I called Junk Vets and got a call back immediately and arranged to have someone come by for an estimate later that afternoon. The estimate from Junk Vets was fair (and they honored the estimate when there ended up being more stuff than originally guessed.) They take all credit cards, and were genuinely appreciative when tipped. I had them come out in two separate trips and the guys were friendly, understanding, fast and hard-working. I was desperately looking for a furniture pick up service to haul my living room furniture and table when I found Junk Vets. Initially, I was skeptical to hire them because they didn't ask for a picture and just gave me a quote over the phone. They gave me a late appointment on a Friday which was manageable. I work from home and typically don't finish until about 6 pm so I figured I'd move appointments around so that I'm available late Friday afternoon. On the day of service they called me around noon and asked if they can stop by in 45 mins. Initially I was annoyed because now I had to move my appointments around a second time. When the gentlemen arrived they were in and out in 5 minutes. I was between appointments and it worked out really well. There wasn't any true disruption. My concern was that they weren't going to be able to move the furniture out of the house. When furniture was delivered a few years ago the delivery guys had difficulty squeezing it through the door. Junk Vets took the feet off of the couches and very carefully removed the glass off of the glass table and were gone all within 5 mins....excellent work and I'll definitely be calling them again for service. It is extremely difficult trying to recycle TVs, especially floor model TVs. But a couple of family members of mine had a TV that died after over a decade and wanted to get a new one. Because it didn't work, charities were out of the question, but they were adamant about attempting to recycle it as opposed to dumping it in an alley or ending up in a landfill. After calling several well-known recycling pickup locations, who will remain nameless, and finding out that they didn't service that area (big mistake) I finally lucked up on this one.
