If you need a tow, look no further, these are your guys. My mom was visiting Dorchester and the owner Ronny got us out of a real tough pickle. Mom drives a hot red Infinity sports car -- manual obviously -- and always in heels. She was having a hard time finding parking, and I pointed out one she could back into. Since spots were limited, I thought it was best to snag it. Only problem was it was on a hill. She pulled over to the side in front of the spot (blocking a driveway) and was going to go for it. Except her car wouldn't reverse up the hill... and if we rolled forward more than a foot we'd hit the parked car in front of us. F*CK. It was tough to explain the sitch' over the phone, and Ronny had an initial laugh ("You're tellin' me your Mah can't pahk her own cah?!") but he got the jist and offered to park it for us. He drove right over, tried and failed about 5 times, getting us with in INCHES of the next car. "OK. There's more than one way to skin a cat!" He came back in 15 minutes with the tow truck. I have never been so relieved to see a tow truck lower their gear. No charge, and he wouldn't accept a tip -- he was just happy to help my mom. (She's pretty cute, so I get it. He'd also made $144 bucks towing me for street cleaning a week before so I like to think we're even). If you get towed by A&B, know that they are good people! read more

I went to the front desk to let them know there was a nail in the tire after the tow that i know for sure wasnt there. And the guy immediately got defensive. I was just hoping they could suggest a place to get the tire plugged or if i should take it out or not. These guys were the tow company contracted to tow my car on Columbia Street in South Boston when there was "Street Cleaning" (also known as the way the city makes extra money from people). They towed my car to their tow yard in Dorchester and in the process of picking up my car punctured a hole in the sidewall of my front drivers side tire (back of the tire). These guys are scum bags and the city of Boston is your typical greedy heartless city. It was $150 to get it out, $40 ticket plus the cost of a new tire $150. All in all an expensive day- the reason I was parked there? I was doing community service work at the local school. read more

These people are the lowest pieces of crap on the planet. I had a family emergency and forgot to move my car for street cleaning. The tow was just to their lot that is a 2 minute walk from my house. Ok, I can accept the ticket, towing, and 1 day of storage. But 2 days of storage is stealing. I called the owner and she was a rude douchebag. Karma will be on my side for this one! I get that most people have phones and can locate where you are, but you need a sign by the street. It's a huge lot with tons of entrances. It's already a miserable experience going to get your car, please don't make it harder for other people by not having a clear sign so you know where to go. I don't think it's a lot to ask, just put one under the main entrance by the road. I'm sure you could pay for it with the $143 you charge to tow a car. The sign halfway towards your lot isn't helpful. I eventually found it but it took me 10 mins to find the place. read more

They are the fastest tow company I know, and the only one I use. I've had to call them a few times, I'm not a bad driver I just have bad luck, and they have always come to my rescue. About a week ago I had an accident, car was totaled and I couldn't move but I was sitting in an intersection. The police at the scene called a tow and I called them after and they arrived before them and I wasn't even in their area. If you need an easy, fast tow call A&B towing. Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. They're flat-our rude on the phone. I had to change my tow location, and they told me that was fine. Fast-forward, and they're half an hour late, and I have the audacity to call to check in, and they told me they canceled it. Huge inconvenience. read more

A & B towing, this review is long over due. My dad had a car which had been stored in my yard and a almost two days prior to labor day he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on top of the cancer he suffered from dementia. He did remember his car, with him being terminally Ill when he asked for it we took it to him ( he couldn't drive it) long story short it was towed, and his health rapidly declined. Knowing what we as a family would be facing soon, we opted not to get the car out of impound, I called a few times and the owner a little harsh at first (I understand it's a business ) was so understanding. During the end for my dad I lost contact with A&B , and because the fine was so high I knew I couldn't afford to get this truck so I gave up. A few weeks after my dad passed and I returned to work I received the best call ever, the truck was still there AND I BROKE OUT IN TEARS and after explaining that my dad wanted my son to have the truck they worked with me to no avail, to make it happen. I had to do all the legal jumble to get the truck turned over etc which took forever (months) in the meantime we spoke weekly or bi weekly and they still held the truck. I won't say what the final bill was on it ( cost of a new car), but I will say he SOLD ME AND MY SON THE TRUCK BACK, for the price of 2 insurance payments. I sent the office a basket from MRS. FIELDS as a THANK YOU. It just goes to show if you're not an A** and treat people with RESPECT they will work with you. My son has the truck and drives it daily, my did had crashed into something so there is a dent, but as long as that dent is there I know he's protecting my son. This place does involuntary tows for street cleaning, obviously no one is going to like them. The fact that the city hits you was a ticket and minimum $125 towing fee is robbery but that's an issue you should take up with the city/ state. That being said, this place is IMPOSSIBLE to find. I couldn't see a sign visible from the street and I had to ask 2 different businesses located at the same facility where this place is. If you're looking for your car it's all the way around the right hand side in the back. If you're going to charge me so much money to hold my car for a few hours the least you can do is put up some directions. read more

Amazing tow company workers are great always on the move they are very quick and nice the only company I trust

I was annoyed that my car was towed, but that wasn't their fault (street cleaning. Just moved to the area so I didn't know). They were pretty nice under the circumstances. My car was undamaged, and the process was quick and easy. You can't see them from the street (they're all the way in the back), but there are signs directing you (basically, just keep going until you're at the far end of the lot). read more

I wish I can put this as a no star. Got my car towed today for the first time without having the knowledge that I have to pay. The lady and her family making it seems like I was a thief trying to take my car away without paying when I dont even know about it. If you are professional and has good customer service, you do not treat your customers like crap. You are responsible for having the customer understand the situation and guide them and not yelling at them and say "I will not sit here and argue with you and just go pay." All I wanted to know was the reason I got towed and what time that street has street cleaning. No reason to give an attitude and make a nasty tone. Dont worry towers, I will self warned myself about reading street cleaning signs and you guys will not have the trouble to tow my car again. Tow companies are NOT my favorite companies to work with but these guys get the job done and they do it fast. I will say that if you are ever in need of a tow, CALL THESE GUYS!! I needed a tow was almost waiting 3 hours for another tow company, I remembered these guys called them up and within half an hour my car was hooked up.
