Of course, it's not a common faucet valve/catridge. They had to go back to their shop. Returned a couple of hours later with new valves - they tried to just replace the cartridge but the valve was corroded/fused together. Quick initial response and reasonably quick service on a uncommon part. Maybe a little more expensive but not excessive (was hoping it was just the cartridge). I'll keep them in mind for my next plumbing "adventure".

I called the company to put in some angle stops (shut off valves) below my sinks and to carefully…read moreremove my faucet handles for refinishing. I had a whole discussion with the plumber, Ernesto on should he remove the shower faucets too, but because the refinishing would take a while, and the way shower handles work, I'd have to leave the water to the condo off for weeks while the refinishing was done. So we both agreed not worth it. I am mentioning this because we had a detailed conversation on saving the sink faucets. I even told him I'd wrap them in paper carefully when he was done. I then left him to do his work. I came back in and he was whacking away at the handles. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was the only way to remove them. I asked him if they would then be salvageable and he said no. I asked him in a panic why the heck he didn't run this by me. I would've told him not to remove the faucets if he couldn't get them out and salvage them! What he did next blew my mind. He picked up and left. He didn't reconnect the waterlines. He didn't reconnect the angle stop. He left a mess. I called the company and Melissa was very nice to me and listened to my complaints and sent somebody else out to at least give me water by hooking up the angle stops. He showed up was very angry and did bad work. The angle stops did not hold water. I called the company back and nobody answered. Nobody answered today either, a day later. Now I will be filing complaints with the contractor state licensing board, and anybody else that is relevant. Not only did he destroy my faucets, but he broke my sink as visible in the photos and video. I wouldn't call Sal's plumbing ever if you care about the quality of your home. They clearly do not care about their customers and should be put out of business.

I contacted Jet Drain to repair a back up that had moved from kitchen to one of my showers. I had…read moreother plumbers attempt repairs and others with outrageous estimates. Jet Drain came out and began jetting the lines. Once cleared, they were able to see that the 70 yr old pipes under the house (on slab) were severely corroded and needed replacement. I was not expecting to replace all the waste pipes in the house, but after seeing the condition of the pipes, it was clear that it had to be done. They provided top-quality work at a very competitive price. Abi and his crew replaced all waste pipes under bathrooms and rerouted the kitchen/laundry line for more direct access to the main line. They also installed a cleanout at the main line. The work they completed is top tier quality. They were very considerate of the interruption the repairs had on our lives and coordinated their work for minimal disruption. They were very neat and respectful of our indoor and outdoor spaces, and the crew were all friendly and professional. I have peace of mind knowing I have an optimal plumbing system running under my house. I am so pleased with their work from start to finish. I highly recommend Jet Drain!!

Finding someone to do work that rarely needs to be done can be an extremely stressful process. At…read moreleast with car repairs, you find someone you can trust and you stick with that guy until the end of time. But plumbers or electricians? Egads! Who can you trust? Who's not going to overcharge you or try to find imaginary problems that also need repair? Well, in this case it was Jet Drain. Earlier that morning, Costco was scheduled to deliver a new washing machine to replace the one that died after over a decade of faithful service. RIP. After they showed up an hour too early unannounced, they told us the valves were the wrong type and in the wrong place so they wouldn't hook it up until we called a plumber. Oh my! Turning to Yelp, about 4 businesses responded and I chose 2 I felt had the most solid reviews. Jet was the first to show up and immediately I felt these guys were trustworthy. They explained what needed to be done and pointed out what Costco would be checking when they returned. I would have had them start right then but I had one more company coming out for an estimate and didn't want to blow them off. They were pretty honest too but he started with a complete overhaul, tearing down the wall and replacing all the pipes for $1,800. Now I know I will need that one day but Wednesday was NOT that day. He did give me a lower quote for what I actually wanted but Jet was still cheaper. I asked the other company to send me the estimate for installing the valve box and drainage system for future reference. He said he would. He never did. Glad I chose Jet. I called to see if they could return that same day to do the work and they were available. There was a problem with the old connectors not fitting the replacement valves so the job became more difficult, thus more expensive. They were able to cut one of the pipes in order to solder a new connector for one valve and he went back to Home depot and located a different valve that did work on the existing pipe saving me a few hundred dollars. That meant a $300 job only increased to $450 instead of the $900 he originally thought it would cost if they had to bust the wall in order to cut the pipe, although he did bring the price down to $750 because he felt bad the job was becoming so expensive. Thanks to his diligence, the price only went up a bit even with the extra time and labor. Plus driving to Home Depot to try and find something to make the project work. I am so pleased with the service I got from these guys. I'm not sure if it was Abi or Aramis (I neglected to get his name) but I would recommend Jet Drain to anyone looking for a plumber. These guys are now my go to. I've got a handyman for the little jobs but if I need the big guns, it's Jet Drain all the way.

These guys are the real deal, they arrived on time with a big crew of guys and got to work right away and finished a big job in 1 day (quicker than expected) I really appreciated that they got my clarification and approval on questions/decisions as the work went on and they were more than happy to address any issues I brought up. Anyone who has had plumbing done before knows finding a reliable crew that does good work is especially difficult at a reasonable price. I am really impressed and will definitely be using them again for future projects!

Being new to town, we gave Hillside Plumbing a call because look at these Yelp Reviews. 2 hours later, Mike pulled up and immediately, we knew we'd made a wise choice. Within minutes, he'd assessed the situation and was confident it was a quick fix. Less than an hour later, he was headed to the next job and we were flushing toilets, just because we could. Aaaah, the things we take for granted. The front yard looks as though nothing ever happened and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable and fair.
