The place was actually bigger inside than I had thought so. On the right side from the entrance, is where all the cute knickknacks are found--toys, mugs, cards, stuffed animals and birds, children's books, posters, and the like. On the left side is where a lot of more fragile merchandise is found-- glass orbs, ceramic ware, pottery, sun catchers, Vermont products and souvenirs, etc. At the back part is a whole clothing section where you can find souvenir shirts and sweaters, a wall of Crocs, and a variety of Minnetonka moccasins. And of course, green frog toys in all forms are also sold here. Stuff sold here can be found elsewhere I'm sure. But, this makes for a good stop in case you are lacking time to shop around and are already headed out for the ferry.

Downtown Burlington is a very small city and church street marketplace feels like a mall I find in middle America. We came on 11/30/19 and there was a nice big tree. This marketplace is about 3 blocks long and is a small strip of small local stores/ shops/restaurants/ and art galleries. The family and I spent about 1.5-2 hours exploring, shopping, and perusing local goods. If your in the area this place is definitely worth checking out.

It's very pleasant to stroll along Church Street, especially in the summertime and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and people watch. Church Street Marketplace has a mixture of chain and local stores. You can find everything from used books, to outdoor gear to name brand clothing. My favorite stores at Golden Hour where you can find lots of cute gifts, Smugglers Notch Distillery where you can sample delicious vodka, gin, bourbon, and maple liqueur, and Flora & Fauna - a second floor store filled with curiosities and oddities. Unfortunately, The 10,000 Villages store that I always enjoyed visiting, the Sox Market, and the Earthbound Store that I always found beautiful clothing in have all closed. There's also a great Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop on Church Street, several restaurants in a range of price levels, and some very comfortable cafes. Definitely a place you will want to spend some time visiting when you are in Burlington.

In the summer, they give free hayrides during the Clinton County Fair. Mary the horse is very sweet and the cows and goats will also say hello! In the fall you can pick gorgeous sunflowers and take pictures in the fields. During Halloweekend you can go through the corn mazes and pick out your favorite pumpkin. This place is perfect for families too, the children can visit the petting zoo where the pigs, donkeys, goats roam free in the fences. You can actually walk into their gates and play with them. We loved meeting the baby goat, Loco and her mother Coco! The pigs love their belly rubs and will fall over when scratching them! It's very cute. Many of the things to do here are free so great value! They sell local apples, gifts and fun things in their gift shop too. Supporting the local farms in town is great for the community here. This is one of my favorite local farms to visit in town!

Hubs needed souvenirs for his family and I had a few more people to get for my family. I also let our son haphazardly pick out some things to buy as well.
