In fact, I was so impressed by their personable, thoughtful and accommodating approach, I had them simultaneously renovate two additional bathrooms in addition to the laundry/utility room and bathroom in the basement. I have had increasing challenges with rheumatoid arthritis and Dave Taghipour, the owner, and Oksana, the designer, listened carefully to my current obstacles in these spaces and worked with me to develop beautiful, accessible, spaces where form follows function. Their showroom has a wide variety of samples, but they are also flexible about incorporating clients' specific choices. Compared to other design/install companies in the area, they are far less costly and finished all 4 spaces within the initial timeframe they had initially quoted and kept me updated throughout the renovation. The Eco workers are very reliable, friendly and respectful of the clients' space and belongings. Not only did they cover and vent all work areas, they cleaned and tidied up every night and Eco had my house professionally cleaned at the end of the work. I could go on and on about how impressed I am with All Eco and their work, but the final pictures say it all. I love showing off my gorgeous bathrooms and laundry room, which, because All Eco put additional effort into listening and understanding my specific needs/challenges given my disabilities, has made daily use of these space worlds easier for me. And seven years later, i still smile whenever i walk into my All Eco renovated kitchen and master bath, both of which have remained easy for me to navigate despite a considerable decline in my physical function thanks to All Eco's compassionate attention to my specific needs during the design and build. Extremely professional workmanship, custom design to include accessibility features…read more I was hesitant to do this project (full redo of 2 bathrooms), as I was concerned about disturbing the integrity of our 1950's-built home. But as the saying goes, "happy wife, happy life," or "happy spouse, happy house." After receiving several quotes, we decided to select All Eco Design Center as our contractor due to the customization features we could select, their extensive knowledge of homes in our area, and seeing some of their previous work. We started the process by sending some inspiration pictures to Oksana (designer) and Dave (owner). Our goal for this project was to maintain the structural integrity of the house and update the bathrooms while maintaining the character of the house and incorporating accessibility features without looking too clinical. After a few design sessions, Oksana and Dave captured our design via 3D model, and proposed some recommendations. I appreciated that Dave's company is a full-service operation, with teams specializing in tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall/finishing, etc. Yuri the project manager was also very attentive and thorough. Each employee's craftsmanship showed they were invested in completing the job as if they were doing it for their own home. As no construction project goes without some minor complications, it is noteworthy that this team is accessible and timely to deal with any unexpected events, ensuring the project is completed to the customer's vision. Now...more than 10 years later, I decided to redo the shower because a renter's father messed up the hardware. A company demo'd the stall and there was not one bit of moisture or mold in the area, and the area was perfect for a reinstall. They did a wonderful job. John was in constant contact with all of the utility companies, as well as DCRA, ensuring that we had all of the permits and any other paperwork required. It was very reassuring to know that a contractor takes the time and initiative and really wants the best for you and your project. John is extremely easy to be in communication with, his staff is honest, hardworking and skilled - all things that I think are important to anyone taking on a project, big or small. Without hesitation, Erick and his team came out to take a look and volunteered to buff and do the poly coat again. Wow. The difference was night and day! The flooring install looks great and very well done…read more Erick paid attention to detail, matching the landings to the reclaimed flooring in other rooms to pull the look together, even though this was not something we'd thought of before. :) His team was also patient in accommodating a slightly later than anticipated start each day, as I had to travel to the home to let them in. There were a few hiccups with stain color, namely how it looked in natural light and with the lights on (partly due to the fact that I am new to wood staining and partly due to the red wall adjacent to the sampling we did -- please do your research if you are new to this). There were also smudges on the wall post floor staining, all but one of which Erick was able to fix up (after I noticed and pointed them out which, unfortunately, was after the project was deemed complete). Erick provided a discount for the inconvenience/the one leftover smudge, which I appreciated. Erick took responsibility for his and his team's work and was responsive to our needs and any issues. The floors look great at a reasonable price and I was able to support a small business, which I value (and hope you will too). His primary crew, who worked in my home, were respectful, skilled and kind. I am glad to recommend them to others. Edit: A couple days after the work was done, I noticed some left over materials from the project like wipe cloths, empty plastic bottles, etc. in the home (not a huge amount so not the biggest deal, but things do add up). While the actual flooring work is excellent, clean up/close up is not always 100% it seems, so that's the area I would recommend the company improve. :)

