This was my first time having my nails done by Quin as my usual nail tech was out of town. She came highly recommended and did not disappoint one bit! I had an incredible experience. Quinn is so skilled at her craft and incredibly patient and friendly. I gave her a picture for reference of what design I wanted and she made it so much better! She really took her time and made sure I liked her design every step of the way. Can't say enough great things!

I had an appointment today 7/3/24 with Wendy. She did a great job and I loved how my nails turned out. I would definitely recommend this place and also Wendy, she was so friendly. It was about $50 after tip for the manicure.

Oh my gosh!! This nail salon is awesome!! I had a young man named Jack do my nails! This young man is sooo talented! I show him any pic of how I'd like to have my nails done and this guy can do it! I ask for a design and he ALWAYS delivers more than what I expect!! I've used other people there as well and I've NEVER been disappointed!! The salon is clean and can be VERY busy so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making an appointment! If you're looking for a nail salon where talent is NOT LACKING then visit A & J Nail Salon! The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because MY experience was what I expected. I wanted to take my boyfriend to get his first pedicure, but we decided last minute and went with this salon because of the reviews. I was very excited he was going to have his first experience and wanted to make sure he got the best possible service. He works hard on his feet and I wanted him to feel pampered. We asked for two deluxe pedicures, we were seated almost immediately, everyone was polite, and seemed like they were happy to help us. An older lady started my boyfriend's pedicure first, and then my tech started no more than 5 minutes later. As we're getting our pedicures I noticed she hadn't scrubbed the bottom of his feet, while my tech was scrubbing away and he was already farther into his pedicure. I even told him "I can't wait till she scrubs your feet." Little did I know she wouldn't do half the services included in the deluxe. The older lady finishes his pedicure without doing the scrubbing, the hot stones, AND the massage. I asked my boyfriend after if she did these services and he said no. (I already knew she didn't because I was paying attention the whole time) So, I politely ask her to do the services and she plays innocent and says she did them in a innocent tone. (This was me giving her a chance to complete the service) I looked away because debating with her there would not have gotten the results I was looking for. As we go up to pay I told the desk assistant that we got 1 deluxe service and 1 basic service. He confirms with the lady and still asks me to pay for 2 deluxe. I explain to him that she didn't do the scrubbing, hot stones, or massage. He proceeds to tell me she's claiming she completed all the services. I stuck with what happened and he called over another lady. I explain to her the situation, she tried to give me $5 off and I said "No, she didn't complete his services, my tech did everything right but his didn't." Luckily she charged me for 1 basic and 1 deluxe. This experience was unfortunate for my boyfriend considering it was his first pedicure experience. I'll be going back to my original salon in PD, called Vinny's nails, they're amazing. read more

I love going to A&J Nail Spa. The nail techs are all very skilled at many different nail treatments. They are also a very clean salon. One of the things I love most about A&J is that the nail techs always make sure you love your nails! I highly recommend this salon. read more

I decided to give A&J Nails a try. I was looking for a change from my previous salon. I called the day before and made and appointment for a full set with Jason, and a pedicure with Corey. While this salon takes a little more time than my previous salon, the quality is fantastic. I went with a coffin set, and the spa pedi. Super impressed with this salon! Everyone is very friendly, and this salon is so clean! I already scheduled my fill for 2 weeks! read more

Jason is awesome when he does my nails I drive all the way from San Diego to get my nails done by him, It's totally worth the 2 hour drive to get my nails done here. They have a wode selection of colors to choose from, as well as, designs. By far the best nail salon. His sister Amy is remarkable when it comes to pedicures and doing eyebrows, my one stop shop to looking and feeling great. read more

I went in today as a walk in. After carefully reviewing other nail salons near me, the fact that this place had all stars is what called me over. I ended up coming today with an open mind. The wait was a bit long but the staff here was so friendly and kind. As I am sitting, I am watching the interactions that were taking place. None of the technicians were in a rush which is good. This is what helps provide quality nails. The last thing I want is to be rushed and not able to enjoy the experience. It's not often that I go to get my nails but when I do, I am glad that this business provided a great experience overall. The nail technician was knowledgeable and easy going. I felt like this place was a bit pricey but to be honest, it was worth it. read more

