I chose America's Mattress and was I lucky. The owner, Larry, answered all of my questions and made some suggestions for locally trying out which type of mattress would be best. Once done, we were able to accomplish over the phone, a wonderul price and great delivery time. Once the mattress arrived on time he was a wonderful help setting everything up for her since I had to leave earlier. My daughter tried to give him a tip, but he wouldn't accept one. By the way, she loves the mattress, I felt secure that he was honest, the price was very fair, and everyone was happy. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a mattress. Thank you so much Larry!

I had…read moreinitially tried The Superstore and truthfully didn't have a great experience there in terms of customer service... I wish I had gone to VT Mattress from the jump! As soon as I walked into VT Mattress, Teresa immediately greeted me and was extremely friendly and attentive, although I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for. She quickly directed me to about 4 or 5 mattresses, which was very helpful because again, I'm not super knowledgeable about mattresses and it's a bit overwhelming to walk in and have all these mattresses in front of you. She let me have time to myself to try them out, and would check in to answer any questions I had. They didn't have a huge selection of mattresses, which in my opinion is preferable because you can quickly get overwhelmed in having a hundred mattresses to choose from. This isn't saying that their selection isn't good, because it absolutely is, and you don't have to be an expert in mattresses to recognize the quality of their selection. I had gone into the store a little before closing and told her I would be back, and when I did return with my dad and was ready to make a purchase, she remembered who I was and what mattresses I had tried previously, and kindly answered all his questions as well. I was in a bit of a time crunch because I was moving into my new home within a few days and Teresa was again very helpful in answering questions about delivery, then was able to order the mattress (it wasn't in stock at the store) immediately so that I could get it as soon as possible. It only took about a week for the mattress to come in and when it did, she called me right away and was very accommodating in having it delivered. I could have had it delivered over the weekend, which was an amazing possibility, but I unfortunately had to work, so the delivery service was able to deliver it Monday morning instead. The whole experience was truly great and left me feeling extremely happy and satisfied in my purchase. I'm also so happy to support a local business! The quality of the mattress I purchased is great, and I have no doubts that it will last me years to come. I will definitely recommend Vermont Mattress to anyone in the future.

Thankfully, the husband and wife team that own Vermont Mattress and Bedroom do neither. I bought a guest bed from them fall 2020 and was highly pleased with the entire experience. I had shown up on my birthday, same day I'd closed on my new home, not knowing they were closed and the owner Theresa just happened to be there saw me looking in the window, and invited me in to look around. They have a vast array of the most well known and top brand names in mattresses and boxsprings. They Las carry high end bedroom furniture at great values. Theresa is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to and work with. I ordered the perfect guest bedroom bed and frame and got a great deal. Well, I needed a new mattress for myself this year and went again to see Theresa and tried out a bed I had been seeing ads for online, the Awara. Not only did I love the bed, but Theresa offered me the SAME price with the SAME extras that Awara was offering online, essentially making it the perfect deal. The bed was delivered for free within a week or so. You can do a 0% credit card for 24-36 months with Synchronicity through the store if you have a need. The establishment is clean, well lit and easy to navigate. I highly recommend them.

**5-Star Raving Review - These people are actual legends**…read more I cannot say enough good things about Choice Furniture - they turned what could have been a frustrating, expensive headache into one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I had a sectional couch that I paid good money for 3 years ago and the cushions had worn out. I figured I would have to buy replacement cushions I reached out, mostly just to ask if they had any suggestions. Instead of the usual "sorry, nothing we can do" corporate response I expected, I got: - A real human who actually seemed to care - The owner/manager personally jumped on the thread - They dug through old receipts and located my order. - Offered to replace the cushion at no cost to me. - Expedited the whole thing because they knew I was having family over for the holidays - Threw in new foam upgrade at no extra charge because "the old foam was probably tired anyway" It arrived perfectly matched, beautifully made, ahead of schedule, and honestly looks better than the original. In 2025 when most companies treat you like a number (or worse - an inconvenience), Choice Furniture treated me like family who just had some bad luck. They went so far above and beyond that I genuinely feel weird about only being able to give them 5 stars. If I could give 10, I would. If you're on the fence about buying from them - don't be. These are the kind of people you want to support. They still believe in doing right by their customers, even when they don't *have* to. Thank you, Choice Furniture of Plattsburgh - you're the gold standard. I'll be sending everyone I know your way. Most enthusiastic customer you'll ever have, Steve C
