Definitely one of the smallest seating areas out there. I'm not sure there were even 25 seats. Staff were okay. For some reason, the location was closed a full 30 minutes before the stated hours on the door, which led to several random groups of customers trying unsuccessfully trying to enter the place, along with the frustrated hollering and yelling. I'd be frustrated too if I were in their situation. Honestly this is the fault of the operators of this place. Knock 1 star off. The cone was on the small side for some reason. Coffee was okay though.

I really like that Veras is in Port Moody, I like that they support the LGBT community and the pride parade and I like that offer so many toppings and specials. I like the decor. I really like that Veras uses good quality meat and fresh ingredients/toppings, the soda machine is very flavourful and bubbly, I like the craft beer and alcohol selection. The portions are good too. They have many different specials for the day or different sports events. I really like the veggie burger, I would recommend it with two patty's since it's very light compared to the beef burgers. I like ordering my burger with "the works". The bathrooms are not gender neutral at this location but they are clean. Ordering ahead is very easy and stress-free/simple.

I ordered their Tuna-Up burger and it was cooked perfectly with all the right flavours. I use to order the tuna burger all the time when it was available at Brown's Social House. Although it wasn't on the menu.....I was able to order it and the kitchen would just cook it up but not anymore. For me, the tuna burger is what I enjoy since I find it as a healthier option. If you're like me and really enjoy tuna........you have to try the Tuna-Up at Vera's. Its fairly priced like their burgers. Onion rings at Vera's are well made...perfect amount of batter. The only thing I don't like about onion rings in the amount of oils that drips from them.....hey, you only live once and its well worth it. GO and try their Tuna-Up burger with onion rings! I'm hoping it's a permanent option on their menu.

ONE STAR -- GAVE THIS LOCATION ANOTHER CHANCE. BIG MISTAKE…read more I came to this A&W at 10:50 AM today after avoiding this location for about a year because my last experience was so bad. I decided to give them another chance and ordered two of the $6.99 breakfasts. Unfortunately, nothing has improved. The scrambled eggs were basically tiny crumbs and almost impossible to eat with the cardboard fork. There were no hash browns at all. The toast wasn't toasted, so I returned it--and when it came back, it was still barely toasted. By then, everything else was ice cold. I asked for ketchup and was given two packets for two breakfasts, yet the customer right after me received four packets for one order. I asked for ice: no ice. Hot sauce: none. Peanut butter: none. What bothered me most was the service. The young employee helping me came across as rude and dismissive, and I had difficulty understanding her. There seemed to be absolutely no concern about whether the order was correct or whether the customer was satisfied. For $6.99, I wasn't expecting a gourmet breakfast--but I did expect the breakfast I ordered, properly prepared, served warm, and with basic condiments available. Easily the worst service I've experienced at an A&W. I gave this location another chance after a year away, and I won't make that mistake again. I cannot recommend this location. Also, the place was very dirty in the kitchen was very dirty looking counters. A dirty floors are dirty again stay far away from this place.

I tried two sandwiches: the Haida Hot, rated 4/5 and priced at $17.99, and the Haida Royal, rated 3/5 at $21.99. I also ordered a small pizza, the Haida Pizza, which was rated 3/5 and costs $16.99. Both sandwiches were good; the bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They were a decent size and made neatly, the addition of hickory stick chips inside the sandwiches is a interesting touch. The pizza was okay, but for its small size, it would be best suited for a child to eat on their own. The size reminded me of the pizza that McDonald's used to offer, and at $17, I found it a bit steep. Overall, the service was good. The staff recommended the most popular items, which was helpful since it was my first visit to Haida. However, I do think the prices are a bit high for what you get.
