Cool place with some front window seats, 4 booths and a larger table that fits 10 or so people. Their specialty looks to be a juicy lucy aka patty stuff with cheese the melts when you cook it. I ended up getting a cheeseburger combo. The burgers are good. They're in tough competition with some really good burgers down the street...which are about $10+ more expensive though. Combo your meal for $4 which gives you fries and drink. I enjoy the fries as well. They also have some interesting sides like tornado fries, poutine, sweet potato fries and a few others which I think you can upgrade to. I'll be back to try other things but wanted to put it in your radar if you're in the area.

I didn't even know this was a thing before I stepped into this restaurant. The lovely lady at the front explained that it's essentially a halal way to have bacon, and it is pretty similar. Not quite bacon, but a good alternative. We added it to our burger but I ate it separately to get the full experience. I would go back here! Not sure I would add the bacon, but I would certainly enjoy a burger again.

I will say that in 30 years of having poutine, this is by far some of the BEST poutine I've ever had. Despite the gravy, the fries are CRISP and it almost looks like there's a 1 to 1 ratio of fries to cheese curds (and more than enough gravy to drown it all). We ordered a single large to share between the two of us (we had a long road trip still and didn't want to totally destroy our systems while sitting in a car for 4 hours) and it was more than enough food. Despite not a lot of customers, the place is busy and there was a small wait while our food was prepared but it was 100% worth it! Staff is friendly and took my English and mixed French stumbling in stride. Absolutely get here if you love poutine, even if you have to travel thousands of miles.

Kinda feels like a semi-permanent establishment. Smash Daddy Burger - A double patty of flattened beef was delicious. It was a melange of flavours that worked very well. I wish the patty was more crispy so that there is more texture in the patty. Naked Fries - The spiced fries were one of the best fries I've had. Fries were super crispy with fluffy interior. There was a good amount of seasoning on the fries making it tasty in flavour and texture. Would come back just for this!

I would come back again.

The Short Version: Burgers and fries place. Smash burger was…read moretoo salty for my liking. Chicken burger was delicious. Fries portion was generous. The Long Version: My husband and I had lunch here. We shared a cheeseburger ($9.50), a chicken sandwich ($12.95) and an order of fries ($5). The cheeseburger was a smash burger with cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and their burger sauce. There was too much sauce for my liking and the meat was too salty for my tastes, but other than that the burger was ok. The meat was smashed really thin and the edges were crispy. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich more. The chicken sandwich had a breaded chicken breast, coleslaw, pickles and chicken sauce. We got ours medium spice. It wasn't spicy at all, lol. The chicken was a good thickness and was tender and moist. We enjoyed this more than the cheeseburger. I liked that the bun they use is a plain bun without seeds in it. The buns were soft. The fries were a good portion size. I'm glad we shared one portion. They were hot and crispy and had the skins on. They were regular cut, not skinny, but not too thick. You order at the cash register, pay and they give you your order number. When your food is ready they call out your number and bring it to your table if you're dining in. When you're done, you throw out your own garbage and stack the empty tray on top of the garbage area. Service was pleasant and the food didn't take long. There are seats inside to dine in and also seats on the patio out front. There's a single universal washroom that is wheelchair accessible for the entire restaurant. Since the restaurant is small, I feel this was sufficient. It was clean. Street parking or paid parkade parking only. Review #187 (2025)

Don't come here hungry! Wow!…read moreThis popped up when I plugged in 'butcher' near me. 15 min away. My first visit was a Sat. So busy! And for good reason. I was blown away by all the meat, the prepared goods. Burger counter. Some seating. Freezer choices. Some dried goods, bread. I got away with Chorizo, some lean ground beef and some beautiful olive oil. Is this place cheap? No! But, I pay for quality without batting an eye. Especially foodie stuff. Next round was a Tuesday aft. Ahhh. Better. I could see everything, not so packed. It was just after a long weekend so some things were sold out but I grabbed more lean beef, a chicken parm portion, a beef Jamaican patty and a stuffed potato. All were good! The chicken portion from the fresh cabinet was $11.50! More than my lb of ground beef! But it was a filling piece and fed me x 2. I love this place.

I found the…read moreprice to be a bit more expensive than I would normally pay for a burger meal, but I got a ridiculous amount of food for what I paid, so it's a great value for big eaters. The quality, on the other hand, is not the greatest. I got the Green Monster with avocado, bacon, cheddar cheese, and roasted garlic and chili aioli. The burgers and toppings are fresh, but my bread was stale, and because of the size of the burger, the bread got soggy really fast and it all turned into a sloppy mess. The taste was pretty good but they were heavy on the aioli and I would have preferred the avocado sliced instead of made into a kind of mush. There were a ton of sweet potato fries, more than I would ever need as a side, but they were soggy and overcooked. I asked for a side of chipotle mayo for dipping - if the sweet potato fries were crispy, they would have tasted a lot better together. Overall, cost is higher than fast food but affordable, portion is huge, taste is good, but a pretty messy. Worth it if you're in the mood for a big, greasy, homemade burger!