Was really hesitant about going here at first since my favorite place was Fancy Nails in Coachella, but I'm so happy that I decided to give A&J a chance! Chi is amazing when it comes to gel manicures and she is so nice. My gel lasted me 3 weeks, no cracking, discoloration or lifting on the edges!! I decided to take it off because my nails had grown and I didn't have time to go get another manicure and I was amazed! Usually the gel will leave my nails super brittle...not this time! SOO happy I went here. Wait was long but the place was pretty full. The lady who did my finger nails was super quick and did such an amazing job!! Showed her what I wanted and she got all the colors and made it happen!!! The lady on my feet was so so but she got the job done! Not anymore I've been going sometimes there good other depending who you get they rush and drop you for a white customer. Today as I was getting my pedicure they remove the lady working on me so she can help a white customer. I wasn't even half way done when the new girl polish my nails and done. Then another guy came came to do my nails all in a hurry left me half ways to go get my eyelashes done so now I have half ass pedicure and half ass nails to get my lashes done. Why? I've observed them and no one has been moved around as they did me today and other times this time I had it. So I left crying asking why they would treat a paying customer just like anyone else. Keep in mind I asked when I walk in if they had time I would've been more then happy to make an appointment as long as my services be done right not how they treated me. They want to say that the girl who finish my polish had an appointment if that was the case why move the First Lady. read more

I have been getting my nails done at A & J nails since I moved to Indio approximately 3 years ago minus 1 COVID year. I began making appointments ahead of time requesting Tim or Jack because there were times I was unhappy with a few other technicians. About five days ago I called and made an appointment for a dip and a pedicure with Tim for 10 am September 7. This was a critical appointment because I am scheduled to travel out of the country on Friday. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. The receptionist advised Tim I was here. (This is what I think she said). I was busy picking a color. Tim comes up to me and ask who I had an appointment with. My response was "you". I could see the confusion on his face. He went back to the customer he was servicing at the time. I went over to the receptionist and asked "what's going on, Tim seemed surprised I was there for him." She said she had me on the books for anybody. I explained that I always request Tim or Jack and whoever made the appointment made a mistake. Her response was Jack is not there today and Tim is booked all day. She made no apology nor tried to rebook me. I was very angry. As I was leaving Tim walked up and apologized. I left without a response. No need to respond because obviously my business was not important. I will not be returning! read more

Jack is literally the BESTEST!!! I always request him to do my pedicure and he never disappoints. He's super professional and friendly. He takes his time and makes you feel comfortable. He's also gentle which is what I love about him, as in the past some pedicures have been too rough for me. I been definitely a returning customer and will continue to be as long as Jack is there. My daughter also loves getting her eye brows waxed there, she loves how Chi does them. Very professional and love the outcome every time! When I walked in they took my temperature and had me put hand sanitizer, also sell masks for those that don't have one which I love! Adam did my nails and the first picture is when I first got them done, the other is 2 weeks later. It was a decent price, around what I thought it would be. Scam Alert- I dropped my daughter off for a mani-pedi. Cost should of been around 55. This place charged her 77 dollars and then on top of that they got a 15% tip for a total $90. We called to discuss it, very difficult to understand , just states she got a bunch of upgrades that she didn't ask for. Totally took advantage of a teenager. To bad because between the four girls in my household that usually go there ,they made good money. Not any more read more

The salon is off Dune Palm, there was plenty of parking. Really nice large space, I arrived a few minutes early and Sophia took me right back. I would never say that waxing is fun, but Sophia was very friendly and made me feel at ease, and the time actually flew by. Honestly I am a nail technician who's pregnant so I can't do my own toes and I regret coming here.. pro: no one before me (RED FLAG) Used a clean buff (orange square) and new sanding band Con: they don't accept credit/debt . They do zelle and cash #sketchy - dirty zebra file When the lady took off my gel polish- used the sanding band and just drilled off and did 30 seconds of acetone and then went back to drilling only using the top of the sanding band aka it cuts your nail and cuticle. Just wanted a simple white toe and she flooded my side walls and i had to ask her to fix it if not she was about to let me walk out with some fugly toes. You're better off booking a pedicure private nail tech. I should have known when walking in there was only one person there getting serviced. Do not recommend! Now i have to pay someone else to fix my toes cause damn read more

I can't say enough good things about Joy. Just left the nail salon. This was my third visit for an ingrown toenail, and each time has been a great experience. Joy takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, so I know exactly what to expect during the procedure. She explains it will hurt and will ask again if she can proceed if I'm okay with that. Her kindness and compassion really make a difference, and I genuinely appreciate her care. I would definitely rate my experience and recommend with her a 10 out of 10. I called the Nail Salon as soon as they opened to see if I could come in to get a manicure prior to going into work as I work all day and would not make it before closing. My call was answered by a male employee, the employee in his own words said: "Oh no, males don't do males nails here, you come in at 10 am when we have female employee." This establishment obviously has Homophobic male employees/owners and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Second time going here and really can not recommend for pedicures. First time they cutt the bottOm of my foot which is the first picture and I thought ok I'll try again just a mistake but tthjs time they trashed the top of my foot. I even told her to stop and she didn't. I paid for uppgrsdEs but could even enjoy it because my foot was burning from the cutt and stuff being put on it afteRR very disappointed.
