I told her my door was custom made in 2003 by Anderson and that I had Anderson out yesterday and they are telling me that the door is 63 1/2", she told me that wasn't possible, then I sent her the pictures. She gives me a price over the phone $1195.00 plus tax and then said they would not email me the quote and told me that they would charge me a measurement fee to come and measure the door and I would have to give them a deposit. That is absolutely ridiculous.

I stopped by the next day and I was told my order was misplaced and I'd be contacted when my order was ready. I stopped by twice (once per week) in the following weeks, which resulted in a total of three visits, plus one phone call. My product was never made and I never received a call back to have the measurements retaken so the item could be made. While the office staff was courteous, I am sadly disappointed by the service.

TL:DR don't hire this contractor…read more I had to terminate my contract with this contractor for a number of reasons, but ultimately due to him having abandoned the project, poor installation quality, and failing to meet expectations on timelines. As far as poor quality, he bought too large of windows and cut into them to make them fit preventing proper installation of capping (which I had to now hire a separate contractor to complete the job). He did not insulate around the window in any sort of way. He didn't align the bathroom window so that it can open freely to clean the outside. He covered the weeping holes which is unacceptable as it's critical to allow rain water to drain. The trim installation was unacceptable and incomplete. Again, I had to hire another contractor to remove the trim he installed. As far as timelines, you estimated 1 days worth of work and the job so far has taken almost 2 months! He attempted to get more money out of me because he poorly estimated the project.

The woman who answered the phone said she could absolutely fill a custom order for glass vanity shelves. She could have the edges polished, too. I was so relieved that I started to tear up.
