They seem to be upset because I nolonger wanted to get my toes & nails done (just my child) they said polish change is $18 for toes and $15 for hands! Terrible experience at this salon. I made two appointments for the same time so that my husband and I could get side-by-side pedicures. His appointment started on time, but I waited for 45 minutes. When I finally said something about the wait, I overheard the technician tell another tech that he didn't want to take me because he wanted to go to lunch. I'm guessing they forced him to do my pedicure and he seemed super pissed the whole time. I think I lost a few layers of skin from how hard he was exfoliating. All in all, a terrible experience. Why is this place still in business? They are an assembly line business. They will over book and make it seem like your fault. Please stay away from the technician called Nini. She will mess up your nails, she will leave you to go get other customers, and then the manager doesn't agree that customers are always right. This is the worst nail salon ever. I came in to do my wedding nails and it was an epic fail!!! She left my nail in the dissolver and allowed my fingers to burn. Worst experience at the nail salon. Stay away from A&D nails, and please do not let Nini do your nails if you decide to get your nails done with these clowns. read more

The woman who did my nails was amazing! However, the management treated me poorly. I inquired about the rewards/ points system because I was there 3 weeks ago and wanted to make sure that my visits were logged. Instead of answering my question, the manager came over to argue with me about whether or not I had been to the salon before today. The manager/owner insisted that this was my first time in the salon even though my name came up in the system when I entered my telephone number. What an odd thing to fight a return customer over! Eventually, the receptionist patiently said ma'm you were here on September 6th. The entire time that the manager was arguing with me the receptionist could clearly see the screen showing my recent visit. The story then changed to we only give points to customers who pay with cash, not with credit cards. I ended this horrific exchange, paid my bill, and tipped the kind technician who did my nails. I vowed never to return. I'm not sure when establishments will learn that all money is green and every person who enters your business is deserving of respect. Shameful and unnecessary. After reading other reviews it is clear that certain clients are not welcome in this establishment and dissuaded from returning. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I decided to treat myself to a gel mani and pedi for my birthday at A&D Nails on April 26, 2024, and I honestly regret going there. I really wanted a pink French tip with short acrylics. I showed Vance my inspo picture, and he said he could do it (I will provide my inspo picture below). I explained that I wanted it exactly like the photo, but just pink instead of white. I got done with my nails and didn't really get a good look at them until I got to my car, and I couldn't believe how bad they looked. I haven't gotten my nails done in a minute, so l FaceTimed my friends who get their nails done regularly to get their opinions, and they all agreed they looked bad. I honestly started tearing up in the car. So l decided to walk back in and ask another tech if there was any way to fix my nails. I even showed other customers in there my nails and got their opinions, and they all agreed on how bad they looked. You could see all of my natural nails through the acrylics. I wanted square, but the shape is honestly giving duck-shaped nails. I also got cut multiple times on both hands and was bleeding (you can see in the pics I provided). One worker had to call Vance to return to the salon to fix my nails. I asked Vance if there was anyway to not have my natural nails show through. Vance explained to me that it was impossible for my natural nails to not show through, but that's simply not true. A darker, nude color would have covered my natural nails. I literally see pictures of people in their reviews with the same thing l wanted. They ended up apologizing and giving me $12 back out of the $122 for not being able to do French. I honestly think I should have gotten more back or had another tech that could actually do what was any way to fix my nails. I have been to this business on three occasions. The first visit with a mail technician for my standard gel fill and gel pedicure was mediocre, he was not nice or friendly but my nails were filled and toes painted. Returned for a second visit, another mediocre job and I had to request the nail tech remove the polish she'd left on my feet (not my toes my feet, metatarsals); her initial response was "oh it's okay, just polish". Visited a third time, bc I couldn't make it to the place I prefer that is 30 minutes away, the pedicure nail tech was very nice (it was her first day) but again a middling job; I asked for a polish change in my nails and the pregnant tech in the first chair on the right when you walk in refused to, pretending as though she did not understand my request for a policy change. She spoke to the others staff in another language and "no one" could do a polish change. It's disconcerting reading the other posts to think that this too may have been race related. read more

This is my second time here. My first visit was fine with a woman but this time It was awful!!!! The guy who did my manicure (acrylic) filed the crap out of my nails and they are soooo sore now! Even though he filed them forever they are still rough and snagging my sweaters. My Pedicure was a nightmare! He scraped skin off the side of my heal being so rough. I immediately had to put my foot in the water cause I was worried about getting infected. He sprayed straight up alcohol on it which burned like crazy. I kept telling him I have bad arthritis and my feet are super sensitive and he was so rough with my feet I finally just said to stop and paint my toes so I could be done. He went to put oil on my toes and legs to rub them and squirted it across the room into my shoes!! It was absolutely the worse pedicure ever! And on a side note his nails were soooo gross! A&D nails will not get another penny from me again . Lack of communication from nail technician (nini). She did my full set liquid gel , I was not 100% satisfied because the gel was too thick . 3 days later 3 nails started to lift so I called the salon to let them know if I could get them repaired. The receptionist said that it could be repaired, but I had to book with her again because she said quote " other people are not gonna wanna do it and they will charge you " So I said okay I'll book with nini again so I can have them fixed . My appointment was made for that Saturday at 12:30pm I get there at 12:25 and was told by receptionist that nini was just finishing up her previous client . I'm assuming 10-15 minutes max . A different nail approached me and said I could head back to Ninis station . The time was already 1pm and still nothing . Nini was just beginning to do a pedicure, now was I supposed to wait another 30-40 minutes for her to be done after my appointment was for 12:30 pm???? A big waste of my time . read more

It was my first time there, and I got a pedicure. I usually don't let anyone else touch my feet, but it was Mother's Day, and my pregnant daughter wanted pedicures as her gift. The man who did my pedicure, cut my nails very rounded, and I'm prone to ingrown nails. He injured the big toe as he did it, and I'm still in pain a week later. He burned my legs with the hot stones, as he massaged my legs. I even told him it was too hot, and he continued until I told him no. As he polished my toe nails, he cleaned the polish off my skin with his long dirty thumb nail! I asked him to use a tool (orangewood stick) instead and he said no he didn't have anything he could use instead. He kept using his fingernail! I asked for a butterfly design and he couldn't do it, so I ended up with a flower of sorts. Totally not the best experience....I will say my daughter on the other hand, had a good service. Her technician Mimi, did a beautiful job. i would suggest using her if she's free. read more

This management had given donations to the firehouse. I was told $25 card but the salon said that it was only $10. ok I understand but why hold me for over 30 minutes to pay my bill when said management said that I would only get $10 and not $25. I said over 5 times just let me pay the bill and I wanted to leave. Nope she was on the phone speaking a foreign language saying God knows what and holded me hostag. Again I said that I would just pay the dag on $15 dollars. Your management handled the situation all wrong. It had nothing to do with me on the mistake and I didn't not need to see or hear how upset you& your staff was over this happening previously.
