Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

I asked them to inspect my tires because a well-known chain repair shop had told me I needed new tires, but Litchfield Auto confirmed my current tires were well within specifications, saving me nearly $1,000 on an unnecessary replacement set. The work I authorized included a cooling system service, oil change, repair of the windshield washer system, diagnosis of an inoperative cigarette lighter, and replacement of the battery. Although replacement parts for my windshield washer system were no longer available, they took the time to develop a workaround that resulted in a system that works better than the original did. What stood out most was their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail, especially from Jenny, my service advisor. It can be challenging to find a shop willing to work carefully on a 26-year-old vehicle, but the team treated my Cavalier with respect and kept me informed throughout the process. While waiting in the reception area, I overheard the owners speaking with another customer. They offered to assist the other customer when they didn't have to. I went to Cien Motor Werks twice. Both times were for alignment on my 2" lifted Toyota 4Runner…read more Everyone was polite and professional. First, let me say that the alignment was spot on, the technician confirmed that there were some rubber bushings that had seen better days. I had already suspected this, but the Tech confirmed. I replaced those parts and brought my vehicle back a couple weeks later. Once again after a minor adjustment, the alignment is very good and my vehicle was in and out within 30 minutes. I don't understand why they charge an additional $80 for lifted vehicles when the work is exactly the same for a non lifted one. I understand that not all lifted vehicles are the same. Once again, my vehicle drives very well. As a former ASE Certified Master Tech, I thought it wise to check the torque on the alignment cam fasteners when I got home. Toyota specifies 100 ft lbs. Well, guess what. I found every fastener was grossly under torqued. Maybe the tech wasn't aware, or they figured if I hit a pot hole or something, I'd just come back and spend another $184 on another alignment? I torqued all four fasteners to spec and each one turned more than two times around before reaching the correct torque. On both alignments, I found my tie rod boots twisted. The least the tech could have done was un-twist them after making adjustments. Additionally, they pushed back each time I asked about their $25 off per alignment. It's clearly posted on THEIR website in RED. 1st time giving me only $20 off, 2nd time only $15 off. While I was there I inquired about some potential future work. Their estimate was competitive, but given my experience there, I would not recommend this place to a friend and I likely will not be back there.

When I had an older Jeep with some serious issues, including a terrible death wobble, they were always kind, understanding, and honest about what was going on. They never tried to upsell me, scare me into unnecessary repairs, or tell me something needed to be fixed when it didn't. They did the work that was needed and were always upfront about the condition of the vehicle. I eventually made the decision on my own to get rid of the Jeep because the ongoing repairs just weren't worth continuing to invest in it. I purchased a newer vehicle and initially started taking it to the dealership, but after seeing how expensive routine maintenance could be, I decided to go back to Kandi and Jason. I've been getting my oil changes and routine maintenance done with them ever since, and I plan to continue using them. Cars and repairs are expensive, and while none of us like seeing the bill, I'd much rather pay someone I trust who is honest, does the work correctly, and tells me things as they are. That's what I appreciate most about Kandi and Jason, they've always treated me fairly, never pressured me into unnecessary work, and have earned my trust. I highly recommend them.

I went in for an oil change on my 2007 Lexus LS460. (134,000 miles)…read more I had an appointment and it took 5+ hours to get the service completed. Julian told me I couldn't get a Lyft ride because I had my service dog with me. They give you a number to text the service advisor, however, he never responded. I went to the desk and inquired about my car and was told it was in queue. Behind several others. Julian told me when I set the appointment it would take 2 hours. They listed my car as a 6 cylinder when it is an 8 cylinder. They listed 8 quarts of oil when the car takes 9.1 quarts. My mistake. I normally use Mobile 1 full synthetic high mileage and always do normal maintenance. They supposedly topped off all fluids but the coolant needed topped off. When I asked what the high low temp tolerance was on the coolant they told me it needed changed. (It was changed in the last 2 years) They also told me there is no such tool to test that. It is commonly called an antifreeze/coolant tester (hydrometer or antifreeze refractometer) Every repair shop has one. They also told me I needed my brake fluid changed even though that was done 2 years ago when the coolant was done. I was told my transmission was leaking. There has never been an oil stain on my garage floor or my driveway. I did have it checked by 2 other shops and both told me, and showed me it was fine. They said I need a fuel induction service performed. Not on a 2007 Lexus LS 460. That isn't how it works. The V8 has a port injection not a direct injection. There is no issue with starting, idling, take off hesitation or fuel economy. The most needed would be an additive. I only use premium gas so the valves are continuously washed and cleaned when driving. They lost my key fob and missed that I needed a drivers side windshield wiper. I could go into more items but suffice it to say I will never use them again and if you are a woman, beware. They will treat you like an idiot.
