair in Dallas-Fort Worth.

I knew that the issue was and told him. I called him out to replace a capacitor, nothing else. Install that, the unit will kick on. Cheap and easy fix. A gentec cap at Home Depot is about $14. Yep, $14. Discharge the old one with a screw driver, take it off, replace it. Charge me for a service call, maybe jack up the part price a bit, then boom, cool air and that's that. Well I once stopped using this company because it started to seem as if the techs are on salary, plus commission for upselling other services or parts. If this is the case, it makes the possibility for defrauding over over charging customers an obvious issue. Doesn't mean they will all be dishonest, but it would make dishonesty incentivized, and reward those techs that bring in the biggest numbers, and parts sold at an ungodly mark up. When we didn't have Youtube and the internet to cross reference and diagnose issues, and if I did not have a Nephew that is an HVAC tech but that lives too far, I would not be so upset that I felt had. He was a very pleasant person, but maybe this was a part of the manner in which the hammer was applied. So, an issue I have had several times over the course of 223 years of home ownership, that has never run a hair over $200 including the recharge, capacitor, and service call, ran close to $500, just a year past the last time I had this done by a competitor, same city. Another note, upstairs unit was chilly prior to the service of the downstairs unit. When the tech left, upstairs was warm. Not in relationship to the downstairs because of the fix, but unusually warm considering years both ran fine. He mentioned cleaning both. I did not ask for the upstairs to be serviced. What happened to the upstairs unit? What? Was I supposed to then call him back to now "fix" this one that magically started to warm up? Um, No. So I called the company I switched to in the first place. in the words of former President G.W. Bush... "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again." At least I tried to allow them a chance for redemption. Seems like they are determined to upsell themselves out of my consideration ever again.

On April 7, 2026, we scheduled an appointment and spoke with Melissa, the receptionist and appointment coordinator. She was incredibly sweet and polite, and set us up with a service window between 1 PM and 3 PM with their top technician, Nathan. Right on time, Nathan arrived at our home. He was friendly, professional, and had a warm, welcoming demeanor. He worked quickly yet thoroughly, answered all of our questions patiently, and carefully explained his findings after completing the inspection. He confirmed the A/C was working well but noted it had lost about a pound of R22 refrigerant, which has been discontinued. He explained that the unit would eventually need to be replaced and walked us through all of our options without any sales pressure. The inspection lasted about an hour and a half, and his attention to detail was impressive. After discussing the pros and cons, we decided to move forward with replacing the unit. We coordinated with Michael and scheduled installation for Monday, April 13, 2026, at 9 AM. Today was installation day, and A/C Lady sent their elite installation team--Edgar, David, Daniel, and Juan. These four worked like a team twice their size. They were fast, efficient, organized, and operated like a well-oiled machine. Each person knew their role and executed it flawlessly. Secondary line now drains when it never did. Did not replace my filter dryer after opening my system. Last visit they told me it was outside coils being dirty. Why is that all of a sudden an issue 2 weeks later? Left a hole in the top of my air handler after that visit. Overall, they have caused me to miss/leave work multiple times to meet them in hopes they will fix it that time. I'm tired of being hot and frustrated. Shocking thing is that they came well recommended. Such a shame!
