It is a pretty hipster little store, and everything inside would be both useful to have in your home and serve as a conversation starter with guests. The items are unique, interesting, and high quality. There are kitchen gadgets, bar cart fixings, home decor items, greeting cards, jewelry...the list goes on. She said she was unable to find the issue, and said she would need to bring it back to the bench to look at it. In all honesty, she did briefly mention a $45 bench fee. She said to come back within 20 minutes and she should have it fixed by then. That surprised me because she said she didn't know what was wrong with it. When I came back to pick it up, the owner (?) was at the counter and charged me $48+. I asked what was wrong with it, and she said it was a bad plug. I was shocked by the price, and queried, " You're going to charge me $48 for a $3 plug and work that would've taken about five minutes?" Her reply was curt and somewhat rude. She told me that they had to cover their bills somehow. To me, this was terrible customer service. It is my theory that the young lady at the counter could tell right away that it was just the plug when she examined it. I felt scammed. I would've happily bought a plug from them and done it myself if I only I had known. It would have been good customer service if she would have worked with me, but this woman was unwilling to budge. I tried communicating with them through email, asking if we could come to some sort of compromised bill. No one ever responded to any of my emails. Poor customer service doesn't pay in the end, but I had to!! $48 was a lot of money out of my very limited income.

I really liked this store, from the aesthetic to the ethos of the company. And shockingly enough, everything was priced correctly, not marked up for tourists or because they are trying to make huge profit margins off of the less fortunate. There were many an item I wanted to purchase but I just didn't have room in my "personal item under the seat" bag. One day I'll think about that bicycle pizza cutter as I'm slicing my home made pizza and a single tear will roll down my cheek at the things missed. But really, there is so much in this highly organized shop and you could spend a good amount of time perusing the aisles, finding that special thing you've always wanted but never knew you needed.

It was totally insensitive and rude. I had just started the conversation and had never met them before. I'm trans and I felt like she spat in my face. She sized me up and then insulted me, personally, just for asking. I'm probably the first customer they've had that even cares. They also carry a lot of products with very poor condition. I had to return a hemp bag after only a week because it fell apart, and then they didn't even have the same bag to replace it.

Incredibly well made furniture, each chair, table, bed, couch and desk were made beautifully! If I had the money for just one thing I would have splurged on a new bed, especially the one with the over head shelves! A girl can dream. The store is well designed with beautiful paintings and rugs, throws so soft I wanted to cuddle with it right there and then, the beds coordinating blankets seemed to compliment the wood and design of the bed in a fascinating way that made me wonder a little bit about home decor (another thing I love other than food!) All in all, this is a top notch maker of furniture, well made and beautiful! I will surely stop in again.
