After 24 days of waiting for my belongings they arrived..... all of the boxes that were packed by myself and my boyfriend had all been gone through and rearranged. Priceless family heirlooms of deceased family members were stolen. 15 pairs of limited edition Adidas (totaling 4K) were stolen, a pair of Gucci sunglasses, an $800 bottle of wine, those are the large items....there's more. They also broke our 2,000 couch, my sons bed was completely decimated, both of my large dressers are broken, basically all of our furniture was broken. I contacted both J&J Moore and West Coast Van Lines who said they would compensate, I have yet to hear back from them. They both gave me the number to the insurance company, which I called, they said they would not be able to help and to call to make a police report..... what will that do? So basically they doubled the moving price, added the $1,500.00 for moving the truck and now I'm out about 10K due to their thievery and carelessness. All while I have 2 sick parents and a brother diagnosed with cancer...... I am beside myself. I have contacted the national fraud hotline on both companies and will file a police report and will be serving them with court papers.
