For the millwork I purchased interior doors, mouldings, wainscot, fiberglass columns, and exterior, Azek and fir for facia, soffit material etc.. Once the framing was complete, Mike came out to the house before the quote to measure everything and make sure the 2 dozen doors had the correct opening orientation and size. We went over many molding profiles and door styles. The price was very competitive and it was an easy decision. Once we got started, Mike was always quick to respond and when I needed a few add on pieces the truck was there for delivery to keep my schedule on track. I wish all of my suppliers were as good! They are a family business with a showroom just off from Rt 35. I couldn't get to it so I was even given a free ride to go and see for myself what the products look like from Doug the salesman. Then there's Mindy who is on top of contacting me and making sure there is communication and then Rob and his team of two other installers. The whole bunch had a great sense of humor, and really enjoyed their jobs! They came on time and offered professional service but still maintaining a great easy-going vibe. The installers were extremely efficient and had window replacement to a science! They cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess! Rob has 32 years of windows installation experience and it shows. The guys were down to earth and humble too! They packed all the equipment into the truck neatly! It is one of the neatest and cleanest work trucks I have ever seen! I spied a cooler in their truck! If you get Doug as your salesman, ask him to show you one of his best assets, a cap that his wife bought him. It is a very familiar red and I thought could it be? Then Doug turns around and his cap reads "Make Windows Great Again!" That was too precious! I told him he could offer those for sale too! After installation, I had some issues with the mechanics of the windows and Michele was on it ASAP and dispatched Doug out to see what the issues were. Great customer service! He measured and told us those were base measurements, when we got closer to the install date he would come out to measure again to ensure everything was perfect. Our lead time was 8 weeks. We also had some odd and special request items; an old door to nowhere needed to be converted to a window and two dormer rooms needed special order, special size sliders. Jeff didn't blink an eye at it. When the install time came his guys were professional and courteous. They knew the job, did it quickly and with little fuss, and cleaned up nicely. Carley, Jeff's daughter, and office manager kept me informed all along the way. The carpenter brought in to do the conversion had some issues with the location due to a tree growing right in that outdoor spot. Once he told us what he needed we said we would take care of it. He came back the following week and helped my husband get things squared away so he could do his work. He did an excellent job. Overall we are very happy with the windows. We did want to do doors, but we are on a tight budget. Jeff only deals with higher-end doors and it just wasn't in our budget - but I am sure they would have turned out just as well as the windows. Ziv fixed a lock that everyone else gave up on…read more The inside handle on my front door broke off. As my door has an unusual mortise lock, finding a replacement was extremely challenging. I had to call several locksmiths and Mul-T-Lock itself before I found Ziv. He immediately recognized this ("that's an Italian door"). He had the handles in stock, filed them to fit, fashioned a spindle, and had every back together and working. He also took the time to correct other problems with the lock, including a stripped screw and bent deadbolt. Impressed with his work, and sensing this was a good opportunity to get everything fixed at once, I had him re-key the cylinder. Turns out the previous locksmith had broken it (which explained why my key didn't work on the inside of the door). Ziv replaced it with a new cylinder. He showed off his cleverness by reusing the old parts and drilling an access hole for the set screw. Despite taking longer than expected, he stuck to his original quoted price.
