Ollie's is a liquidation center where you can find all kinds of brand name items for less. When you first walk, you'll notice a large selection of books and toys. There's also lots of food and household items, some clothes, beauty products, decorations, bedding, electronics, hardware, etc. I found some lovely Yankee Candle large signature candles for $7.99 when they are normally sold full price at $30 at the Yankee store. Things to take note - not everything is a great deal, if you shop at Costco or Sam's Club you may notice similar or cheaper prices there - for example, Kcup coffee pods - not so cheap at Ollie's. In terms of clothing, there's a limited selection, many outdated styles by today's standards. I saw a bunch of genuine leather jackets which looked like they were from the 90's or early 2000s, sold at very low prices (under $20). There are tons of large carpets and rugs on display, ideal if you need to redecorate, also great selection of bathroom towels and matts. It's the kind of place you need to check back often as the stock varies greatly.

Slate is definitely one of those stores. I stopped in on Christmas Eve just to browse around and I wish I could have bought everything in the place! The items are unique, interesting, and high quality. There are kitchen gadgets, bar cart fixings, home decor items, greeting cards, jewelry...the list goes on.
