Called just for a quote for a 16x7 residential garage door. After talking to them for a few min, the guy wanted pictures and me to double check measurements. I thought that was great, he knew what information he needed and could gather what I needed from that. After talking a little more I had thought that planning a week out for installation would be thoughtful, but nope, we landed on them coming out THE NEXT DAY! Absolutely stunning! They came right in the time frame, with a heads up call. Only took them a couple hours and I cannont believe the results. it completely changes how the garage looks now! I am so pleased with the work done by the Arturo and his sons. I called to get an estimate and Arturo was very competitive. He offered me a really good deal on the garage door and opener, beating all other estimates that I got from other companies. My house was built in 1958. One company was not willing to do the work and another said it could not be done. He came the day after I called and said it will be difficult but could be done. Sure enough he did it and did it well. He ordered the door the same day as I offered him the job, and installed it as soon as it came in even over the holidays. Let me start off by saying if I could give A & S six stars, I would. We had called on Thursday and made an appointment for a Saturday at 1pm and they were on the dot, at exactly 1pm. I was impressed enough with that because usually when you make an appointment with a technician they give you a huge window like 4 hours. They gave me a time and they were there exactly when they said they would be. Arthur (the owner) and his 2 sons identified the problem immediately and wasted no time getting to work. With my GDO being 21 years old, it was time to replace it. In under 45 minutes they removed the old one and installed a new one. They also were very clean as they left my garage the exact same way it was before, not a bolt or washer to be found. During one of our coldest days, my garage door decides to fall off the rails. I need to get to work soon and can't find the card of the company that fixed it last time. My son gave me Arturo's name after he called him for a garage door problem. I am so glad that he's our go to guy now. We recently had a serious issue with our garage door when some of the wheels came off the track and the door was hanging sideways. When I called and gave him a description of the problem he arranged to have one of his service trucks come out that afternoon. We had a broken spring on our garage door and were unable to open it. After having poor communication & service from another local garage door company, we found A & S. Reached out to A&S, and the father and son came out the next morning. They came exactly when they stated they will come out. They were on time. They replaced my rusted cable which broke on one side. They recommended I replace the rollers and seal at the bottom of the garage. The seal was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. They had all the parts. My wife stated the garage door sounded a bit quieter after the door was serviced. They also lubricated the springs, roller wheels for both garage doors. After talking to at least 6 different companies. Hired one for my tenants house. Guy said a week. well after a week I ended with that guy and went on the internet for garage repair guys to call me. Crew showed up to estimate once they found out the reason our garage door kept opening and closing..... Unfortunately, a new garage door opener (the existing was 12 years old) repairs were was warranted versus repairing the existing opener. The crew of three worked as an orchestra knowing the next move in the correct sequence. It was a lesson in planning and doing. Great job. I purchased the door and opener from them and wanted someone familiar their products.