Within 30 minutes of walking into its Fairfax showroom, we knew we had come to the right place (and we had gotten estimates from contractors and done some shopping around). BathExpress really was the one-stop source for transforming each of our 1968-era bathrooms. The designer was sharp, creative, and kind. We especially needed advice and direction because our three bathrooms are relatively small, none has a window, and all needed a complete overhaul.The BathExpress showroom had a wide selection of all products but thankfully did not overwhelm us with too many choices. After brainstorming with BathExpress folks about ideas and settling on plans, we were pleased with the price - very reasonable given all we were asking for. Once work began, all of the folks involved - including plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and tile installers - were professional, reliable, respectful, on time, careful to clean up each day, and deeply caring about their work. All made sure we were happy every step of the way. Because BathExpress is a one-stop source, we could relax and let BathExpress coordinate everything. This was a big advantage for us, especially with three bathrooms to rebuild and given our own busy schedules. This really is a key point: We didn't have to routinely be home during the work (and take time off from jobs and other appointments) to manage the project because BathExpress took care of all the managing and coordinating for us. BathExpress did the renovations smoothly and quickly, never getting bogged down. We used Biltmore for a bathroom remodel in the summer of 2022. It took 3 months and cost $67,000…read more It was an absolute nightmare working with Dave at Biltmore. He flooded our basement twice with an incorrect installation of a water softener. If we hadn't been home our entire basement would have been ruined. He flooded our family room ceiling (see photos) twice. They fixed it (twice) but it still looks lumpy, and ceiling paint was splattered all over our accent wall. At the end of the project, there were many things we were unsatisfied with. We requested a discount off the final invoice. Instead of granting us the discount, he threatened to put a lien on our house. He bullied me and convinced me that "this is not a problem" when it was. He came to my house when I was alone (I am a female) and picked a fight with me, insisting that my concerns were not valid. "There's a grimy film on our tile," I said. And his response was "That's just the way the tile is; there is nothing wrong with it." He lied to my face multiple times, made empty promises and he cannot be trusted. Here is the list of all the problems we encountered, that were never fixed: - The workers didn't follow the design. The bathtub niche placement was incorrect and the shower niche didn't use the bullnose. We paid over $300 for bullnose but that was never used. We requested a discount for that, but it was not honored. - They left a residue on the tiles. Many of the tiles have a grimy residue that will not come off and is a result of them not cleaning after they grouted. There are bits of grime all over the floor and it's very annoying because it's really visible and I can't get it clean. - The workers used our guest bathroom to clean their equipment and got dirt all over the counter. Some of that dirt landed in my dental retainer, which I had left on the counter. - They installed the wrong drain in the tub. I had to correct them to get them to change the drain. - The bathtub faucet never arrived and Dave lied about "looking everywhere" so they could continue the job. I got frustrated one day and searched for the faucet online myself. This faucet was available from the Kohler website and at the Ferguson website. I ended up purchasing the faucet myself so that the project could continue. Even after that, Dave swore up and down that he was checking for the faucet online every day. - Because they had to install the bath tub faucet after the tile was in place, they ended up scratching the tile around the faucet and it's very visible. - The person who sold us the job quit working for Biltmore before the job started. As a result, the design wasn't monitored and mistakes were made in the design. - The "project manager" (Jamal) entered our home without our permission. We removed the lock box from the door and told him we would not be home until 8:30 am. Despite this, he walked into our house (we accidentally left the door unlocked) while my husband was taking a shower. Contractors should not enter your home without your permission. - The counter top caulking to the wall is completely cracked. - The bedroom carpet threshold is messed up. There is a big lump of carpet and when you walk over it you can feel the tack strip under your feet. - The medicine cabinets they ordered only came with 2 shelves. I had to buy additional shelves myself. - Dave promised to come over for one final walk through with his workers and he never did. The workers showed up, but he wasn't there. - Cabinet handles are not level. We are currently exploring legal options. This experience was a nightmare and I highly recommend against using Biltmore.
