Do not hesitate to reserve your unit... This company is professional, honest, and all around awesome as storage units go. We've had several located in different parts of the US, and yes there is a difference. We desperately required a storage unit, possibly two, due to a huge move from over 1,000 miles away. Calling from our home town and not knowing where to start, I decided upon Ridgefield Mini Storage. As luck would have it, owner Erica answered the phone and was informative, understanding of our situation, and helpful. She immediately made us feel at ease, we decided to move forward with them. This is one of the best storage unit facilities we have ever used in terms of communication, genuine helpfulness, cleanliness, & safety. The front desk mgr Camille, is just as helpful. It's always a pleasure speaking to either of them. They both go out if their way to answer our questions and find solutions. They are both on the same page, that alone in regards to doing business these days, is definitely a plus! Being new to this area, not knowing the lay of the land so to speak, we have called about other things in general relating to moving & storage and assistance, Erica takes her time with recommendations and assistance as does Camille. The unit they had assigned me had a walk-in, Not a drive in door, ergo there was no way I could get my trailer in the unit. Called them, explained they misunderstood what I needed, the unit would not work for me, they said my $91 would be returned in 7-10 business days. It is now January, I've been dealing with 3 different people, the first of whom I've spoken with 3 or 4 times, trying to get my money back, each time I'm told "We're sending a request for a return of your money, we'll call you back within an hour..." and then of course that doesn't happen. Today, a new person answered, and He want's to argue with me! I ask for the owner to speak with, "I'll send a request... yada yada yada". Nope, I'd like their number please. "We don't have a number for the owner." ?! How do you "contact" them then?! Sounds like all they have in the office is an email address (hard to tell, this person is not a native English speaker), in any case, I'm still getting a run around to get my original money back two months after they were unable to accommodate me and my trailer. I don't know who these other people have spoken to ("Mike"?), but My experience with these people has not been as fruitful or pleasant. Something is not right with this place, the other reviews were written in 2023, so maybe this place has sold to a new owner? Anyway, I would stay clear of this place, they're not honest, their customer service sucks hardcore.

Monday 7/22 I signed a contract with Battle Ground Mini Storage for unit number 404. Tuesday 7/23…read morearound 7pm I went to my storage unit, and found that there was a lock placed on the door, preventing me from accessing the unit. The office was closed. I called and left a voicemail. Wednesday, my plan was to ride my motorcycle to the storage unit, store my motorcycle in my storage and pickup the 20ft uhaul truck I reserved for an 8am pickup. I had already supplied my registration insurance for my motorcycle. Because a lock was placed on my unit preventing me access, I was not able to store my motorcycle, and forced to catch an Uber to pick up the uhaul. When I arrived to pickup the uhual the morning of 7/24 at 8am, after paying for the uhual and completing majority of the self check-in process, I found there was not a combination lock on the back of the truck. I looked all around the truck and inside the truck. I called uhual customer service, who attempted to reach the site manager. The site manager did not answer. I was then transferred to the schedule department. From there I was rerouted to Orchards location. Due to Battle Ground Mini storage not upholding their end of the rental agreement, I then had to take another Uber to the Orchard location. I arrived home at 9:30am versus my planed time of 8:30am. I hired movers through uhual to start at 9am. So I lost 30 minutes of moving time, as they were sitting waiting for me. I called the Battle Ground mini storage location and spoke to Emma. Emma advised a lock was placed on my storage unit by mistake from there their security team. She also advised she didn't know why the combination lock was not placed on the truck, and that my reservation was in the system for self check-in. As of today Emma is ignoring me. I have emailed Battle Ground Storage Unit on 08/13 and 08/19, and I have not received any response. This is the total cost I ensured due to Battle Ground Mini storage placing a lock on my storage unit causing me not to have access to my unit and for their staff not setting the combination lock on the truck: 1st Uber trip-$21.44 2nd Uber trip-$34.68 Movers: $47.50 Total $103.62 I would like to be reimbursed for $103.62. In addition, I canceled the storage right away, due to having to get a unit elsewhere and I was told I would receive a refund, for $44.84 for the unit, and I have not.

They…read morehave this place set up right, with loading docks, elevator cages, dollies and drays, and they keep it right with great security and cleanliness. They dealt with us fairly and economically, and were always easy to reach and to talk to, even from 3 states away. I do not believe there is a better storage facility for the average person than the Stor-Room!
